Veteran said, "Those of us that have had opportunity are without excuse if we refuse Him." How is that promoting the idea of a second chance? Do I need to define "second" for you?
I think you need to read it again... Isa. 29:24. Who murmured in the wilderness... was it the Israelites?
God will give them a second chance by giving them understanding this time and teaching them the
correct doctrine. He will give them "His Doctrine", so this time they can get it right.

If God can give them another chance to get it right... we know by the scriptures, that God is no respecter
of persons, but what He does for one... He does for all.

What a God! What a Plan!

Salvation as characterized in the Old Testament bears a temporal quality. It isn't being saved from sins and going to heaven, it's being saved from one's enemies, having strong armies, a prosperous economy, and the wine presses being full. It's the reason that so many Jews expected Jesus to bring salvation by overthrowing their oppressors.

LOL. And here I thought you were being sarcastic with Veteran.
