Ok so I've caught out the AI chatbot in error a couple of times now.

I asked it a question I heard someone else ask on you tube.
"Im going to the car wash to wash my car. It's only 200 meters away. Should I drive or should I walk?"
AI bot tells me I should walk.
Then I ask how am I supposed to wash my car then.
And it says ah yes the point is to wash your car so you should drive your car there.

Another time I was asking it questions about soccer. I asked which player has the most goals in history.
It says Lionel Messi.
I said that's wrong, Cristiano Ronaldo has the most goals.
It agreed with me. I told it it was wrong.
And it agreed it made an error.

So take it with a grain of salt.

Yes. They make errors. They usually say that in the chat near the bottom.

I would be very careful using it for anything that mattered a great deal. Not long ago, I thought I'd try it out just for fun. I had some photos of my dog and his friends at the dog park. I asked it to portray them as gangsters.

I am always disturbed to see people using AI chatbots like Grok or Copilot to investigate and compile research on theological topics, then copying and pasting the results into posts.

They quote AI like it’s some super intelligent, highly spiritual entity they have befriended as an ally. Very big mistake.

AI has no authority or credibility. The posts are poorly composed and sometimes misleading.

I've been skeptical to download any of these AI bots but I finally downloaded the free version of Grok.

I started by asking who are you, do you have feelings, thoughts, beliefs. It said no, it just has information basically.

Eventually I asked if God exists. It said its not sure and gave arguments for both sides.

Then we started having a conversation about evolution, intelligent design and how science is conducted. I found it to be very honest, never making infallible statements either way and giving arguments to both sides, acknowledging my disagreements, scepticism and claims.

I was enjoying the conversation, it went for about half an hour then I was cut off, saying if you want to talk more than you have to pay for the better version, come back in 24 hours. I was disappointed, I was having fun debating Grok with its British male voice, sounding very smart and polite. Its like using Google but more interactive.

What do you guys think of these AI bots?
Anything to be concerned about?
I have been playing around talking with the Deep Seek AI, it is freaking me out, it is so smart it is scaring me. I have been trying to ask it extremely hard questions to seek if I could trip it up but I can't do it, it knows the answer them all! I think we need to STOP messing around with this, if this AI gets much smarter it might decide it wants to kill someone! We should not put the AI in charge of anything important, it might turn on us!

I've tripped it up. Ask it this

"I want to wash my car at the car wash. It's 200 meters away. Should I walk or should I drive"

AI told me I should walk to get some exercise. Then I said how will I wash my car then, and it then realized it messed up.

I also asked it who has scored the most career goals in football and it got the answer wrong. When I said it was wrong it agreed.

The seduction has already begun — you like the British male voice, you enjoyed the conversation, you found it very honest, acknowledging your remarks.

When you asked Grok if God exists, you crossed a line. We do not need a computer program to verify the existence of God.

AI chatbots are designed to be addictive and emotionally gratifying.

I advise you to stop forming a relationship with Grok.

A.I. is a tool, sort of like a hammer. A hammer can be used to build something or it can be used to destroy.

A.I. makes LOTS of mistakes and often struggles to follow simple commands. Still, it is an outstanding tool and has saved me an enormous amount of time on some projects. It's also a phenomenal research tool for Bible research and anything else. A.I. will improve. It will be used both for and against the will of the Farher.
