Do you hunger and thirst?

Can you remember when you were first saved and you had this hunger and thirst for God that seemed to deep it ached? That groaning in your spirit for him? how you didn't just read the word you devoured it? Tell me do you still have this to this day? or has your hunger and thirst been quenched? Do you long to have that spark ignited in you again? do you long to be so driven to seek and know God that it is as if it is torture?

We do have seasons when we grow cold or when we become dry everyone does but is it enough for you to simply believe or do you refuse to accept just an ordinary kind of faith and relationship with him? Where is the fire? where is the life? where is that drive with abandon?
I long to see a generation where their hearts desire him and seek him with ever fiber of their being every cell in their body crying out for him to see eyes ablaze spirits engulfing their surroundings a light shining like a brilliant sun

These days being a Christian has settled to being a merely a title a title of their faith or doctrine I have been to many churches many Christian forums some are good and alive but most are not. I do not say this to judge but to remind us all including me that our hearts to beat again for him our souls need to cry out for him with everything in us our worship needs to be alive with life and power. I was reminded of this yesterday when I was worshipping God and my body began to dance and jump on it's own the life that flowed and the power I felt was beyond words.

Some of you know what I speak of some have known it and still do to this day others may have known in the past but have grown cold in it having the memory or head knowledge of it but no longer living in it. Let me see that spark in you let me see that passion that fire that unyeidling desire for him let me see a generation that stands in the face of satan and rebukes him with power and authority in Christ let me see a children who march in the streets singing and worshipping God with all his glory surrounding them

We live in an age where we can communicate by the click of a mouse so why then are we all not spreading the joy and love of God and for him?
How many threads do you see that speak of these things? how many posts do you that make the spirit flow from one person to another like a disease? Can you not feel the emptiness? the lacking of something more? does the spirit not sing unto? remember who you once were and steal it back from the enemy make that fire burn once more let the hunger and thirst overtake you don't just read the word devour it

I know what you mean. I'm always wanting more of Him and those "deep things of God." 1 Cor. 2:9-10. And He teaches me new things, which always makes me want more, never satisfied.

That is so fantastic to hear my friend he is truly something else isn't he? The first time he allowed me access to the ocean that is his heart I was just beyong stunned I was so amazed I actually couldn't even move or speak for a while I just basked in the love and power and glory and awesomeness of him and boy did my heart melt for him.

There is a special place in his heart for those who would hunger and thirst for him desperately they are never satisfied always wanting more but the things he reveals to them the secrets of heaven the love he pours out to them they are the greatest treasures we could ever hope for

When you reach a certain level with him you suddenly know him his personality his traits even his laughter and gates of heaven burst open to you, which is why I am confused as to why a lot of Christians do not know or experience this with him. If anyone gets even a taste of him like they would never be the same it would be an endless chase after like a hungry lion it would blossom in their hearts and souls the fire that burns within would never go out

The deep things of God are actually the very simple things we're called to obey with childlike faith. Personally, I find the so-called "deep things of God" are actually the deep things of man.

Yes, we have such a close relationship and I know what you mean about His laughter. When I had pets I would go outside to call my cat to come inside before I went to bed. I would call and call and call and no sign of her. Then God would laugh and say in a sing-song way, "I know where she is." And I'd stop dead, laugh and say, "Of course you do." Thank you. Please tell her to come home, and I'd walk back to the door and when I walked in the cat would be right at my heels.

and you are not alone on that my friend . I have found the exact same thing to be true .
These so c alled deeper mysteries of GOD sure seem to contradict His words . This sheep wont eat of that table either .

i can when i see them . for example often when one says
such a thing and then speaks of his or her experience and what it has led them to Believe
i see two key problems . While not always does the experience itself contradict experiences some recieved
of GOD . meaning perhaps an angel appeared , or a vision or etc

I mean , YES angels did appear to men in even the old test .

