In the first part he is just walking around. After the four minute mark on the video, the action starts. I guess the FBI enhanced this video.

look closely at time 4:05 to 4:25. upper left part of the video frame
There is a dog and handler comes up to the double doorway where the attacker walked into and runs out from
When shooter enters and exits, I don't see the door open. One door is open the whole time.

Shooter walks in and the dog and handler are following the shooter close behind, less than 6 feet behind the shooter.

The dog sniffs at the doorway, enters the doorway to a room or hallway where shooter just walked into and handler's arm lifts up twice to pull the dog away and they turn away and walk down the hall away from the checkpoint. The handler signals to the dog lets go, while dog is interested in something in the room or hall, the shooter actually the dog is following, the shooter entered moments before and the dog follows him in..

Dog is likely smelling the man and perhaps his guns. In just seconds, shooter is seen sprinting out the doorway to the checkpoint.

Right there is the first encounter with the armed shooter, but the handler does not recognize anything amiss.
The shooter was in the hall and seen by both handler and dog or the shooter entered an adjacent doorway or that is some kind of room the shooter had entered and hid.

Also this shooter is walking in empty corridors and rooms during the video which seems suspicious. Where is everyone?

Right there is a missed opportunity with the dog and handler to have stopped the potential assassin before assassin shot the officer on his sprint past checkpoint.

The dog was more aware of the situation than the dog handler who thought nothing was amiss.

Just now found this on it
Dogs can smell guns, I am surprised dog did not alert more strongly
Dog followed this would be killer closely withing feet of him.
Don't blame dog, blame person controlling the dog.

“The dog obviously knew something was going on and for whatever reason his handler pulled him away,” said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch. His group has slammed security lapses like protesters who accosted President Trump during a lunch outing last year. It sued for documents from the 2024 assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pa.

Allen “probably had the shotgun at the very moment and the dog was onto him. Did the handler see that there was something there? I don’t think by any stretch can this be seen as anything other than a failure by the Secret Service to secure the area around the president,” Fitton said.

Yes dog did try to alert his handler it seems.

Yes dog did try to alert his handler it seems.

Yes, but dog did not bark, growl or show any aggression towards the assassin.
Which a trained police dog can do. I think it is the oddest part of the video, dog and handle walking just feet behind the perpetrator.

Look at 27 to 35 seconds top of video, security agents are running away, fleeing the shooting. One falls down over themselves.
Look at how the remaiing agents stood their ground and stopped the attacker, they were brave.

I had read some criticism of them that cowered in fear.

watch 4:00 to 4:35
4:26 mark, looks like 2 women and one guy, recoiling, then running away, one trips over their feet, even after the attacker was neutralized.
The remaining two bravely stood their ground stopping the attacker. What if all had acted like those other three?
Two people stopped a certain tragedy of bloody carnage and perhaps multiple murders.

They definitely alerted the entire rest of the security team to the immediate threat.

What could have happened if the shooter had gotten to the room with the POTUS and others

God did not allow it to happen, or lots of people would have been shot and or killed.

However this storyline seems at odds with the other video unless the man walking ahead of the dog was not Cole Allen?
