Looks like things are heating up in the ME...

So what do we all think about the 'peace' deal that has been reached over there? Do we think it will hold? Do we think it should? How do we see Egypt's sudden leap onto the diplomatic stage? Are we thinking this could be a 'end times' thing, or at least a setting up that could lead there??
Lets talk facts...!

The first fact is anything God loves the majority of people either hate or are indifferent to...or as some do here try to do, rationalize away as being a minor issue.The bible has spoken about Israel and her people and what their future is so any "peace" until that time is temporary

You still haven't stated who you feel is the agrieved party in this situation, Gyspy...

You believe something but you are unable to defend it. I get it. No problem.
However, since there is only one position that is rather indefensible, that does make it easy to see where you stand.
Hence the blustering to avoid one simple reasonable question.

I don't think it can't hold either. Granted there is some, ah...differing in opinions in regards to Israel's place in the last days...is God going to bring them back to him? Is he going to reinstate the 'mosaic covenant' with daily sacrifices at the Temple? Will the 'tribulation' be set off by 7 years of peace....that kind of thing. And I suppose all we can do is watch it unfold. But unless something 'prophetic' in nature comes along to ensure those 7 years of peace, I can't see it happening. The Hamas terrorist think, even know, that they 'dealt Israel a blow'....seemingly forgetting they just got spanked. It won't be long until they decide Israel as a people need wiping out again, just for breathing, and then they'll put both Jews and there own innocent in the line of fire again. Sadly, its the nature of the beast.

In the end times we can all agree Armageddon takes place. Israel is now surrounded on all four sides by a neo-Arab "enlightenment" that is lining up the ancient enemy tribes of Africa, Asia, Europe, and the north against Israel...all players in that great final war. So..IMO...Yes.

Honestly, all the Israel goings on, the fact that they are indeed surrounded by enemies...how they seem to fall under a persecution on a generational basis that almost defies understanding...it does make me think that they are under going Satanic oppression still. And why would that be if God did not have future plans for the majority of them? I don't think it will involve a temple and sacrifices....it will require them to come to Jesus. But yeah...I definitely think it's a place to watch, and to wonder at God and his great plans.

Well...you know...it's a fact they were firing at each other. A fact that Muslims surround them, a fact that peace has been 'brokered' by the US and Egyptians. That sort of thing. I thought perhaps talking about those things might be preferable to what the thread had sort of de-evolved into!

you're making Israel look like the unresonable party when it's their enemies who are unreasonable.

Israel has won land in battle and gave it back, willingly. that's very reasonable.
