Democracy

from greek root words:

1. Dem - build, people

2. Cracy - government, rule, authority

Means government of the people. In Jesus time, the Roman Empire used just that and enforced also their own tyrannical rule and enforced Jewish religious practices when it seemed wise to Rome.

A government of the people can have good and corrupt areas just like any government.

That type of government is only as good as the people are. They must be educated to contribute wisely to areas of the government of the people, as the people of the governing authority. An authority over the people they endorse and support.

They become experienced in knowledge and wisdom with learning and application of ideas, concepts learned. On the job training and work. Aged learning from God and/or trial and error, or others passing the skills, knowledge and wisdom, etc.

Latin root words:

Re - again, back

Pub - is a word indicating sexually appropriate in published areas. Such as clothed in society, not sexually explicit. Appropriate as adult representatives of the presented society. Adult, mature Israel and Christian society.

Sort of publishing your works, with honorable name also, publishing with woven, printed clothes, uniform, work, dress and leisure clothing appropriate to represent our lords people.

In a Democracy the majority rules, and changes the laws to suit their political outcome.

This is why Democracies end up being Socialist and Communist.

America is a Constitutional Republic whereby the rights of the people are protected under the Constitution and can not be changed by who is in power.

its not , however a pure democracy as g reece on had .
it is a republic . if we were a pure democracy
THEN the majority vote WOULD WIN EVERY TIME .
but i have seen presidents win WITHOUT the popular vote .
NOW that is because we are a republic with elected senators
and thus the vote comes down to electoral votes . now in the case of the electoral votes
THEY DO almost always go with the MAJORITY VOTE within such state .
But if this were a pure democracy , THE POPULAR VOTE WOULD BE THE DECIDING factor as to WHO SITS THE THRONE
as president .
YES we are a democratic system which is a republic . now on that you are correct my friend .
But now allow me to give us all a reminder .
THE KINGDOM of heaven IS NOT a democracy . WHAT THE KING SAYS GOES . and man dont get a vote
