I have made an idol of the Lord because I say He never sinned--?

No one is saying otherwise. You changed the subject from lying to sinning.

Do you hear yourself?
You are the one speaking. Do you hear yourself?
And you think I shouldn't avoid you..?
You confessed what you wrote seemed harsh. That's different than writing nothing at all.

What we see here is you changing the subject under discussion in an attempt to not have your thoughts betray you.

How is it false? You and the ot her poster are the ones that are falsely claiming fiction makes the content a lie.
now if i went about saying you did something you did not , would i be telling truth or a lie .
Sure its fiction . but sure fiction is often laced with lies .
THAT IS HOW IT BE FALSE .
for instance if someone put on a show a person playing JESUS .
and then that JESUS seen perhaps a homosexual and then said HEY dont judge
God is fine with that . YOU GONNA tell me that aint a lie . SURE you would .
But these others lies you seem to have no problem with .
I am waiting for a time to come up in that show
where THEY show John and the other apostel , saying to JESUS
hey we forbid a mean to do miracles and teach because he followed not us
AND THEN they take that out of text
and show perhaps other religoins , or those WHO DONT EVEN BELEIVE ON JESUS .
This show is bad news dude .
Kinda funny how you seem to love it . YOU dont seem to love the truth in scrips , however
i have brought to expose a false gospel . You sure you have not already bought into the lie
the LIE of abraham peace accords that says THE JEW , THE MUSLIM , THE CHRISTAIN all serve the same GOD differently .
And if you bothered to see their interfaith interereligious dialgoue
you had seen that list grow to ALL religoins as well . YOU probably already beleive
a key Powerful LIE
that GOD has a plan for world peace and that THIS plan of GODS
IS the ecumeincal interfaith T RUMP supported an oh yeah POPE LED an liberal left .
You like that jesus that god huh . probably because it wont expose certain sins , as in yours and others
and always says judge not correct not , WELL UNLESS someone comes in with a bible ., THEN FIRE AWAY and get that hater
out of there .

Was the girl dead or sleeping?

I have answered this.
There's a difference between an answer and a non-responsive reply. It's a simple question. Is the girl dead or not dead? What verse is the lie, 52 or 53?

Luke 8:49-53
49 While he was still speaking, someone from the ruler's house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more.”
50 But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
51 And when he came to the house, he allowed no one to enter with him, except Peter and John and James, and the father and mother of the child.
52 And all were weeping and mourning for her, but he said, “Do not weep, for she is not dead but sleeping.”
53 And they laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.

talk about a delusion .
Of course verse fifty two is true
and what they did in verse fifty three , they did say it .
THIS is not a contradiction in that bible .
It would be like me saying
HEY there is a flowing river . yep i said it
then another saying that its not flowing , yeah they said it too .
YET YOU , lie down in sackclothe and ash , TRY and make it seem LIKE JESUS WAS LYING .
YOU LIE DOWN in sackclothe and ash THIS instant .
Implying error in the bible . PLEASE .
ITs okay for wrangler to call the words of JESUS a lie
but i challenge anyone to tell him his beloved TRUMP might lie . HECK NOT he will DEFEND HIS TRUMP .
but not so much the bible . YEAH . I am on to you wrangler . I am on to you . SACKCLOTHE and ASH
and pray and beg the LORD for forgiveness .

many people treat their pastor as though his words are teh WORDS of GOD . and even when such pastor
contradicts the written words of scrips , IT becomes THUS SAYETH the PASTOR they heed , but do so as thou its THUS SAYETH THE LORD .
now many do this also with their politicains and other things .
As beleive me i seen this on this site as well .
ITS OKAY to shred truths in the bible ,
ITS okay to say there are lies in that bible
BUT DONT you dare , lest ye want to DIE and face the wrath of GOD , speak a word one against MY PRESIDENT .
yeah i see where this people is headed
and the only way to sum it up is to say , ITS A ROLLER COASTER of a ride that is fast picking up speed
but has no idea that just around the TURN is a big ole ten ton iron bridge loaded with TNT.

Didn't think so for the answer pierces the IDOLATRY on display.
It's a Complex Question, which is a logical fallacy, that's why there is no answer to it.

Have you stopped beating your wife? It's along those lines. It assumes "facts not in evidence" for an answer. Yes, I've stopped beating my wife. No, I've not stopped beating my wife. Either way, it assumes you are a wife beater. If you are not, there is no answer, therefore, the fallacy.

