The shooter came to kill. The principal took violent action, risking his life to save lives. (He was wounded in the leg, but no one else was shot.)

Question: Can a Christian justify violent personal action to save others or not?

YES!

Hebrews 11

By Faith They Overcame

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who [j]did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.

32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again.

Shooter inspired by Columbine killers, wanted to kill as many as he could.
Glad the Principal took action and save many lives.

In November 2025, Appearing on The Story with Martha MacCallum on Fox News, Kennedy fumed that he might “need bail money” if Schumer keeps blocking Republican efforts to reopen the government.

“God, please give me patience. Because if you give me strength, I’m going to need bail money,” Kennedy quipped.
