Dear KrissI am still trying to see how those verses in Jeremiah and Hebrews don't refer to the new covenant as being the first coming of Christ. Not sure about Ezekiel either - this seems to be about obeisance of the priesthood (Levis) ordinances, laws and decrees contemporary to the time of Ezekiel and not in the future (Coming of Christ).I am trying hard here - give me a little time:study:

The verse in Hebrews are described in Jeremiah do refer to the new covenant yes but its so much more they also refer to the second coming as does Ez. this is talking about the second coming the millenium. I was trying show you that the second coming is also talked about in the O.T. That there are many unfulfilled prophecies in O.T. The Law is has NEVER been replaced. You must often go to the O.T, to get the type or full explanation for what is being said in the N.T. you must understand them both at times the only way to get a full explanation of whats being said in the N.T. is to go to the O.T.its not just all words that no longer apply. There are many things in the O.T. that are about the second coming you cant just assume because its the O.T. it is about the first coming.Isa, Ez, Dan,Joel, just to name a few are all about our time and the futurejust because we under grace now doesn't void the New Testament

Personally I believe that both Old and New Testaments are important. The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, the New Testament is Old Testament revealed.

I would like to know the general consensus of opinion from Christians about the importance of the Old Testament. My understanding is that the New Testament abrogates the Old.Is that true? Thanks:study:

I know the truth that all that's matters.
If so can you share the truth using chapter and verse only and not just playing on words .
