Good work, Sir. Thank you for your service to the Lord.
I think some folks just haven't grown much in the Lord, believing what men tell them rather than clinging to the word and trusting in His Spirit. MacArthur is also presenting materials related to the Charismatic movement that make the claim that the Holy Spirit is dishonored by much of what is presented as His work. I would never limit God's gifts as only apostolic, but the Holy Spirit is given to reveal and glorify Jesus Christ to and in His Church, and the Lord is able to deal with liars. If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, well, it probably is a duck. (I hope that no one on the forum engages in holy quacking.)

As I have stated many times before on this forum and outside this forum the Holy Ghost is intelligent. He will not make you act against the Word of God. For He is a gentlemen and a consuming fire.

He has no understanding of the words consequent and obsequent when he tried to tinkery-toy scripture into saying things it just does not say.

Fruitcake? That's a new one. I'll have to start a new list of things I've been called. But always remember when you call me a name; I've been called worse by better than you.

He say's that after Rev. 4 the church never appears again until the return of Christ in chapter 19. It amazes me that a man with such international influence can goof that up! He's basing his beliefs on something that he say's "is not in scripture" (church) when in fact it is!

We have martyrs, saints, brethren, servants, sealed servants, fellow servants,...all over Revelation. What a blunder from such an educated man.

He say's,

"the absence of instruction or warning to the church about the tribulation."

Makes no sense to me why we would be warned about something while we are in it's midst!

He say's, "we go up and come right back down again." Another colossal blunder. We are resurrected from paradise. And you can't get into heaven without a glorified body anyway which we don't get until after chapter 14 where the rapture takes place anyway!

Then he say's there will be no one to populate the Millennium. Amazing that a man of that caliber is unable to interpret the separation of the sheep and goats which is the judgement that determines who populates the Millennium.

I've never been fond of MacArthur. He's another offensive anti-Catholic basher. I actually avoid him like the plague!

All I see is the same old pre-tribulational garbage that the devil wants promoted and believed throughout the church!

Revelation 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed,[a] which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,[b]21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God[c] spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:19-21

The book of the revelation of Jesus Christ is not open to interpretation, but it is open to misinterpretation. The scriptures have multiple application, but only one correct interpretation and that interpretation is only known by the author. God has chosen to reveal Himself, through angels, His Spirit, and His Son. We have the inspired word, which came by His Spirit, so His Spirit reveals those things necessary to our understanding according to His will and in His time, for our benefit and His glory.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For[a] I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add[b] to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away[c] his part from the Book[d] of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
