Man has a GOD-complex from the time of creation.

“For GOD knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like GOD, knowing good and evil. (One of the attractions to rebellion has always been “you will be like GOD”)
*Genesis Ch.3:5

* Genesis Ch.11:1-9
*Revelation Ch.17.

Edward Snowden only touched the surface of what’s yet to come.

Man in general.

Edward Snowden (Google name) is a U.S. government American computer specialist, a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee, and former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor who disclosed top secret NSA documents to several media outlets, initiating the NSA leaks, which reveal operational details of a global surveillance.

Quotes from Snowden: "The NSA has built an infrastructure that allows it to intercept almost everything. With this capability, the vast majority of human communications are automatically ingested without targeting. If I wanted to see your emails or your wife's phone, all I have to do is use intercepts. I can get your emails, passwords, phone records, credit cards.

"I don't want to live in a society that does these sort of things … I do not want to live in a world where everything I do and say is recorded. That is not something I am willing to support or live under."

"You are not even aware of what is possible. The extent of their capabilities is horrifying. We can plant bugs in machines. Once you go on the network, I can identify your machine. You will never be safe whatever protections you put in place."

Reasons for the coming forward: "You see things that may be disturbing. When you see everything you realize that some of these things are abusive. The awareness of wrong-doing builds up. There was not one morning when I woke up [and decided this is it]. It was a natural process.

The GOD-Complex comes from Man wanting to control the masses and creating an environment in the which the people who are in charge maintain an all-knowing - Godlike - omnipotent existence.

We can't stop prophecy or coming events. But we can get even more closer to OUR FATHER and OUR SAVIOR JESUS.
"I am with you always, even to the end of the age." - Matthew Ch.28:20

“For GOD knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like GOD, knowing good and evil. (One of the attractions to rebellion has always been “you will be like GOD”)
*Genesis Ch.3:5

But what a witness Christians could be.. if the government really would checked all our email phone conversations
bank and credit card stuff to see what we Buy.. and if some day they us our belief to persecute us we will know they heard about
Jesus and most times that faith influenced what we said and did..

True Indeed...to despite the mal intent, all good things work together for those who love HIM. Remember, the Roman Empire wasn't destroyed, the gospel was preached and influenced the people from the inside. That's why we still live by Romans influence i.e. the calendar year, the clock - our reckoning of time, etc. Conversion come in. So "if some day they (our present government) see our belief to persecute us we will know they heard about Jesus and most times that faith influenced what we said and did."

In the end OUR LORD has the last Word...

man has an inferiority complex. We think we are responsible for determining Good and Evil, however, based on experience, deep down we know we have zero ability to do so accurately apart from God. Only God can determine absolute Good and Evil -therefore, instead admitting that we were never created for this job, we act like bullies, defending our arbitrary opinions at all costs in an attempt to pass them off as truth. it is called narcissism and apart from God, it is terminal

I agree 1000%.

..."...let GOD be true but every man a liar..."
Roman Ch.3:4
GOD's Word speak for Himself.

To GOD be the glory...

*"Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD...rightly dividing the word of truth." (Study to show yourself approved.)

Man definitely has a god complex. Our free will is basically a choice between pride / selfishness / be god or humilty / selflessness / submit to God. Every non-Christian is hence his own god. Hence atheism, satanism and self enlightenment religions are predictable amongst the unsaved.

'We were never created for this job'?  Are you saying that you are not a Christian who know's God's will? or knowing it you won't share it with your brothers in sin or the unsaved clearly going to hell?

A mortal sin is a mortal sin. There is no way to sugarcoat it. You are confusing narcissisim with love in an attempt to ignore your God given responsibilty to help the lost. James 5:19 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

It was never man's job to determine what is good and what is evil. That job belongs to God. Man's job is to trust God's decision on what He determines to be good and evil. Today, what some people consider a sin is viewed as NOT a sin. After all, it was man who legalized abortion because he thinks it's okay.

