Does it matter to you whether or not your close/best friend is Born-Again ? "How can two walk together except they be agreed" ?

No. my best friend for 48 years is a Jew.
One friend claims to be born again but i don't think he is at all.
We all argue full on but respect each other opinions other that that we get on just fine.
The rest of my Christian friends are more stuck some where like in the parable of the sower shows, but what can you do, only have hope they will come closer to the Lord Jesus.

That is a tough question because I am the best friend of two born again Christians, but I do not consider them to be my best friends. My best friend died in a motorcycle accident - he was not born again. My other best friend considers herself born again, but is a homosexual. So this issue is a bit complicated.

Two other friends of mine consider themselves to be born again, but one of them does not believe in church or doctrine - so you guys would question his Christianity.

Hi aspen2, I am so sorry for the loss of your best friend, I can't even imagine how painful that must be. God bless you and comfort you always.

Holly, Christianity is not like Amway. In Amway they teach, "if your friends don't become distributors you need new friends."

In Christianity, we are taught to persever and to pray for our friends and family that they may receive Christ, not to abandon them in their time of need. And "their time of need" lasts until the moment they take their last breath.
