I do not want to sound like a know it all,because that is definitely not the case at all,in fact quite the opposite.I believe that God has shown me a few things,mainly thru other christians,as a long time ago I asked Him to show me the truth regarding a few doctrines very popular with the church now.Funny enough though,these teachings were unknown or better said found to be undoctrinal.The first one is the pre trib rapture theory.Read mathew 24 to find out when the rapture occurs.Paul also mentioned it (sorry i forgot where) as occuring on the last trump (7th trumpet).Daniel 9:27 relates to Jesus.Now the antichrist could try and copycat it,but Jesus ended the sacrifices and He confirmed His fathers covenant.God will save a remnant of jews,1/3 I believe,but that does not make them His chosen ones now.The christians are.Abrahams seed are the believers,both jews and gentiles.God in His mercy and loyalty will save a remnant of jews though.There is a verse,I dont know where sorry,but I heard it on a christian show one day,where it mentions that God brings the jews back to Israel in their 'filth',meaning sin condition.Jerusalem is Gods city and he originally place the jews there to fulfill His will,but they rebelled.It still is His chosen city,and satan wants to rule the world from jerusalem.Its the copycat theory again.Just so everyone knows,it was open for anyone in the old testament times to become a jew and follow God.It wasnt just a situation for israelites.I mentioned this b4 so I wont get into it again but the trib is closer to 3 1/2 yrs.I posted a short word on it under a subject very similar to 'how long is the trib', or something to that effect.I believe that if trouble comes,and there is no pre trib rapture and there is no televised,known peace treaty signed by the man of sin,then most christians will say that no this is not the trib and no that is not the mark and so forth.We have had trouble from the beginning of time,so nothing is new there,people are used to wars and problems.But if people are waiting for specific events,and they have not occured,than people will continue to wait for them,disregarding everything else going on.Satan knows this,thats why he has brought in the wrong doctrine.You might say no that cannot be,butI assure you,that the man of sin wont be a horror movie character,in fact quite the opposite.Who do people respect the most today.A religious man,like a pope,a dalai lama,a mother teresa type,maybe even a high level politician.People always say that you cant trust a politician,but they still go and vote,and shake his hand and smile at him.The church today is brainwashed and believes that the ecumenical movement is godly and positive.Christians love to hear a politician say he believes in God.Thats what Bush did.What god are these people talking about,there is no discernment left in most churches.My point being,that many will not realise the man of sin till you are forced to take a mark,and by then you will have no willpower or more importantly faith to say no,as you will be scared to starve to death,or be ostracised or even killed by the facist govt by then.Satan knows this as has planned it,allowed by God,as part of the strong delusion.Be honest with yourselves,people love celebrities of anykind,regardless of their principles

Yes, that is so very true...Too many false doctrines...and the majority of people will not allow God to speak their hearts...They will not listen. They worship Him in vain because of the doctrine of men.Let us not take the Armour off. So many pre rapture, tithing, eternal burning in hell for ever and ever. I dont know of any church that has it all right. The church seems to have the salvation by faith down pretty good. This is the best its going to get, God will have to make all you rocks out there do the talking.Oceanman
It is truly sad that so many churches have decided that the good news of salvation is the end of Gods word and do not teach that it is the beginning of truth. Seems they want to give you the good news take your money and boot one out the door. Fsat food feel good religion of milk toast with no meat of his Word. A sign of the times in which we are in. I agree 100% with both of you. As my signature rings true too. Quite frankly, because of the times we are living. I don't think we will ever find another english bible that is inspired by God.
