I would believe, if Melchizedek, or the actual Shem.... Came to depart this world was in the need of passing the blessing down, in which happened on Abraham...

But... Was Melchizedek even human? Was he an actual Angel?

I am in pretty much agreement that he was probably Shem. The references to his parentage and genealogy were just symbolic as he was a shadow type of Christ.

Giving all these comments a like... Thanks for sharing. I cannot disagree with any of them. Hebrews 7:3, though, makes me wonder greatly... Who was Melchizedek?

It's symbolic. I mean technically Jesus had a mother with a genealogy. The things of Melchizedek are hard to be uttered because we are dull of hearing.

Heb 5:10-11
Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

And seeing Melchizedek has an order... Makes me believe more the blessing came down through Shem.

The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. - Psalm 110:4

Let me enlighten you on a blind spot in your knowledge. When I was young, I heard someone tell me about something, but at the time I didn’t care whether it was true or false because I hadn’t experienced it myself. She told me that she saw two children walk out of a wall, take her hand, and say, “Please come play with us.” She thought they were something like ghosts. Then the two children walked back into the wall.

But it wasn’t until I grew up and experienced it myself—seeing a woman and a man walk out of a wall and pass right in front of me—that I believed what that person had told me all those years ago.

So, Melchizedek is just like that. It is God explaining his origin through different means and methods. He is another priestly order established by God, distinct from the Levitical order.

Melchizedek completed his mission and returned into that wall that separates us from that other world.

Relative to us, he is indeed one without father, without mother, and without genealogy.

Good point!

Therefore Melchizedek is Shem is 'false' and is just a Jewish tradition rather than the All Scripture=Holy Bible of GOD.

Even the man led by the Holy Ghost to write the letter to the Hebrews, did not receive the revelation to the genealogy of King and high priest Melchizedek.

A mysterious person and character in the Holy Bible, probably the first high priest of GOD before Moses and during Abraham's time.

Good point again, since Levi was not born yet, and that order came later after when the Law was given and made by Moses with Israel.

How does that fit with the bible telling us who Sherm's father was (Noah), and although his mother, Noah's wife is not named, we are not told that he (unlike Ham and Japheth) just appeared miraculously without a mother. We are also told the names of his children:

Even to the 12 tribes of Israel, blessed as 'the apple of GOD's eye'.

And salvation by the Gospel to the Gentiles came from blessed Israel.

Christ referred to them as children who ate at the table of the Kingdom of GOD, and while Gentiles got the privilege to eat the crumbs that fell from their table.

Also Christ said they're gods to whom the word of GOD came

From what Scripture tells us, that is not clear, in my view. I have read of some who say that Melchizedek was a theophany or Christophany. Others say that he was a human priest. So my answer to your question, I'm afraid, is, "I don't know." Sorry.

Scripturally we read his interaction with Abraham was like a man high priest of GOD, whom GOD sent to bless Abraham as high priest of GOD at that time.

And in return Abraham gave a tenth of his spoils of war to Melchizedek, since also the Levitical priests to the high priests lived of the tenth given by the 11 tribes.

If it was Christophany, false, because Christ is Great High Priest after the line of Melchizedek, and not Levi.

If he was theophany, it would be of Heathen's deities in the form of man and woman, deceived by satan and the fallen angles which followed him.

Not tangible to the scripture and doctrine, as angels were messenger or ministers of the word of GOD compared to ordained man priests or high priests.

As for Jacob (even Abraham) is exceptional, since the angel who wrestle with him and blessed him at the end for one was the Lord Himself, and who was the Word then.

This is what am able to discern scripturally, doctrinally and in the spirit, shalom in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.

That my friend was , and IS , a real good question . That ruled out shem real quickly .
Shem had a mother whose name i know not and a father named noah .
Without beginning . shem , like all created beings had a beginning .
Now its true that HE who was since before all that was created even was and that by HIM were all things created ,
HE did take on human form . But that HE did for our sake . JESUS CHRIST the GLORIOUS KING
did all that was required of and by GOD for to reconcile us b ack TO GOD .
TO bring life to the dead , to save us and to create a new heart within the sheep .
But again that was a real good reminder my friend . That surely does rule out shem . I also notice
the writer said according to jewish tradition . I say lets learn The BIBLE that was inspired BY he who created
all , both jew and gentile and all things . Pretty simple my friend .
