Hi veteran,

Could I ask you to look at the entry from Genesius on this page, please, for Strong's number H1964?

http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H1964&t=KJV

I am particularly interested by inclusion of the word 'nave', which is effectively a corridor - a passage towards the altar, where there is an intersection, making the crossing corridors form the shape of a cross. The nave, however, goes from the entrance towards the intersection.

This is reminiscent of Isaiah 35, and Isaiah 62 - 10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; Cast up, cast up the highway ....

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord:
and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace,
and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest,
until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness,
and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness,
and all kings thy glory:
and thou shalt be called by a new name,
which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken;
neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate:
but thou shalt be called Hephzibah,
and thy land Beulah:
for the Lord delighteth in thee,
and thy land shall be married.

It's not about 'the earth' in the sense of 'the land' outside our bodies. WE will be the ones shining. The light of God is in us - if it is.

If the heavenly Jerusalem is on the earth right now, it is because we are. If we are not here, neither will it be.
It seems you've left out what all the Heavenly Jerusalem contains per God's Word. Even within that Scripture you quoted it is clearly associating things of this earth with it. All you need do is read a little further in Isaiah to know the earth is forever and that it is very much a part of God's future Eternal Kingdom to come...

Isa 65:9-10
9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and Mine elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there.
10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for My people that have sought Me.
(KJV)

Isa 65:17-21
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
(KJV)

When Apostle Peter said in 2 Pet.3 that knowing today's heaven and earth is to be disssolved to bring God's new heavens and a new earth in final, and that our conversation should reflect that understanding, then how should we understand anyone telling us different like that new heavens and earth and New Jerusalem has already come today??

In that Isaiah 65:19 verse above, why does our Heavenly Father connect the weeping earthly Jerusalem with His New Jerusalem there if the earth is not involved in the future Heavenly Jerusalem?

Per His Word early on in Genesis 2, God showed us His Abode was upon the earth with His Eden and His River flowing out from it to feed four other rivers upon this earth. Then in Genesis 3 He showed us His Eden being isolated from man and flaming cherubim setup to guard the way to the tree of life. So early on in God's Word we are supposed understand His Heavenly Abode was once upon this very earth, and since the sin in Eden His Abode has been in a place of separation apart from this earth. Yet the idea of His returning back to this earth to dwell with us is a specific revelation given both in Revelation 21 and at the end of Ezekiel 48.

The misunderstanding some have about this is simple. Apostle Paul preached our Faith on Christ Jesus in connection with the idea of the Heavenly Jerusalem, but he never changed what God foretold about its future literal physical establishing upon the earth when it is to come through His OT prophets. Some men simply forget the idea of eternality involving God's Kingdom, that It has always existed and will continue to exist forever, the main difference being that It has moved once (off this earth) but will return again. That again just isn't yet today and is still expecting with Christ's second coming to prepare Its establishing right here on a cleansed earth.

So why do some men instead want to preach that It is here now already, like there's no further need to expect It to manifest? It's because they're preaching the idea of a kingdom 'within you' idea only because of some of the expressions of our Lord Jesus to show how God's Kingdom is still in a separate dimension for this present world time. It will not be separate from the earth in the world to come.

Rev 21:16
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs.
The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
(KJV)

Here is something i found on another website. "To explain the tremendous number of details of ezekiels temple using allegory detracts from a disciplined interpretation of the text".
That's very true. It is also a specific idea God gave Ezekiel to tell the house of Israel.

A Revealing:
Ezek 40:4
4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
(KJV)

Ezek 43:10-11
10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
(KJV)

What's that idea about, IF the house of Israel be ashamed of all that they have done?

Firstly, WHO is this specific "house of Israel" at that time of Ezekiel? By that time, God had already split old Israel into two separate kingdoms, the three tribed "house of Judah" as the southern kingdom, and the "house of Israel" as the northern kingdom of ten tribes. Very important distinction.

By that time of Ezekiel being given this, the "house of Israel" had already been removed captive out of the holy lands to Assyria and the land of the Medes. Ezekiel was in Judah's Babylon captivity at this point, and the remnants of the "house of Israel" (ten tribes) were still near that area north.

Because the "house of Israel" (ten tribes) fell to iniquity of false idol worship prior to Judah, God removed them first. Yet, He gave this Message of the layout of His future Milennium Temple to them IF they felt ashamed of their iniquities they had done against Him, and which He had removed them from the holy land for. So their grasp of this 'layout' was, and still is... dependent upon their feeling ashamed for their abominations against The LORD. In other words, it is STILL in effect for their understanding today also!

OK, now to let the cat out of the bag.

This Message from God through Ezekiel about its layout for today, is especially for the scattered ten lost tribes of Israel among Christ's Church. Marking its "pattern" and layout is very important, mainly because NO MAN, nor any nation on earth, nor any group of nations on earth, will be able to create it. ONLY GOD HIMSELF can, and will.

And the 'goings on' involving it are very, very specific to a time that has not yet been on this earth, not since God removed His River and Tree of Life off the earth with His Abode. Yeah, the layout there is dealing with His Abode too, the River and Tree of Life of Revelation also.

I can't help but feel that understanding that section of Ezekiel was especially planned prophecy for the remnants of the scattered "house of Israel" for the last days, today, especially in light of what the false Jews plan to do in Jerusalem today with rebuilding another temple in Jerusalem and starting up the old covenant style worship again. This Ezekiel 40-48 layout also shows sacrifices going on, which I feel is there to protect this prophecy from those whom it is not given at this time. Many of my Christian brethren will refuse it just because of its mention of sacrifices, thinking it cannot be meant for Christ's future Milennium reign after His return. It's because we know our Lord Jesus became the one Perfect sacrifice for one and all time per the Book of Hebrews. Sorry, that's not enough to reject the prophecy because it specifically shows the manifesting of God's River and the tree of life, on earth (Ezek.47).

So in summary - 'understanding' that Ezekiel 40-48 layout is specifically meant for the scattered remnants of the ten lost tribed "house of Israel", from Ezekiel's day all the way up to Christ's second coming. And it is only for those among the ten lost tribes that understand the false worship their ancestors of the ten tribes fell away to, and also that continued practice to today's time. God said He made Ezekiel a prophet to the "house of Israel" specifically, so the Book of Ezekiel has many prophecies specifically meant for the ten lost tribes of Israel since their scattering all the way to the end of this present world.

Are you still here Veteran?

Ezek 43:10-11
10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.

Show the house
What is the measurement?
What is the fashion?

Why would they be ashamed after they had seen the measurements, ;]

You see sacrifices in Ezekiel's Temple, and a Prince who Judah and Israel appointed as leader. A Prince who has taken on the responsibility of providing the sacrifices himself and the people pay a temple tax.

What does the Prince do on Nissan 14?

What is the measurement of an angel?

Just talking out loud Veteran, I'm just rambling, but on Nissan 14, Shavuot happens, Yom Kippur happens, Sukkot happen right there on Nissan 14, and the Prince offers it for himself, and for the people.

This has only happened on one single day in history, when a bull was offered on Nissan 14.

There is two houses, but Benjamin is within both.
