Greetings from Canada!

Hi guys!

My name's Jess. I'm from BC, Canada, and totally love life. Wandered across the internet to find these forums, so I figured I may as well join and meet some new people, while learning more about the God I adore!

Several things you may want to know about me;

-I'm still a Teenager, but considering Christ lives in me, that is no excuse for my actions and behaviour. I take account for everything I do and think before I act. Some of you guys must be like, 'whoa, a Teenager who does this?' Haha. Just kidding.

-I have a sense of humour that doesn't really end.

-God's given me the ability to play sports at a very high level, so I am currently playing with a semi-professional club in Soccer/Football! Praise the Lord.

-My roots are that of Mennonites.

-I'm an Optimist.

So, I look forward to seeing you around the boards (If Teenagers are allowed...) and meeting everyone.

Hi Jess,

Glad to meet you. I am not a teenager but don't let that stop you from conversing with us or sharing your portion of Christ with us. If you have Christ then you have much to share.

There are a couple of other teenage believers here but you would not know that by their very edifying and encouraging posts. I am sure you will meet them and we are glad they are here.

Welcome to the Christianity Board, Jess. My sense of humor tends to be rather facetious, and too often people don't understand it and are offended by it--which is not my intention. I have a grandson a little younger than you (16 this September), and a granddaughter who is 17--so I am defintely almost old.

Welcome Jess . I am in the Winnipeg Manitoba area. I find it greatly encouraging when youth like you have one foot solid in Jesus ........

and the other one wanting to be one of those wild teenage Mennonites we hear about from time to time .... I've heard about you guy's

Notice I am testing my sense of humor against yours ???? Did you survive ??

I love optimistic people who can laugh once in a while .... helps get through some of the crap in life.

Best wishes in your athletic endeavors. ..... and yes .... teenagers are welcome here ..... keeps some of us old guy's on our toes.

Heya! Good to see you have a good sense of humor as well! Sometimes the dry humor does bug some people...I've had my share of bad times by saying things a little bit too cheekily and coincidently offending them. (Accidental, of course!)
Good to see someone a little older and wiser like you on here too though! It's awesome to see!

Welcome Jess, I started this forum when I was a bit older than you. I actually tried to start another Christian forum at your age, but it just didn't work out. Nevertheless, I can understand where you are coming from. I've said it before, and I will say it again, it excites me to see people your age eager to learn, share, and grow in Jesus. The world has so rapidly changed even from 10 years ago when I was 15, that it amazes me. All the changes aren't good for that matter, but seeing the remnant that is always there gives me heart.

Interesting on your Mennonite roots - a large part of my family hails from Virginia where the Mennonites live.

I look forward to seeing you on the boards, and seeing what you have to say. I always appreciate a sense of humor, as well.

PS: Teens are always welcome here at Christianity Board!
