Don't get me wrong, I like most Jews, they're warm friendly people but the bottom line is they reject Jesus, and what I can't understand is why they think they've done no wrong?Surely this is clear enough - Jesus said:- "Whoever rejects me rejects God" (Luke 10:16)Can anyone help me understand their mindset?

Jews are God's people. We are only accepted into God's family though Jesus Christ.I'm not to sure about it though. But here is your final answer.Acts 10:34-3534 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.Last night, the internet was down, so I turned on the tv and changed the channel onto TBN. "This is your day" was running. And I was like, "Oh great, Benny Hinn." But he was actually having an interesting conversation with a pastor. So I listened and they were talking about current events and Israel. Basically they said it was like this. If the Jews are being bothered, then the whole world is being bothered. If the Jews are at war, then the world is at war. Whatever nation helps God's people, then God will bless that nation.

Wakka,God does not play favoritism. Jesus made it clear that we are Abraham's decendants if we trust Jesus and follow Him.love, hitomi

Abraham decendants? More like Abraham seeds...to be honest.Hitomi is right that, that God is no respecter of persons/doesn't play favoritism...So the question is...(Title)

Romans 3:29 - Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:Lovest thou in Christ Jesus (Yahshua) our Lord and Saviour.

Well, going from on topic. Yes, God still loves Jews. They still worship the same Yahweh don't they? (We just have Jesus and the Holy Spirit). However, when Jesus comes the second time, they'll have no choice but to accept him. Or they'll commit the unforgivable sin.

I don't understand..How can Jews love God if they disobey him?"This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, listen to him" (Matthew 17:5)Also they deny that Jesus is the Messiah - "A liar denies Jesus is the Christ, and is an antichrist" (1 John 2:22-23)So does this verse below apply to all Jesus-rejecters except Jews?"How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot....it is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Heb 10:29-31)

Ah good point. So the only Jews that will make it to heaven will be those from before the time of Christ's birth?

It is obvious that some Jews kept the laws of Moses. According to the Bible, Joseph and Mary, Jesus' earth parents did and many others. Those people who were faithful with keeping the law had salvation. After Jesus, all nations apply Jesus' teachings and have to accept Jesus for salvation.

I know. It's hard to believe. But we must remember that it was prophesied that God would blind their eyes and make their hearts calloused, which he has done until the "full number of the Gentiles has come in."

If they kept the commandments I'm sure the ancient Jews are in with a chance, but it's the Jews who came after Jesus who are in grave trouble for rejecting him as the Messiah.Jesus said - "..if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins." - John 8:24There you have it from the lips of Jesus himself, so surely anyone who contradicts him by insisting the Jews aren't condemned are as guilty as they are?

God has not forgotten the Jews and Israel.....the Jews will be saved, but not untill the fuiness of the Gentiles has happen.Romans 11:25 (KJV) 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. fulness:Greek Word: πλήρωμαTransliteration: plērōmaPhonetic Pronunciation: play'-ro-mah from (pleroo); repletion or completion, i.e. (subject) what fills (as contents, supplement, copiousness, multitude), or (object) what is filled (as container, performance, period) :- which is put in to fill up, piece that filled up, fulfilling, full, fulness. —Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary

I still get angry at secular people who try to blame Pilate for Christ's death when Pilate washed his hands of Christ's blood and gave the Jews the choice of what to do with Jesus. I realize that since the Jews have been persecuted (which God said he would do in punishment of the Jews all over the OT), many people want to come to their defense. What they don't realize is that the Jews are no better or worse than anyone else. They do things right and wrong like everyone else. So why lie about what the Jews did to Jesus? It doesn't help anyone.

If you want to look at it that way, then one could truly argue that Pilot is equally responsible, because he did not exercise his authority. If he wanted he could have over ride what the Jews wanted. The fact is that the way it went is the way it was suppose to go, because if Jesus was not crucified then we would not have a savior. The truth is all human beings are responsible for Jesus' death, because if sin had never entered this world, then Jesus would not have to come and die for us.The good news is that even though we are responsible for Jesus' death, we are not held accountable, because His very death nullifies that.

How can your father love you if you disobey him?Or even, How can God love you when you still continue to sin?

Actually, he couldn't have as, Jesus told him in John 19:11, "You would have no power over me if it weren't given you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin." That's it in a nutshell. Jesus tells us that it's the Jews who were responsible for his death. But because the Jews have been so persecuted, many people want to lie about what happened to defend the Jews. Once again, the Jews do things right and wrong like the rest of us, and murdering Jesus was definitely a wrong.

Agreed, as long as there's breath in our bodies, God loves us, but if we die a nonchristian, that love is CUT OFF at that instant and we're doomed. Therefore each Jew and nonchristian has got until the point of death to repent..

I'm sorry to disagree with you but that's not true......the un-repented dead will be brought back from the dead, in what the Bible calls the second resurrection.
