After reading @Angelina testimony about her step father I was reminded of a similar thing that happened to me.
I found a lump in my breast and because that was what caused my mum's death at just 66 I was a bit concerned. I was a relatively new Christian at the time and was a member of a lovely Anglican church.
A short while before I found the lump our vicar had started to hold healing services, so at the next one I went forward for prayer. I didn't receive a healing but what I did receive was peace, which considering that I'd watched my mum go through everything, was remarkable.
Anyway I was duly admitted to hospital for surgery. My husband was with me and after I undressed and got into the bed he prayed for me again before he left to go get our little boy from the friend who'd been minding him. I was prepped and the surgeon came to see me before the operation. He felt for the lump but couldn't find it and i was told to go home. I'd been there less than two hours so when I phoned my friend to tell my husband Ray the good news there was loud cheering.
To feel God's touch on my life like that was truly awesome and humbling. He is wonderful.
