Rev 1:13-16
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
KJV

What color is water? Jesus is the living water and what color is the hottest flame?
Go turn your stove burner on and see what color the flame is and there is your answer.

I think Rev. 1:13-16 describes the supernatural, glorified appearance of Christ, and not how He appeared as a man. I'm expecting a brown-eyed Saviour.

Greetings Theophane,
I don't know nor does anyone know the actual eye color of Jesus as a human nor do we even know what he looked like so hopefully nobody has a picture or statue of any human being calling it an image of Jesus saying it is God, for it is really a man made image as in idolatry and must not be worshipped or thought of as Jesus and especially not God the Father who is Spirit.

However, the Bible tells us the color of his eyes and it says as a flame of fire
Rev 2:18
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
KJV

Are you saying our Lord walked the Earth with feet like fine brass and eyes of flame?
No, I said nobody knows what he looked like in the flesh... we only have a small description of what he looks like in his original body as he had with the Father and that was not my words(feet like fine brass and eyes as a flame of fire), that was directly from the Word of God.

Isn't blue the color natural gas give off, like for our appliances ?

A natural flame would be red wouldn't it ?

Like a camp fire.

I'm not saying that's the color of his eyes, but that's the first thing that came into my mind when I saw the blue circular flames. :)

Maybe they are ever changing eyes...... That would be beautiful. :)

Mary had blue eyes. I think its safe to say Jesus had either blue or brown (most common Jewish colour) eyes. The ''fire'' is figurative. Unless you also assume He spat or had a lisp when He spoke?

Now that is something I never seen in the Bible, that Mary's eyes were blue?, can you point me to that verse so that I can receive it as truth? Yet I am not talking about what color Jesus' eyes were in his natural body for the Bible does not tell us, but in his incorruptible body where it says his eyes were as a flame of fire... a flame of fire is blue.
Yes I understand that his eyes as a flame of fire meant the color figuratively and a flame is blue however when you burn something it can change color due to the materials being burned. His voice as many waters... that is because the Word of God is the living water and those who will be made in his image with also be in his exact image making them many waters... just as when he comes with his holy body of 144,000 he will have many crowns, one for each of his body members shall wear one. That would be silly to think one head could hold many crowns, but I do believe the Stones in a crown represent many titles. But Christ is one with many body members that will rule and reign with him as a son of God being kings and priests a holy nation will be born in one day.
Rev 2:10
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
KJV
Rev 3:11
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
KJV
Rev 12:1
12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
KJV
Rev 14:14
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
KJV
James 1:12
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him
KJV
1 Peter 5:4
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
KJV
Rev 19:12-14
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
KJV

Don't need the bible for the colour of Jesus's or Mary's eyes. Merely a look at the earliest / Catholic portraits. It seems His eyes were brown.

^ True. But it's just when you love someone, you wanna know everything about them. You just start to wonder....

I think his eyes could have been any color while on earth. And in Heaven, who knows lol ! Probably an unknown color to us we have never seen before. :)

We'll see. ;)

Excuse me?... There are no actual photos of Mary or Jesus on this planet.. are you referring to man made images of idolatry?

It is such a simple question so you believe a flame of fire to be any color you think of? It says his eyes are as a flame of fire, now most people picture RED but a flame of fire is blue. It is only when you burn materials that the flames get red or yellow. But blue is the hottest of fires from what I read.

What color is the flame on a candle for Jesus is the Light of the world and is the 4th stick on the Menorah? The Bible says his eyes are as a flame of fire. It is not important what color his eyes or his skin or hair is anyways. I was just seeing how many would realize that a flame is blue and not always red unless it has other things mixed with it.

Flame color varies depending on what you're burning and how hot it is. Color variation within in a flame is caused by uneven temperature. Typically, the hottest part of a flame -- the base -- glows blue, and the cooler parts at the top glow orange or yellow.