Mankind legalized abortion because he is corrupt inside. He knows it. That's why he will have a mouth full of teeth on judgement day. Ever since Adam ate the fruit, mankind has known what good and evil is. The law from Moses simply made it clearer for all. If we had no clue there would not be verses like these:

2 Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

1 Cor 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Phil 12:2 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

1 Cor 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

The first man and woman was not corrupt inside. God created them pure without sin. When they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, then they had sin. Adam and Eve knew good and evil because God told them what it is. For example, it would be bad to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil because it will bring death. God made that rule. Man did not have any say in making that rule. The knowledge to determine what is good and evil belongs only to God. When man tries to act like God, he ends up legalizing abortion because he thinks that is okay. Man now determines that abortion is good and therefore legalized it.

I agree with the underlined, hence I said when they ate the fruit. You need to use some lateral thought. With your reasoning mankind never knew evil until Moses. Then only the Jews knew it. Will all the other people get another chance to accept Jesus / obey God's law? Has God been partial on them and placed them in hell for eternity for reasons other then their sin / rebellion against God / rebellion against His law?

Mankind determines abortion is good because he is so lost in his sin. He has been handed over to a reprobate mind and when being lost on mortal sins becomes the norm, his days on earth are numbered. He senses this! This is the man that will stand before God with a mouth full of teeth. He knows he has defied the Holy Spirit. It takes only ''sanity'' to determine a baby is a precious creation by God. No need for knowledge of God's law on it. Though with God's law there is certainly no debate or confusion on what sin is venial and what sin is mortal.

I never said that mankind never knew evil. As I said, Adam and Eve already knew good and evil even before they ate the forbidden fruit. They knew that it was wrong to eat the forbidden fruit. They knew that it is good to obey God. According to the Holy Bible, the law was already written in their hearts and in their conscience since the beginning. But it's God who determines what is good and evil. God is the only one who determines what is absolute good and absolute evil. Man's role is to trust God and obey His decisions on what God has already determined to be good and evil.

Romans 2:14-14 Indeed when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the requirements of the law are written in on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.

Deep within every human heart, God inscribes what is known as the natural law, a sort of code of moral conduct by which our reason tells us whether something is in conformity with our true human nature (Romans 2:15). All of those things that are not in agreement with our nature we are obviously to avoid because ultimately they will not fulfill us. In other words, they will hinder and possibly destroy the possibility of attaining our true destiny, which is heaven. This should make sense. Would we feed our bodies gasoline when they are made to live on food and water? This same basic principle applies to the moral order of our lives, for we are a people who are a unity of body and soul.

I agree with this 100%. I had to re-read our posts to find why we dis-agreeing :p.

I found this...you said: ''After all, it was man who legalized abortion because he thinks it's okay.'' Man doesn't think it's ok. He knows its wrong. But is so far gone, that he thinks its ok. As you said, the moral code inside / natural law knows that killing a cute innocent / defenseless baby is evil.

Then you said this: '' Adam and Eve knew good and evil because God told them what it is.'' which clashes with the underlined above. Unless you see God telling them at birth, then we not in disagreement.

When I said ''Mankind legalized abortion because he is corrupt inside'' I was referring to mankind who chooses to sin and has allowed sin to corrupt him to a state where abortion is normal.

We are not in disagreement. God has written the laws in the human heart and whatever God says is bad to do (no matter how strange it may seem) is also morally binding. God told Adam and Eve not to eat the forbidden fruit after he created them; therefore, they knew that eating that particular fruit was bad because it was forbidden to them by God.

Oh, man can rationalize what he thinks is good and bad. There are people who say that abortion is wrong BUT it's okay in the case of rape. Abortion is wrong, BUT it's okay if the couple can't afford to have the child because they're living in poverty. Abortion is wrong, BUT the mother is just a teenager herself. They are too many BUTs. Man puts a lot of exception to the rule, making it okay because of this or that.
