I can hardly find words to discribe my outrage at this!!!!United Kingdom DailyTHREE YEAR OLD'S SHOULD BE TAUGHT ABOUT GAY RELATIONSHIPSChildren as young as three should be taught about same-sex relationships in a bid to stamp out homophobia in schools, it was claimed yesterday. The National Union of Teachers, the country's largest teaching union, sparked outrage by demanding that nursery staff help to educate children about gay families. It claims it is too late to wait until youngsters arrive at primary school to learn about the subject because some three-year-olds are already using homophobic language. But critics branded the NUT as "achingly politically correct" and said the proposals were akin to "brain-washing" vulnerable youngsters. The proposal was made yesterday when the NUT published its response to the Department for Education and Skills' Early Years Foundation Stage consultation document. This government report sets out the "early learning goals" which youngsters should be achieving in the first few years of their liveshttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1770

You left off a very vital section of the article. It's important to post the entire article because despite the fact that you posted the link, some people may stop where you left off assuming you posted all there was to read. So, to continue the article...."But the NUT claims that it needs to go further and early years teachers should be given "the skills and tools to challenge racism, sexism and homophobia" and abusive language. The NUT document says: "In the case of homophobia, the use of the word 'gay' is prevalent in primary schools and young boys who are perceived to not conform to masculine stereotypes are at risk of bullying, isolation and social exclusion. "It is too late to wait until primary school to challenge prejudice and intolerant abusive language. "The EYFS curriculum needs to alert early years teachers to their responsibilities to challenge gender stereotypes and to challenge language that is negative or prejudiced." It adds: "It is particularly important to begin to make three to five-year-olds aware of the range of families that exist in the UK today; families with one mum, one mum and dad, two mums, two dads, grandparents, adoptive parents, guardians etc. "There will be parents who are gay or lesbian who will want to be reassured that their children will be safe in the setting. "Many gay parents do not 'come out' to their nursery schools because they fear their children will be bullied as a result of the sexual orientation of their parents. "Now that civil partnerships are legal, nursery settings need to use the curriculum to educate children about all types of families and to promote respect and understanding." But Nick Seaton, of the Campaign for Real Education, branded the demands as "ridiculous". He said: "I very much doubt that three-year-olds will be able to grasp the implications of these things anyway. "Apart from that, even if they do, it seems completely wrong for the state education system to try and brainwash youngsters in this way. "It is achingly politically correct and it's a sad reflection on the direction state education is taking, with the emphasis on teaching politically correct values, rather than worthwhile subjects." Hugh McKinney, of the National Family Campaign, added: "To attach any kind of value judgement to the views and statements of three-year-olds is simply nonsense. "Nobody condones homophobic language but to try and teach impressionable, immature youngsters about issues such as this is simply wrong for their stage of development. "The state system should not be the basis for such teaching until children are older and more able to form their own judgements." A spokeswoman for the NUT last night defended educating very young children about gay relationships. She said: "It's never too early to encourage respect. It's about valuing every child and the relationship they live in and ensuring all children show respect to that relationship as well." The point of the article is NOT to promote homosexuality. It is, as the article states... "to encourage respect" .... and I agree! It is never too early to teach children that not everyone is the same. The Lord commands us to love everyone. Love includes respect. If it is true... ".... some three-year-olds are already using homophobic language." then this is important instruction! Wouldn't you educate or chastise a child against using slurs against blacks or Jews?? I’m both annoyed and saddened when I hear people use hateful words to describe one group but they would not dare use similar words to describe another! Why is it okay to use the word "fag" but not the words nigger or kike. What hypocrisy! A hateful word is a hateful word, regardless to whom it's directed. And such words should NOT be part of a Christians* vocabulary, period!Lyte* Or anyone's vocabulary for that matter.

Leviticus 18: 22 "A man shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female: it is an abomination." Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child up in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it."With that being said, why would anyone want to teach a child about homosexual relations? It has NOTHING to do with respect. If that’s the case then respect my right as a parent to NOT teach my children about their deceptive lifestyle.YES, GOD DOES TELL US TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. I love my cousin that has been living with her girlfriend for several years now. Do I RESPECT her? NO, I don’t. Do I like the decisions she’s made, No, I don’t. Do I think she’s going to teach HER children about the things of God, so they will learn to respect MY children. NO, I don’t.We are to love them with the love of the Lord. Pray for them. But, if they are not open to hearing the TRUTH, there’s not much more you can do, but keep praying.ls

I thought of that verse when reading through this as well Bernie. I think this, sadly enough, is an excellent example of the indoctrination going on in schools. Under the guise of "toleration", it teaches full blown support for the homosexual lifestyle.

And also Romans 1:18-36. It would appear that the entire Western World has been given over to degrading passions. Between us and the Islamic militants, we see the two ways man acts out his sin. Either with Liberal permissivness or with self rigtious fundamtalism. Neither are inaccordance with Gods ways and when Christ returns, both will be judged.

I heard from a preacher/teacher long ago the reasons behind the destruction of Sodom and Gommorah was their sin had become so egregiously vile that even the children were not able to escape the sin of sodomy. The destruction of the cities was to not only protect the future innocents but to keep their behavior from spreading to other cities since they had accepted child rape and instructing children in homosexuality as normal.

I agree that parents should teach their children not to hate people or use hateful language toward homosexuals. Most certainly parents should teach their children not to physically assault anyne. A person can disagree with homosexuality without being hateful towards homosexuals. Too many homosexuals are spoken to with hateful language and are physically assaulted because they're gay. Most of the time the people who say and do such things to homosexuals say they're Christians. Christians, if they're truly Christians, don't physically assaulted anyone and they don't speak hatefully toward anyone either. Christians can speak out against homosexuality without being hateful, certainly without physically assaulting anyone.

How about MT 18:6 "And whomever causes just one of these little ones who believe in me to stuble it would be better for them if a heavy millstonew were hung around thier necks and cast into the sea"
If you're going to cite Scripture, how about being a little more accurate? It dishonors God to be sloppy.

Billy Graham once proclaimed "If God does not judge America, he owes Soddom and Gomorra an oppology! And God NEVER appologises!"
Read my post just above... It applies to non-Scriptural quotes also.

You and your preacher are going beyond what Scripture says. He should know better than to claim that even the children were not able to escape the sin of sodomy and that they had accepted child rape and instructing children in homosexuality as normal. Going beyond God's word weakens the message and opens you up to deserved criticism.

Oy .. again? Romans 1 talks about people who deny the existence of God, even though it has been made clear to them. Using it to crusade against homosexuality opens you up to justly-deserved criticism.

Romans 1:18-23, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of those who by their injustice suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. Ever since the creation of the world God’s eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been seen and understood through the things God has made. So they are without excuse, for though they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles."

This is about people who knew God turning instead to idolatry.

The new world order of things... Satanic, immoral, hedonistic, perverse, and governmental authoritarianism.

What fun.
Obviously you ignore history. The adjectives you use can be describing virtually any point in history.
