In the Old Testament, God has not fully revealedHimself through the Holy Spirit."Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me." (Psalm 51:11).Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said,“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me;in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’ ” (Hebrews 10:5-7)In the New Testament, God has revealed Himself throughour Lord Jesus Christ, making the Holy Spirit one with God."But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,he will teach you all things and bring to your remembranceall that I have said to you." (John 14:26).The Holy Spirit will not speak on His own but what He hears,He will speak."When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come." (John 16:13)"Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go,I will send him to you." (John 16:7)The Lord Jesus rejoices in the Holy SpiritIn that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understandingand revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will."(Luke 10:21)The Holy Spirit dwells in us as well as in our Lord Jesus Christ."and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove;and a voice came from heaven, 'You are my beloved Son;with you I am well pleased.' ” (Luke 3:22)The Holy Spirit will be with us forever"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper,to be with you forever," (John 14:16)Unless we are born of water and Spirit, we will not enter the kingdom.Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit,he cannot enter the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)To have the Spirit is like to have a radio to the Father and Son,except that it is a powerful Entity distinct from the Father and Son.Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."(John 14:23)We do not have one but two spirits."Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own," (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Child or Not?"I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?" (1 Corinthians 3:2-3)"for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. (Hebrews 5:13-14)

A person born of the Spirit moves as if driven by the wind."The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)He works with an eager heart, because he serves the Lord in love, not obligated nor forced to do good works.“This is the covenant that I will make with themafter those days, declares the Lord:I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,” (Hebrews 10:16)
