Hi everyone, I thought we could agree in prayer for a local mental hospital. There is a mental hospital called Philhaven in Mount Gretna, PA about 30 miles from where I live. They are a Christian organization, many of the employees are committed Christians and the staff in the psych ward are encouraged to share Christ with the patients. The atmosphere there is much better than the secular mental hospitals, the staff at Philhaven take the attitude that there is hope for everyone due to Christ, while the secular hospitals basically say you are toast without massive doses of medication. There is word out that if you ever have to be hospitalized with mental illness you should go to Philhaven versus the other hospitals as it is much nicer and the atmosphere is better. I have been down there several times, I had a friend that was inpatient there and I visited him so I know what it is like inside the ward. There is still a very evil presence on the campus and especially in the ward, I thought we could agree in prayer for the hospital.
Lord God we agree right now for Your intervention in the situation at the Philhaven hospital, we pray for a miracle healing of all patients that come through the hospital from all mental illness, we also pray for salvation for all patients that come through. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses to treat each patient and that You would give them wisdom to share Christ with the patients. We plead Your blood over the Philhaven campus and over the ward and over all patients and employees, we pray that any evil presence on the campus and in the ward would go right now! We break the power of the enemy over Philhaven and over the ward in the name of Jesus! We claim Philhaven and all patients and employees for the kingdom of God in the name of Jesus! We take authority over all evil spirits on the campus and in the ward in the name of Jesus and we rebuke all evil spirits, we bind them, and we command them to GET OUT in the name of Jesus! We release angels on the campus and in the ward in the name of Jesus! Thank You God!
