The two witnesses, are they not the ones who preach the gospel in these last days before the Great terrible day of the LORD?. when was the Gospel preached in the LAST DAYS?. Mark 1:1 "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; 2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee". and we know who that was. now a question, are we in the last days, that's days with an "s" at the end. scripture, Hebrews 1:1 "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds". so we're sure that we're in the LAST DAYS. but the Last days started when the Messiah’s kingdom started. Isaiah said, 2:2 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it". so did the prophet Micah say it 4:1 "But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it".
Here's some meat to chew on, concerning the the Great and terrible day of the LORD. the whole book of Micah. it have all of the wrath of God in it, the mourning, the lamentation, the Prophesy, and the The restoration of the temple. it's all in the book of Micah. and this was done when John, and Jesus came. if that don't convince you of the last day judgment on sin, I don't what will.
