Here is what he was doing all those years:

Luke 2:40
40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
KJV

And even after he became the age of accountability (12) his only concern was to be doing the work of his Father. He was rich, but he became poor just as we must begin so that we can tear down that old temple/first temple of our worldly idolatrous flesh man and begin building upon a firm foundation which is Christ the Word of God until we to are mature in wisdom and stature as no longer babes on milk, but sons who eat the meat of the Word having full spiritual understanding.

Luke 2:41-3:1
41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

And this is what he was doing between 12 & 30 yrs of age

52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
KJV

Sound familiar? How is your growth in your spiritual rebirth coming?

I thought you will tell something else, that Mary would have informed to you in your dream.

Anyhow, thanks for your effort. Be blessed.

I am sorry to disappoint you Stefen but I would never speak to those who have passed on it is forbidden by God.
It was a bit of tongue in cheek that I posted. Everyone always wants to know what Jesus did before his ministry and I thought it refreshing to know that he did just as we are doing.. hopefully... growing in wisdom and stature and that is all we need to know.
You are so welcome, all glory unto God and blessings to you as well

thanks for the topic, you're on point as to the Child grew, and wax strong in wisdom. the scripture you gave is true,
Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
KJV

but may I add to this.
the missing years of our Lord and Saviour can be found in Isaiah 50:4 & 5 "The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. 5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back". in our Lord early years, he learned. as the scripture states, "he wax strong in spirit". he was taught by the Holy Spirit, GOD. and the same one will teach us today, this is in the new covenant Jeremiah 31:31 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more".

as our Lord was to be a Prophet, and a Apostle. one must be taught, and then sent. so the early years of the Lord Jesus was in training. and about the age 30 he was anointed to preach the Gospel, and to usher in the new covenant. before Jesus, the Gospel was not preached, but only foretold to come.

Hope this helped on the Lord missing years.

Thank you for your additional response to my post 101G
Jesus is the Firstborn the only begotten of God.. yet
We too who remain in the Word are being trained up growing in grace and stature just as Jesus did by the Spirit of truth as we are being formed in the womb of our mother heavenly Jerusalem into the image of Christ (THE SEED OF GOD being His Word), who is hidden under the blood as one being born again by the Spirit to the barren woman who does not have carnal children.
Anyone still led of their carnal flesh who did not do as Jesus did by seeking the Father's Spirit to nourish them in all truth to maturity are NOT the children of God, for we must be led of the Spirit for our understanding of the Word, not man's traditions. Wouldn't you agree?
Isa 54:1
54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
KJV
Gal 4:22-29
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
KJV

2 afaithfulone4u,

Yes, those led by the Spirit are the children of God, supportive scripture, Romans 9:6 "Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed."

and you're on point too, 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise".

and that promise came through Jacob brother to Esau. Romans continue, 9:9 "For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son. 10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; 11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth".

Cain and Abel, Esau and Jacob were sets of twins. Cain and Abel were born in the same pregnancy and yet we understand from scripture that Cain is of the Wicked one while his younger twin brother Abel was not. They are the result/fruit of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Before that spiritually died, God created the children, but after the fall of disobedience, they were given skin and reproductive organs so that Eve would now produce the children in her body in pain for part of her punishment becoming flesh no longer in the image of God for they died to the Spirit once they hid from God after they sinned.

And we see that Esau did not care about his inheritance of the future, he lived for his belly Now.
So he SOLD his birthright to the younger twin Jacob who was willing to struggle with the Word/Lord all night long to receive the Blessing. Just as those who are now being clothed in the Word as the Firstborn who are conscience of our now and future inheritance and are struggling with the Word/Lord to overcome and be The Blessed Seed of Abraham and heirs with the Firstborn. Jacob's mother represents our mother (heavenly Jerusalem) who helped to Clothe the younger/spiritual son in the image of the Firstborn to receive the Blessing as Jacob did.

The firstborn of these were considered those led of their carnal man making them the offspring of the Wicked one who leads us to worship self and things of this world so much that we will deny Christ and be unfaithful to The Word by his spirit and word.
The younger twin represents those born of the Spirit who follow the Word wherever he goes.
Earthly Jerusalem represents the mother of the carnal Jacob/Israel and Heavenly Jerusalem represents the mother of spiritual Jacob/Israel.

Gen 4:1-2
4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
KJV
Heb 12:16-17
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
KJV
Gen 25:33-34
33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
KJV
1 John 3:12
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
KJV
Gen 27:15
15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:
KJV
Gen 27:19-23
19 And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.
20 And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me.
21 And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.
22 And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.
23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.
KJV

Luke 12:40-44
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
KJV
