I think the prejudice is evident in both of your posts. Alan and those arguing these irrelevant issues.

You're still basing your prejudice on the idea that blacks are still an oppressed minority and that they are the least of everyone because they have been virtually kept down for generations and centuries. The covert racism is as embedded in what you're saying as what anyone else here is saying. You assume the guy supports slavery because he's white and from a certain state. I don't know about Strat's salvation but if you are one of Christ's brethren then you should not be seeing everything from the racial lens you see it from now.

Im not a black there is no such thing as a black. I have not know any African AMericans to be the color black. You have never seen me say white because most of the dominant culture is not the color white. When you say that it was bad that the North did not allow the South to seceed you cause me to question you. I look at the North doing a great job in fighting to free slaves. Slavery would not have been abolished under the aristocratic dictatorship genocidal government of the Confederacy! Slavery is and was inhumane and thank God that the North abolished it and defended their stance!
Both parties want government expansion!
So if you're going to be against Bush, then are you against Obama as well because he reauthorized the bill and expanded federal powers more vociferously than Bush ever dreamed possible.
Since you seem to be historically fair-minded (aside from your genocidal comment) I just want to make sure that you are are aware of the great deal of blacks in the South who owned slaves leading up to the civil war. It was so widely practice among freedmen that a greater number of blacks owned slaves per capita than whites did. In fact, it was even more common for blacks to own a greater number of slaves than the average white slaveowner.
Do you affirm these historical facts?
Yes I do and those people will have to answer for that genocide of innocent people.
I'm happy you can bring yourself to admit that. Most people view these historical indelicacies to be repugnant.
Trust me sir, I can handle the facts. History has always been one of my favorite subjects. The facts may hurt and we may not like them but they are what is there. Im not as close minded and it may seem. Im just very passionate of my history and heritage as an African American. This country has been a blessing and is ways a curse to us but the blessings outweigh the curses. I love my country a WHOLE lot but we have some problems that are still unresolved. I think for me secession will be one of those parts of history I look at with pain and hurt. But that is just me interpreting history from my experience and teaching growing up.
The people who are advocating for secession are among some of the most marginalized people in society who have no political clout or say-so whatsoever. They're trying to be cute and smart but the government takes this language incredibly seriously.
Yeah because the secession pleas are coming from all around the country not just the South. The governement does have a lot of problems expecially allowing other faithes to publically voice their beliefs and they try to shut up the mouth of Christianity! And that is not right either!!
You don't want equal opportunity,you want equal outcome,if what you say is true then there should be no successful minorities in America but that is not the case,many who have educated themselves have become successful...what you are asking is why are those who do not bother to develop and practise success behaviours such as education and entrepreneurship not successful....all you are doing is saying the same thing oever and over again...it ain't fair....your words are an insult to every successful minority because it diminishes their hard work and effort.
The liberal tactic of accusing those who disagree with or confront you of hate is useless because you are trying to elevate yourself to a place in my life you don't have,i loose no sleep or bat an eye over you or anything you say....bringing God into it is childish
You are the one. I am a successful minority and know several we still look at it as our job to fight for the underprivaleged of our minority groups. By your constant venimous strikes you prove nothing yourself. I stand for equality for all and equal outcome for all. Yes there are a few minorites that want to stay under the slave mentality and depend on the dominant culture to take care of them and tell them what to do. Im not one of them I was not raised one! My point is as I have said over and over again America still needs work! Why do you address me so venimously and vile and expect me to listen to you oh no sir I wont be your slave! You wont crack any whip over my back and expect me to obey. Your words and mouth are a whip and you sure are and have been lashing!

It is a collective work on both ends! Thats what you are not understanding! If you would stop killing with your words and racial slurs and venimous biting then you would see that! I have come to terms with several in this topic and we see each others points of view. You come in and try to pull me back into defense mode! Just stop please the response in the biting and whip lashing tone you are using! Im not a slave nor will i ever be one to anybody except a slave to Christ and righteousness! Thank God that Jesus also endured lashes so He can understand the lashes my people have received! You are exposing the hidden racism in you more and more by your free use of racial slurs and your demeaning of others intelligence and the tone of your remarks! I do not hate you and love the Hell out of you but you seem to have a deep hinden hate in you! I will not be your victim nor the punching bag of your hate and will not stand for anyone using hate and nasty whip words on me or anyone else!
They talked about secession when bush stole the election from kerry(i remember them throwing eggs at his limosine)
Its the new world order and the facist goverment that they are trying to put into place,that has everyone up in arms.
Obama is nothing more than a puppet.
Other than complaining constantly,creating"black" groups and organizations of every kind,voting for corrupt politicians because they are black and rehashing history every chance you get what is your side doing ?
If it's not the Body of Christ contrary to the world, then it's just the world contrary to itself, and we're not part of that. I guess that might look different depending on where we live and what nation we're from, but the key verse I can think of is that we don't fight flesh and blood, even when we legally and scripturally defend the nations God has given us to protect under His law. But as far as choosing sides goes, I would tread with great caution, because no side is going to be right eventually, both politically and nationally, but it will be more an inner right and wrong that separates us from the rest. I'm not saying we should rebel against our systems of government, except I think our morality will inevitably become rebellion in itself once morality is opposed by our ruling authorities in a way I don't think the world has yet seen.
If the U.S.A was divided in half and a big wall was put up to keep both parties and the companies that supported them separate, who would dig under the wall to get to the other side first? Let all the independents pick their side?

Move all the liberals, progressives, statists, and socialists to California, build the wall, and watch what portion of America prospers and which does not.
We are helping our communities. Educating and promoting better living conditions for minorities. Our churches are centers of the community where various members of the minority population can come and worship and escape the reality of the oppressive world they live in. The Civil Rights movement of the 20th Century was birthed out of African American churches and their work in the community. We are trying to do our part to educate, prosper and build up strong, intelligent, Christian minorities. That is the goal of many of our churches and several of our Civil Rights leaders and politicians come from our churches. That is what we are doing!
Great leaders such as Mrs. Rosa Parks, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Bishop Charles Mason, Mrs. Coretta Scott King, and among many others have came out of the African American church. Also not so great leaders such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson (I believe all of us can say that these two do more bad for the African American community then they do good) have started in the African American church. The African American church is one of the most powerful and influential organizations in the African American community. Organizations such as Church of God In Christ (COGIC), United Holy Church of America, African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME), African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church (AME Zion), Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC) and among several other African American Christian churches have several social programs and things to benefit the community and build up, edify and educate the African American community. We are trying to do what we can for our community.
