It snot so funny, you know. I woke up this morning, opened my mouth and proceeded to speak. And I knew the moment I did that Jesus was listening. I said to Him how much a fool I was, apologised and asked Him to wash me clean, knowing that it wil be done. I look in my mind and I see Him sitting patiently, hands clasped, smile on His face. happy in knowing that He is frst on my mind when I wake up. He is with me where ever I am.

I am so amazed with God, His Love and patients, I often ask Him why He puts up with us, a rebelious lot we are.He offers us freedom, Love, hope, joy, salvation all without charge, even the Holy Spirit is a gift for thos who will receive Him, yet christians run around trying to pay for it all. You know in the end of it all, the only one that will ever be able to open the Lambs Book of life will be Jesus. there is no man on this earth or has being on this earth who will ever be rightousess enough to do it, only Jesus earned the right.

So many running around trying to please God, as if works of the flesh please Him,

Without faith you cannot please God.

REligion is not faith it is religion no matter what colour you paint it. God offer freedom religion offers bondage, Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit to teach us the truth, religion offer mens doctrines, mens truths. One requires faith and to walk in the spirit, the other requires submission to men, and obedience to the church.

You cant argue with the religious, they chose to be what they are, i choose Jesus, even HE couldnt convince the religious of the truth, they strung Him up, today they just distort His image into something that is quiet unrecogniseable.

Take an atheist a non believer, show them a Jehovas witnness, they will know who they are because of the way they speak, what they teach and by there works, show them a Morman, same thing, dreesed in suits, walking in pairs, sometimes with bicycles, but always look the same, the point is you become like your church, as I said before, if you want to be an anglican then go to an anglican church. or if you really desire the better thing, go to Jesus. than if you allow Him to work in you, you will becomejust like Him, isnt that what we are supposed to be doing, conforming to Christ.

We human beings are strange creatures, thats for sure. Jesus works to provide us a gift we can never pay for, but what do people do? Well they go out and spend the rest of their lives trying to purchace the gift they have already been given.

Why do humans do what we do?

Is it because deep down pride cannot allow us to accept our inability to achieve eternity with God?

Or do we simply think God is a person like us who does not love another person without them earning it? Or being worthy of it? Do we forget that God is not a man who's thoughts are not like mens thoughts?

It's sad how many people start in their walk with God with joy and certainty confident that Jesus has saved them. But after a while they start to move toward religious bondage, deep down they start to lose faith in the gift of salvation and they start to make their vain attempt to purchace it with filthy rags.

Alone you say, I thought Jesus said something like: " Where two, three or more of you are there in my name , their I will be in the mist amongst them " sounds more like a "Church" to me.

Havnt yout read Neophyte,

"And I will be with you always even untill the end of thie age",

Yes you are right. it is church, It is His Church, it has one head Christ Jesus. it is a Spiritual Church not a worldly Church,

Col_1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence

Joh_4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

But as Jesus said.

Mat_13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Mat_13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

For we have a teacher

Joh_14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

But those of this world cannot receive Him,

Joh_14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

And so I need no man but Jesus,

1Jn_2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

I am saved, not by my works, but by His works, I am a Saint, not because of anything I have done but because of what He has done.

That is the difference between Grace and religion.

I think one of the religious tenets of our age is radical individualism. Christ refers to God's people as one body. Individualism is part of our American heritage, but it is foreign to the NT.

The world looks at a group of people in church and say they are christians. Jesus looks all over the world sees those who are His, and says these are mine, they are all one in Me, they are not divided neither are they individuals for they are choose to conform to My image, This is My church.

One is teh world through the worlds eyes, the other is how it is in the Spirit.