I answered this already. You ignored it. I am not going to give more time to this nonsense. It's been 2 years. I've admonished you multiple times- now I avoid. Reply again and you will be ignored.
Titus 3:10-11
Reject a divisive man after a first and second admonition, / knowing that such a man is corrupt and sinful; he is self-condemned.

It sounds like you know everything there is to know about life in the 4,000+ years covered in the Bible ... I am 80 and still learning.

A personal relationship is based on love ... and love means you are interested in everything about the other one.

I have never made such a claim.
I do know how much and often I read, study and have a Conversation with the Lord for His Wisdom and understanding of such things.
Of course the knowledge and understanding is never ending.

God bless you.

Glory to God,
Taken

Staggering projection! This thread is about the only multi-season show about Jesus and the Apostles and is the most successful portrayal of Jesus on film of all time, bringing millions to Christ, becoming a world wide phenomena.

Are you following Philippians 4:8, whatever is noble and good, focus on these things OR are you being the divisive one making one nasty (harsh or unnecessarily hostile) post after another?

——————————————————————
AI. How successful is The Chosen compared to other shows about Jesus?

The Chosen is unusually successful for a Jesus-centered show, and by several measures it is the most successful one ever made. It has reached more than 300 million viewers in over 175 countries and is described as having nearly a billion episode views, which no biblical series has come close to matching.[deseret]
Why it stands out
Compared with earlier Jesus films and miniseries like Jesus of Nazareth or The Greatest Story Ever Told, The Chosen has had far broader modern reach because it is a multi-season series, not a one-off movie, and because it was built for streaming and direct fan support. Its crowdfunding was also exceptional: BBC reported nearly $100 million raised from fans across four seasons, making it one of the most successful crowdfunded entertainment projects ever.[bbc +1]
Compared with other Jesus stories
Earlier Jesus-centered titles could be culturally important or critically respected, but they usually did not combine all the ingredients The Chosen has: recurring seasons, a large global streaming audience, theatrical releases, and major fan financing. The BBC noted that previous Jesus productions existed, but The Chosen was the first long-form series that could deeply develop characters and backstories over time. That format helped it feel different from earlier adaptations that were typically limited to a single film or miniseries.[bbc +1]
A fair comparison
On raw popularity and scale, The Chosen is ahead of other shows or films about Jesus by a wide margin. On cultural prestige, it has been more mixed: mainstream criticism has been limited, and some reviews call it effective without labeling it a top-tier prestige drama. So the cleanest answer is that The Chosen is probably the most commercially and globally successful Jesus series ever, even if not everyone sees it as the best critically.

You don’t know what you are talking about. Exposing an implied premise by question is not a complex question.
A complex question assumes something as true, which is what makes it a fallacy.

If you want to "expose" a premise, ask a direct question, not a logical fallacy.

No one said that.
They don't see the world like we do, they don't see Christ like we do. Its all about the rules, the doctrines and the dogmas etc. If Jesus passed them on the street they probably wouldn't even recognize Him. If He preached in their churches, they would run Him out the door and down to the edge of the nearest cliff. The healthy need no physician. He came not to call the righteous, but sinners (like you and me) to repentance.

"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me."

"So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jona, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jona, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep."

There are those among us who feel that they need no repentance, or that they have repented once for all, as though its done deal, they now no longer sin. Well praise God for them.

I on the other hand, would think that I had died and gone to heaven, should the day ever come that I kneel before my Father with nothing at all to repent of.

Those who are forgiven much, love much.

This is how you try to justify your fondness for irreverent portrayals of Jesus and distortions of the gospel in The Chosen?

When you say “we” you refer to yourself and a person who claims that Jesus lied multiple times.

I look forward to watching your production of how it is properly to be done. How you justify condemnation of Christian artists who brought millions to Christ shows @RedLetterJoe is right that it is for people like you all about rules, the doctrines and the dogmas and never allowing a joyous moment be shared with our Savior (for fear it be deemed "irreverent").

While we are commanded to follow Christ, your IDOL makes him unapproachable.

"Sleep" is a state from which one can be roused. "Dead" is dead and is permanent. Indeed, which one was the truth?

In the NT, the word sleep is used for "taking of rest in sleep" as well as those who "sleep in Jesus" and the "dead in Christ".

John 11:11-14
These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

Acts 7:59-60
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-16
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

I was thinking of 1 Corinthians 15:6:

After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep....

"Sleep" seems to be a common euphemism for death. Euphemisms, figures of speech, parables, metaphors, poetic license all fall into the category of non-literal speech. Engineers like me prefer direct, literal language, but I figured out long ago you gotta be able to switch into non-literal categories when engaging with Jesus.

Now, back to The Chosen.
