I agree with the feelings expressed and this is why this question bothered me. Jesus tells us to love our enemies and Satan is Jesus and our worst enemy?

I know this thread is old but I don't care....I would like to know why the statement in bold went un-noticed? Or am I misunderstanding?
Perhaps it is merely the manner in which one reads it, such as:Satan is Jesus, and our worst enemy? Or: Satan, is Jesus' and our worst enemy?I also did a double take with the first reading of it
The first reading would indeed be blasphemous. The second reading IMO is the manner in which it was intended.(Jackie D)
As for the OP no we are not to love Satan. Satan is the seat of sin, we are to hate sin, Satan is not flesh and blood he is powers and prinicpalities. Our battle is not with the flesh but with powers and prinicipalities....
