A Message For Today’s Christians God is raising up His People - a people who are called BY HIS NAME and are UNASHAMED of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ!! Amen?! God shall have His way and His glory shall fill this earth!! OH Praise the Lord, because in this hour, He has and will continue to raise up a remnant that will serve Him in Spirit and Truth. Friendship with the world is enmity with God (James4:4), and there is no room for the world in us as Children of the Almighty God.(Eph 5:8) Let us walk worthy of His Calling upon us(Eph 4:1,Col 1:10,1Thess 2:10) - so that in all things God might get the glory- let all that has breath- praise the Lord!!!(Ps 150:6) What stops us tonight from going on with God? What stops us from just giving ourselves up to God, and yielding our lives to Him tonight?(Heb 12:1) If we ever want to see Revival in this generation, if we ever want to see the Book of Acts lived out in our generation- we really need to find out what is holding us back! People of God, when was the last time, we can honestly say that what breaks God’s heart, actually breaks ours, too? When was the last time that we actually got serious within our prayer life and actually pressed in, spending an hour or two or more- just with God? Or when was the last time we fell face down before God, prostrate, weeping and crying out to God for souls?Mat 16:24--Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. Luke 9:23-- And He said to all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. Becoming a disciple of the Jesus Christ today – is still the same as it was when Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.“ Why is it today, that new converts are told they can profess Jesus is Lord of their lives but they can go on living as though He weren’t? Where has this gospel come from? Paul warns us of another gospel that was being preaching in his day, and it would lead followers of Jesus Christ astray. People of God, I am telling you today, there is another gospel being preached and it breaks the heart of God. Why isn’t it breaking ours? Gal 1:6--- I marvel that you so soon are being moved away from Him who called you into the grace of Christ, to another gospel How do we know there is another gospel out there being taught? When what is being taught teaches us to glorify our members instead of crucifying them (Col 3:5), then that is another gospel. When what is being taught puts our eyes on ourselves, and how we want to feel good- instead of putting our eyes back on Christ, and back on the Cross where Jesus suffered and died because we were poor, wretched sinful and helpless- then another gospel is being preached. (Rom 5:8) If any man lifts himself up so our eyes are on him, instead of Jesus- then I say tonight, that is another gospel! The true Gospel of Jesus Christ will turn our eyes back to the Cross! The true Gospel of Jesus Christ will keep our eyes fixed on HIM and no other shall share His Glory! Gal 5:26--Let us not become glory-seeking… The true Gospels tells us all of our righteousness is as filthy rags- it reminds us that without Him we are nothing and can do nothing!!! Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. The real Gospel teaches that without Christ – we need redemption and salvation- but with Christ we become the righteousness of God! 2Co 5:21--For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. We become joint-heirs with Jesus! Amen! Rom 8:17--And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. We become new creatures(2Cor 5:17), and we no longer live for ourselves. We no longer follow after the ways of the flesh,(Col 3:9) and we no longer give into its sin nature. We come out of the world and we live separated unto God! We cleave to Jesus and we carry our cross and we crucify ourselves and become alive unto God!! That is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what we ought to be striving for!!!Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. People of God, What is it, that is in the world today, that is so fascinating to us? Haven’t we served God half heartedly long enough? Isn’t it time for a great awakening to come within the Body of Christ? A great awakening that will stir us up, and change us tonight? Isn’t it time we came back to our First Love? Isn’t it time we fixed our eyes on Jesus? What do we hold in our lives, right now, that is more precious than Jesus? Do we have room in our lives for more of God? Do we even have a longing for more of Him in our lives? God wants a people who will be broken for Him. God wants a people sold out to Him and His Purposes. God wants a people who will preach His Word unadulterated, not watered down, no ear tickling messages! God wants a people who will walk in unity, and love, praying and encouraging each other. When one is in need, the other will give as God blesses. Isn’t this what the Book of Acts looked like? They turned their world upside down for Christ – I’m asking tonight, in this generation, are we turning our towns, cities or countries upside down for Christ? Are we taking back what the enemy has stolen from us? Are we compelled to go out into the highways and byways and tell the world they are in need of a Saviour? (Luke 14:23) Or is the reason why we don’t do this because we esteem our reputations as being more precious, more costly to us than the reproach of Christ’s Cross? (Hebrews13:13, Hebrews 11:26 How is that we are deceived by vain flatteries? Christ became a reproach for mankind to set us free! If Christ suffered, why do we think we ought not too? Is anyone getting this? Christ suffered at the hand of vile men, he died a reproach to God because He became sin, even though HE KNEW NO SIN! People of God, When are we going to get this into our hearts, that Christ is worthy to receive the rewards of His sufferings! Heb 11:26--Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. This is not a game and it never was! Souls are what Christ died to redeem. Christ suffered and died, and we want to live happy lives and get along with the world? We don’t want to suffer for the Gospel’s sake!! We don’t want to give anything up- why do we need to give anything when we have received Christ as our Saviour? We are Glory-bound, so why do we even care about the world or souls?Mat 10:38--And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. Mat 16:24--Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. Luke 9:23--And He said to all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. That’s why, People of God. I profess to you, the hour is getting late. Many souls stand in the valley of decision. The battle lines are being drawn, and do we know where we stand tonight? Are we a people who will shake off the world tonight, and cleave unto God? Are we a people who will embrace the reproach of His Cross and bare the persecution of Christ, should any come? Joh 15:20 -Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Will we determine we will come back to our First Love? Rev 2:4- Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Will we lay ourselves on the Alter of God and say, “Jesus, here we are, we desire nothing but You. We lay ourselves down on this Alter because this is our reasonable service to You, to become as living sacrifices. Not our will, but Yours be done. We have come to the end of ourselves, it is no longer us that lives, but You, Lord Jesus, lives in us. We give up control of our lives to You, Do with us, Jesus as You desire, because our desire tonight is to serve You no matter what.”(Rom 12:1,Luke 11:2,)Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You and I ask that You seal this message with Your Spirit, let all that read it, be changed and renewed today. Praise to God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, In Jesus Name, Amen._______written by TheLionessEnriching His Kingdom Ministries
