I had read that while the early, pre-European natives inhabited southern America, there were differences among tribal areas, cities great with Egyptian and other temple area monuments.

I read that the Incan city was mostly peaceful with farming and livestock as their living ways.

Some other areas decended into warlords, and other religious ways.

There has always been talk about rogue groups of bandits, living outside the cities, hidden a great distance off, thieves, cutthroats and capturing woman and children while hauling them off into the dark. Tribal warriors of the cities going after them to reclaim their people.

There are of course the bible stories also, cliff dwellers of similar dangerous ways as bandits and theives. Hidden below to plains of the cities.

‐----

These days we see people trying to go away from the dangerous 'daring' 'brave' ways like the running of the bulls.

There are videos of bulls let loose in villages, people trying to shut their windows, doors and hide out in their homes.

In the bible, if a bull gored someone it was to be killed and not ate. If it got lose and did it a second time, under Moses' law from God, the owner was killed. We have Jesus' new ways now.

... Somehow I get the feeling I'm not getting the whole story about the bulls running down streets, videos of being gored and trampled.

I hope everyone's gramma survived. Reminds me of elephant stampedes, also dangerous.

A thunderous ground shaking event before the animals emerge too close to the village bakeries. Dishes falling off the walls. Coffee and wines jumping out of peoples hands while raising the cup for a sip.

There is courage to protect and serve. And there are the horse tamers and those farmers that have to work the cattle industry. I don't know what they say about a bull run.

Cheers,

@Raccoon1010

Hmmmm... here are some videos....

The entire Americas prechristianity was a hell hole of rapes, tortures and murders, constant terror and warfare among tribes.

Unworthy History channel on youtube reads the settlers stories of this in North America.

I didn't watch the videos but I think most Westerns pretty much white washed how the Native Americans really were. So that's why most people don't know what really happened.

He reads from the testimonies of the Christian settlers in various regions whom the native indians murdered and terrorized.
There are no noble savages, wild people are wicked lawless ones.

In God's judgement, all the native people came up wanting, they were all judged and the circumstances justified that. Eventually there is a reckoning with God.
Things don't happen without purposes, God makes changes.
God judges the nations.

Genesis 15
After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, “Fear not, Abram. I am thy shield and thy exceeding great reward.”

2 And Abram said, “Lord God, what wilt Thou give me, seeing I go childless and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?”

3 And Abram said, “Behold, to me Thou hast given no seed; and lo, one born in my house is mine heir.”

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, “This shall not be thine heir, but he that shall come forth out of thine own loins shall be thine heir.”

5 And He brought him forth outdoors and said, “Look now toward heaven and count the stars, if thou be able to number them.” And He said unto him, “So shall thy seed be.”

6 And he believed in the Lord; and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

7 And He said unto him, “I am the Lord who brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give thee this land to inherit it.”

8 And he said, “Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?”

9 And He said unto him, “Take Me a heifer of three years old, and a shegoat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”

10 And he took unto Him all these, and divided them in the midst and laid each piece one against another; but the birds divided he not.

11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.

13 And He said unto Abram, “Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years.

14 And also that nation whom they shall serve will I judge, and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried at a good old age.

16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.”

17 And it came to pass that when the sun went down and it was dark, behold, a smoking furnace and a burning lamp passed between those pieces.

18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the River Euphrates:

19 the Kenites and the Kenizzites and the Kadmonites,

20 and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Rephaim,

21 and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”

Good morning,

God finds in regions of peoples like the 12 tribes of Israel, that they can be overrun by dark civilizations, like the dark spirits promote, Sodom and Egypt.

Usually societies desire happy peaceful life, which is what they found in many regions. But dark beliefs and dictators can rule with cruel iron fists.

We find that tribal dissention happens, from reasons. Factions break off and form their own groups that can become dangerous.

The revelation indicates 1/3 follow dark spirits like the serpent. While 2/3 do not.

It's only the flood era where Noah and his family survived. In the end times God pours out his spirit to all tribe nations, all 12 and all earth to save them. He cares and loves his creations and goes to extremes to save them and lead them back to safety.

Many do perish physically as won't or can't change and repent. But lack the faith and belief in the almighty Christ and his father and their powers to forgive and heal mankind.

The Siege of Fort William Henry

The French and Indian War (1754–1763) was a North American conflict between Britain and France, along with their respective Native American allies, that determined control of colonial territories and set the stage for the American Revolution.

The above post is of that movie and book, 'The Last of the Mohicans"

The Last of the Mohicans is a 1992 American epic historical drama war film co-produced and directed by Michael Mann, who co-wrote the screenplay with Christopher Crowe, based on the 1826 novel of the same name by James Fenimore Cooper and its 1936 film adaptation. The film is set in 1757 during the French and Indian War. It stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stowe, and Jodhi May in the leading roles, and features Russell Means, Wes Studi, Eric Schweig, Steven Waddington, Maurice Roëves, and Patrice Chéreau.

The film was released in the United States by 20th Century Fox on September 25, 1992, with Morgan Creek International releasing in other territories. It received generally positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success, grossing $143 million against a $40 million budget. It won the Academy Award for Best Sound, the only Academy Award won by a film directed by Mann to date.[5] It was also nominated for seven BAFTA Awards, including Best Actor in a Leading Role for Day-Lewis, and won Best Cinematography and Best Make-up Artist.

Before any white man set foot in the Americas, the native people warred with each other and committed violent atrocities, wars of expansion and destruction, tortures, rapine, slavery, rape, murders.

I've seen The Last of the Mohicans about three times. Great movie.

There's another movie called Alone Yet Not Alone...true story about two young sisters who were kidnapped by a native American tribe and taken from Eastern Pennsylvania to Ohio. The sisters were separated. The story tells how one sister escaped with a few other captives and made their way through 300 miles through the wilderness to Fort Pitt in Pennsylvania with the native Americans chasing them.

The sisters were Christians. There is a statue of them near Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Tubi app might still have Alone Yet Not Alone... it's free. Tubi still has The Last of the Mohicans.
