Tick tock, tick tock. The eyes of some have been opened, more will follow. The earth is rumbling in a voice too low to hear. Creation groans and labors, but will it bring forth nothing but wind?
A new Showtime series starts tonight called "years of living dangerously" and appears to be more finger pointing on the cause of the Earth's travail. Even the unbelievers see it, but are unable to comprehend what it means and in their unbelief they seek to lay blame upon the works of men in their callous disregard for our world. In this they actually speak some measure of truth, though they give men more credit than creatures born of the ground deserve. If they can see where things are going, shouldn't the church?

Maybe you didn't read the below; or don't agree1

When the Apostle Paul was writing to the churches he had started regarding the Body of The Lord, and behaviour in general; the dating was pre. AD 61-2.
This was prior to the final rejection of by Jewry of Jesus as their Messiah!
The expectation was that Christ Jesus would return soon, at that date!
Due to the Sanhedrin's and Jewry's generally rejection (see Acts 25-28) ; the Great Apostle turned to the Gentiles!
The return of Christ became delayed; and Paul wrote seven more Letters during his Rome imprisonment: Eph.; Phill.; Col.; Titus; Phil.;1-2 Tim.
Paul knew that because of the rejection of Jesus, His return was then to be delayed, and his last 7 letters were couched to cater for the yet incomplete Body of Christ; which are different in emphasis to his first 7 letters.
That condition still prevails, the Body is still in formation until "the number of the Gentiles is made up".
The present "Age of Grace" is also the "time of the Gentiles" and has been running since Acts 28:28!
At the present time, the Jews are" Lo-Amm"i (see Hos.1-2); and have yet to become "Ammi"again, (probably soon)!
The reason for this preamble, is to emphasis that prophets in the mode of the OT are no longer are valid or in existence IMO, and that all the prophecies regarding Israel are complete in the Word; but not completed!

Regarding prophecy in this time, IMO there is none; all the information we need is in the Scriptures.

A further point is the fact that "the eyes" are in the Head; and that is the Lord Himself.
That is why when the Body of the Lord is complete, the "times of the Gentile" will be over; and the "Day of the Lord" will start; (Rev.1:10).

I read it, I just don't believe it for a second. Men have reasoned away the promises of God as to make them of no effect, but in this they neglect the fact that the promises aren't kept by men, but by God.
"These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will reprove you, And set them in order before your eyes." Psalms 50:21

I wouldn't worry about it, but while I believe that all things are fulfilled in Christ, that doesn't mean that the Lord's promises to Israel as a nation have been somehow annulled or voided. Christ is King of the Jews, even if the majority of them still reject Him. If you recall, King David was anointed as a boy, served under Saul, lived in exile, and still wasn't received by all Israel as King even after the death of Saul, yet now he is remembered as their great king. The church doesn't need to be overly concerned with the future of Israel in the sense that the land of Israel was never promised to us as an inheritance; Jesus is our inheritance and our great reward. Israel was promised a time of rest in the land that they were given according to God's promise. They were promised a final restoration and this is coming very soon, but there will be some evil days between now and then.

I assure you Michael I am not "worried"; I am attempting to see what our differences are; as we seem to be in line?
I know your above; but still am not aware what you say are our differences?
If you read www.revelationsmessage.co.uk you should see our alliance!

Maybe we don't. I might've responded to something quoted by you and originally posted by someone else. I do that sometimes as more individuals get involved in the topic and some chime in just to state their unbelief and give their reasons for such a stance, as though that somehow contributed to the thread. It doesn't help that my attention span gets shorter and shorter as church dogma gets introduced as "proof" behind an opposing argument. Or maybe its just a lack of sufficient sleep on my part. I don't particularly enjoy apologetics, nor do I care much for argument in general. The Lord called me to proclaim His word (and sometimes preach it) but I haven't much patience for wrangling over interpretations, especially when feeling a sense of urgency about the message.
I did take a look at the link that you provided in the quote and find it sensible. I believe that I may have responded to a false perception that I had when reading about "ages" such as the church age, a term that I'd encountered in a small group class quite a few years ago, which covered the topic of dispensationalism (which to me appeared to be covert racism.) My own belief, simply stated, is that Old Testament Saints were saved in the same manner as men are now, by God's grace and through faith, the former looking forward to the coming of the Holy One, the latter looking back to Christ's appearing. I'm not sure that it's appropriate to separate the church from Israel (as some do) because the church has a place in Israel's future as an integral part of Christ's kingdom (we serve Him who is promised the throne of David and will be received as the King of Israel when He returns in glory.) I can't go beyond what the scripture says, but it does speak of the gathering and restoration of Israel in terms which suggest that this is a part of the function of the "Gentile" church.
This is getting way off topic and my head is reeling from the allergy symptoms that my med.s don't appear to have any affect upon, so I'll quit here. You have my apologies for my own knee jerk reactions, I'm trusting that your forgiveness will be forthcoming. I think that I may have to give up my attempt to contribute anything useful to these forums, until the affects of the season have passed, but I trust that the Lord can use my own feeble attempts at communication with power as His power is manifested in our weakness.

Nothing to forgive Michael; We are on the same page I assure you.
There are many small differences of opinion on many subjects in Scripture with many people; but I can easily see your love for the Word and its Truth; which is why I was sure we are in line together.
Thanks for replying, and recover soon!
