I am a 16 year old Christian girl and I have always been WHOLLY against homosexuality until I saw this video of a young man speaking about this controversial subject:
Some parts I do not agree on, the parts that involve his personal opinion, but there is no arguing with scripture and that is what he brings to the table. He takes every verse involving homosexuality and finds other verses in the Bible that make homosexuality seem ok. I only say seem because I don't change my views on a subject until I hear both sides THOROUGHLY such as the pro gay side of this argument. He talks for a good hour and I recommend seeing the whole thing before coming to me with answers. Basically, before I make up my mind about homosexuality being wrong or not, I want someone to see this video, listen to the scripture he uses to validate homosexuality, and come and tell me if you know another verse in the Bible that makes his validating verse void (a verse that still makes homsexuality wrong instead of right like he's arguing.)
The reason why I was looking this up is because my best friend has been showing signs of being gay since she was in the 5th grade. She told me in the fifth grade that she was gay and I just thought it was some phase, but apparently it wasn't because things have gotten worse. She has a girlfriend and she spends holidays with her and stuff and we have been communicating every 2 weeks or less through text, but it has become less and less because I am not that comfortable about it. My family have been in the Penecostal Holiness church for their entire life and I know they aren't going to be excepting of that. My parents don't know yet and it's been over a year since I invited her over my house last because of it. It pretty much confirmed her homosexuality once she said she had a girlfriend.
I would also like some feedback on my problem with my friend based on the video you've seen and the scripture you've found making that young man's argument wrong.
