Whose side do you take when you bring accusations
against the brethren? (or the sistern)

Revelation 12:10 NIV
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.

That would be a rare occurrence indeed.
If they are convicted enough to soberly consider their actions, I will be satisfied.

I think the accuser of the brethren refers to Satan. The context seems to show this:

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” (Re 12:9-10 NKJV)

It seems to me that you answered the obvious question, but not the title question.
Most everyone knows who "The Accuser of the Brethren" is. I was counting on that.
The weightier question is who we are working for when we accuse the brethren. (and sistern)

Satan is the accuser of the brethren always has been.It comes from the bible were Satan lamented to God day and night of how unworthy humans are of eternal life.No one on earth has the power to judge anyone it would be pointless - hate the sin not the sinner.I don't lament to God of how unworthy humans are to receive eternal life.Were all in the same boat fighting the same battle.Pick up the sinner don't kick them down and put them in a deeper hole.We are to work for the better of each other not condemn each other to hell that's not the Gospel.

When Jesus entered heaven after his resurrection Satan was vanquished from heaven for ever he can no longer go day and night lamenting to God about humanity.Christ brought peace to heaven.

FWIW: The Hebrew word הַשָּׂטָן, (haSatan, “the Satan”) is transliterated directly in Job as a proper name, but elsewhere in the Hebrew Bible is translated as “the accuser” or “the adversary”. According to NT Wright, in the ancient Hebrew courts, you had the Accuser, the Accuse-ee, and the Judge. The Accuser was like our District Attorney, or (since Wright lives in the UK) what’s called the Director of Public Prosecutions.

An interesting nugget I just had to share.

Who is "the brethren"? Certainly not those who "don't trust the Bible" as you have confessed!
