I mentioned several months ago on this board that Barack Obama would win.
And even as Romney pulled ahead in the polls I told people not to be fooled at that Mr. Obama would win.
The reason is a simple as it is obvious: Over the last two-plus decades America has been turning their backs to God.
God has had enough and He has chosen to return the favor.
Many who walk with God and have acknowledged His hand on our nation do not recognize the America of today. Haven't for quite some time.
In four years many of those who consider themselves Christians but supported Obama will themselves wonder sadly what happened to the America they knew.

Even if you put a saint in the whitehouse,he would be unable to stop the tide of evil that has overwhelmed this country,This country is rotten to the core,and the rest of the world knows it.The days of "father knows best",and "leave it to beaver",are over.
Yes,and let all who played a part in it without repentence recive their due......all have sinned for sure but the bible says woe to him,or her for that matter,through who the sin comes...a thousand times more for those who do not repent and turn to God....and a million times more for those who name the name of Jesus and are vessels of evil...anyone who thinks i am wrong please tell me why anyone should escape the misery they inflict on others.

You would be hard pressed to find a democrat in hate groups, Nazi groups, or white supremacy groups today. Nearly all those affiliated with them are Republicans.
I find Republicans as people who are most hateful towards people who disagree with them. And they love to drink the many flavors of Republican koolaid! They are the most misled, the most ignorant, the most arrogant, the most in denial of truth, the most slanderous, they promote the biggest lies, are full of half truths and misrepresentations, and just cannot get anything right! If the Republican base didn't mislead other Republicans then only the rich would vote for them.
Why did Romney and Ryan lose?
They lost because they are too negative , they lie too much, and are not very well liked! Romney didn't win my state of NH where he has a home in. He didn't even win one county in the State of MA. where he was governor in. And he didn't win Michigan where he grew up and where his father was governor. Ryan didn't even win his home town, his county, or his state!
Enough said!

It is funny.....why do some people think of post-WWII America as how America has always been and how it should always be? It was only a 15-20 year period of our history!

I cannot and do not ask for God's blessing upon this country. Our nation has turned its back on its only hope, spurned His good Word and mocked righteousness. It's illegal to pray in public and to display icons of the faith in many work places. Instead I pray for His mercy upon all those who are called by HIS gracious name.
You speak truly that America needs God's help to get out of our present situation - but America doesn't want it. America hates God and will not accept either blessing or harbingers of judgment to heart.
It isn't human nature to bless what is blessed or curse what is cursed. In America today the good is called wickedness and its debauchery is proudly hailed as comedy or a measure of pride. It is stated proudly in the media and everywhere that America is too big to fall. Proudly? What is it that goes before a fall?
American nationalism and pride has become an idol. How many protestant churches have you seen that display the American flag in a position SUPERIOR to that of the cross and the altar of our faith? In most churches the flag is displayed to its own right. That is proper etiquette and it means that every other flag and symbol is of less importance and is deserving of less of our allegiance than the flag. The cross is displayed to the left of the flag in the center of the church (usually), meaning that the cross of Christ is LESS than the flag. Do symbols mean anything? Does the cross mean anything? Christ should be at the apex of our allegiance. Instead He is now at the bottom of what America considers important and worthy of consideration respect or admiration.
If God does not judge America, then He owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology.
but that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...
The only thing i disagree with is this,if American nationalism and pride were a factor we would not be allowing ourselves to be flooded with third world immigrants with little or no skills...Americans have no pride in anything but themselves and their own personal advancement then they turn around and expect others to act in the best interest of the country,business hires illegals because they live 10 to 15 to a household and are cheap,then complain that tax policy does not favor small business or business in general....America has become the perfect storm of national suicide.
American nationalism and pride is the domain of the guilable and naive with modern christianity at its center....Rick Warren and Joel Osteen style pew warmers giving God his couple of hours a week and then its back to the game.
