Unlikely. By rejecting parts we become guilty of Rev 22:19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Say someone believes in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, But they dont believe the Bible is really the truth, Can they still be saved under the circumstance they are praying for Jesus to cleanse them and purify them?
We can only believe in Jesus and be saved if we have a revelation of Jesus being Lord from the Holy Spirit 1 Cor 12:3. The Holy Spirit is sent to every Christian to teach them. The Holy Spirit teaches scripture to us. If we believe anything outside of it, then we are not taught by Him. If we are not taught by Him then we are not a Christian.

So the answer is NO. There is no such thing as a Christian who rejects scripture.

Christ is Gods Word made flesh; Gods Word on your bookshelf is not God.

If the book (bible) on the bookshelf is not of God, how do you know that Christ is God's Word made flesh?
That revelation only comes from John 1, but your saying God's Word is not in a book? If the book was not ordained, inspired, and preserved by God, then it is not of God. Thus, "Christ is God's Word made flesh" can only be a false assumption.

Christ came first before the Bible. The Apostles did not have the Bible to guide them. The only scripture they had was the Torah or Old Testament books. It was the Holy Spirit in them that guided them to understand the Old Testament books.

Before Christ, Abraham also did not have any written books. He didn't even have the Torah. The Torah came with Moses. So, although Abraham didn't have any scripture to guide him, it was God who guided him. Abraham was able to hear and speak to God. How that is done is not known. Nevertheless, the story of Abraham was later written many years after his death. So, the Jews had their oral traditions first until someone wrote down these traditions.

Christianity was the same way. Christ told the Apostles to go out and preach the gospel. So, they were out there preaching first. The letters were written later on. These letters were later complied together and became the New Testament books. Therefore, Christianity is much more than the Bible because it didn't start with a book. Christianity is really about Jesus Christ....the living word of God......a Word that came down in the flesh. This event took place before John wrote about it.

Yes, but we know about it in some detail because John did write about it... I just don't agree that the bible is an unnecessary and useless book. Yes, the ministry of Jesus occurred prior to John writing about it, but we would be ignorant of the events if the 4 gospels writers hadn't of recorded them.

Agreed. Devil tactics 101 is for us to disregard scripture. 2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

You need to look closer at those in the bible who heard and spoke to God. Paul, Abraham and Moses. They all had huge callings pertinent to God's will. Nobody needs to receive the ten commandments from God again...as it's already been done. Christ taught from scripture. His disciples taught from scripture adding what He taught. What Jesus taught never contradicted scripture that was before Him. He fulfilled it.

Hence whenever we hear a voice speaking to us we need to test it against scripture. When Moses fell to His knees in God's presence he didnt need to test anything! When Paul got knocked off his horse there was NO doubt. So unless we have a beyond doubt encounter with God, we need to use scripture.

Im curious I ask alot of questions.
It is a contradiction to believe in God and not His inspired Word.
A stumbling block is putting our faith in the uninspired books of men. There have been a lot of books written by men on salvation, Christian living, how to worship God, etc. But there is only one book that we have to follow in order to get to Heaven.

When we put our faith in the writings of men by reading a catechism book, a “book of discipline,” or a creed book, then we have left from knowing the truth.

The Bible teaches us that we have to focus only on God’s Word. In Romans 4:3 there is a question: “What does the Scripture say?”

Forget about the writings of men. Paul said in Romans 3:4, “Let God be true but every man a liar.”

In 2 Peter 1:3 it says that God has given us “all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.”

The Bible is the only inspired way to Heaven. If you believe that and if you take the Bible and do exactly what it says, without human tradition and without adding to or taking away, you can be assured of the truth.

Knowing the Word of God is the only way that we can know we are right with God. Books written by men cannot save. In Matthew 24:35 Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

The Scriptures teach us that the one book that will last forever is the Word of God. The Bible is “all truth,” just as Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would give its writers.

The Bible must be our only guide. Things like the apocrypha, church creeds, and traditions of men will serve to separate us from knowing the truth.