WHEN visions of everyones loved ones being in heaven are preached , YOU GOTS PROBLEMS indeed .
NOt to mention we now live in the absolute worst age of inquity i ever seen .
YET HOW COME anytime i hear some kind of prophecy
some kind of coming vision
THE messenger and the message HAS SQUAT TO DO with repentance , correction , NOR pointing to JESUS
IT seems more about messages of peace , of unity , of yes even monies an detc .
ITS ALL A DELSUOIN and many seem to love these voices . WELL NOT THIS SHEEP . it is contrary to HOW GOD DID things
and DO things and to HIS WORD and HIS WORDS . so i wont be heeding such lips , no not for a second will i heed such lips .

What were they doing .
Preaching SMOOTH things , hollering away with the holy one of israel
and THEY were prophesying PEACE , WE SHALL HAVE PEACE . YET SUDDEN DESTRUCTION was what came upon them .
THIS WILL BE NO DIFFERENT . ONLY IT WILL bE WORLD WIDE .
For this people have chosen to worship GOD IN vain by the precepts and doctriens of men and what men consider love
And yet lead this people only into greater and greater rebellion against THE VERY GOD who could have saved them
WITH a LIE . a PROMISE OF A LIE . A LIE of anti christ and all that is of the darkness .
A LIE that says ALL RELIGOINS SERVE THE SAME GOD and hey that god of theirs sure seems to be accpeting OF SINS TOO .

I have found that my experiences have confirmed His word, that is why I was confused by your statement. For instance, when I physically felt a "heaviness" lift out of my body when I was born again, that is the "circumcision without hands" of Col. 2, when Jesus removes the SIN from our old man or sin nature, making it clean or replacing it altogether. And "what" was circumcised was my nature. And my inside nature consists of my spirit and soul - not the body, that many are confused by thinking we can never be free from sin in this lifetime because our body is still alive. In circumcision, that would mean the whole member would be cut off, not just the sin. See how messed up their theory is?

Re explain please .
IF you mean to say that when we were born again given a new nature
within us that is very true . While still our flesh exists . still true .
I once lived by the flesh and followed the carnal nature . Certain sins i didnt even see as sin .
But when the new life came , came new desires . Those desires I found TO BE PLEASING UNTO GOD
And now the sin i once embraced i hated . Yes a change sure did occur all right .
But many mess things up . Often i have heard creatures speaking and implying
That if one did sin , say they commit fornication , THEY then say ITS NOT ME doing it its the sin in my flesh .
That be a fat whopper that is only a partial truth . Oh they right about its their flesh sinning
BUT THEY ARE IN OBEIDANCE TO THAT FLESH and do act out ITS SIN . THUS THEY TRANGRESS .
However to say there is no contrary thoughts is not true . THOSE
same wicked and lustful thoughts the flesh produced when i was the old man
OH it surely do pop such THOUGHTS into my mind , BUT NOW HOLY SPIRIT alarm bells DO RING
with a warning that says , CEASE to entertain those flesh produced thoughts . DO THAT MAKE SENSE .
I Hope so . cause anyone who says WHEN one is comitting a sin , OH ITS NOT ME
NO it is them . What one means to say is
IF a THOUGHT is being popped into our heads by the flesh , THAT BE THE F ELSH .
CHOOSE YE ALWAYS to heed the SPIRIT and ye will not act OUT the lust that surely becometh sin .
Many messed up romans seven . OH but they did . acting like if a born again christian
is even in the act of lying with a man wife, OH ITS NOT THEM SINNING . OH BUT IT IS .

Ignorant church fathers thought we could never be free from sin because our body was still alive, because they thought "the flesh" was our body of muscles and organs. But Paul refers to "the flesh" in a two different manners. Therefore, the context is important. The second meaning, Paul meant our nature inside. That "flesh" means "carnality." This is why we must be born again. Our nature needed to be born again where sin is produced. Our body is NOT where sin is produced. Our body is like a floppy puppet, but NOT the puppet master. Romans 8:8-9 demonstrates this inner nature and referred to as "the flesh." And to be sure we would understand the difference, (or to some it may have confused the issue) Paul follows with verse 10 about the "other" flesh, our body that still must die, but the nature already has died and been born again. In Romans 6 Paul calls the sin nature, "the old man." It has been crucified - for a born again Christian that is past tense. For a fake Christian it still must be crucified and born again, resurrected free from sin NOW. We don't have to wait until be die to be free from sin. Understand?

8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
