Actually when Yahshua says if we have enough faith of a mustard seed to move a mountain...To be honest, that "mountain" is not a literal sense. It was nations.Lovest thou in Christ Jesus (Yahshua) our Lord and Saviour.

moving mountains is a reference to the kinds of miracles that they can do in our Lord's name, of which they did after the Ascension; Jesus continually mentions that even greater works can we do also for those that believe upon him & ask in his name - to heal the sick, the lame & the blind.......even to the extent that if belief in him is strong in faith without doubt, walking on the water would not be impossible & feeding many with so little would not be impossible..by ourselves we can do nothing, but faith in Jesus Christ & our Father that sent him, all things are possible..

So He didn't mean it literally when He said in Mark 11:23, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."? Of course, I can't get past the doubt.

Thou art correct. There is so many symbology in this bible...so it's impossible to me to take it 100% literal...so YHWH speaks figureatively as well.Lovest thou in Christ Jesus (Yahshua) our Lord and Saviour.

Symbology? The correct word is "S-y-m-b-o-l-i-s-m". Now that I've got that Boondock Saints reference out oft he way we can continue.

The jews love metaphors. Always have and always will and the bible is littered with them. The problem is if you haven't studied it as is required of us then we cannot diferentiate the diference betwen the symbolisim and the literary messages.

The entire Book of Revelation is a large metaphore and cannot be taken literaly. Will it happen, yes; exactly that way it says? No.I do not believe that swords will shoot out of Jesus' mouth upon His decent upon the earth.

I think what it really means is that none of us has the fiath of a mustard seed...we all have a lot of hope..!! and we say we believe..but, we all believe in different things....this Christianity that we all claim to have has no singularity of faith.and that is why we must be tried..!!! we can all read the same words yet, come to different reasonings and conclusions.......so....who can move everest,,??? I still get scared over my finances......

I believe that much of the Bible is symbolic unless you believe that trees and floods have hands. Isa. 55:12 says that the "trees of the field shall clap their hands." Psalm 98:8 says, "let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together." So floods can also clap their hands, and hills can be joyful?
