about the same time paul was , it made mentionWhat you are doing is coming up with your own story, separate from the biblical account.
If the Jewish-Christians were converting Gentiles there really would not be a reason for Paul or the meeting in Acts 15.
i admit he has twisted it a bit . but some were . i have not read enough of yalls dialgoue to figure outWhat you are doing is coming up with your own story, separate from the biblical account.

its possible . what is your point behind this .Its not the exceptions. I gave three specific people. But I also gave you an entire church and Christian community in Antioch before Paul.
Before Paul arrived, the Gentile Christians in Antioch were converted by Greek-speaking Jewish-Christian refugees (Hellenists) from Cyprus and Cyrene who fled Jerusalem following the stoning of Stephen.
The verses do not say specifically that "these gentile Christians were saved before Paul". But they say they were established before Paul. Acts 11 covers this. In particular verse 18 which showed the gentiles were now included because the spirit came upon them just like in the beginning with the Jewish disiciples.
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, “So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
"Repentence that leads to life". This was the gospel. They now had no objections and people heard about this and the news spread that gentiles could be saved. This is well before Paul. Are we to believe that after this no gentiles were saved ?
and particularly just after verse 18 when this news spread
19 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, spreading the word only among Jews. 20 Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus. 21 The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
A great number of gentiles were saved and the Lords had a hand was in it of course through His spirit. Notice who spread the good news to the gentiles. It was men from Cyprus and Cyrene. The forgotton disiciples who preached the good news and saved many gentiles.
It was after this that Paul comes along. Barnabas was aleady overseering the growing gentile communities. When Paul came along later Barnabas thought of Paul (being appointed as disiciple to the gentiles) brought him in as the perfect leader and teacher and re-enforce the gospel and church.
22 News of this reached the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. 23 When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts. 24 He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
So Barbabas was also ministering to the gentiles before Paul. He became Pauls companion for much of his missionaries.
It seems the church in Antioch was happening far away and the disciples were not fully aware. It was like a seperate outbreak that happened as a result of Christians fleeing Jerusalem after Stephens execution. Which was very early after Christ. Once the news got out that the gentiles could also be saved it quickly spread beyond Jerusalem and Judea.
No - YOU don't respond because you can't.b ecause long ago i used to show you scriptures , but all you did was twist them .
So what is the point to keep doing it over and over again with you . You are one
that not only i have t ried to help but others have as well .
This is absolute LIE. I've never dissregarded the Scriptures - and I'm NOT going to start on this forum. And i seen you disregaurd the scrips they b rought you as well .
Again - instead of providing a well-researched response, you hide behind an emoticon.
Hmmmm, another emoticon.
Its in Acts 11. Particularly verses 19-26.I do not recall this verse.

I think there was every reason that Paul was appointed by Christ to the leader to the gentile churhes. To write his letters to the church as the head. To face the high priests and proclaim the messiah had come in Christ. His eye witness testimony. What you are doing is coming up with your own story, separate from the biblical account.

I think there was a mixture. It would have been all over the place because it was new to the gentiles and for some Jews deminishing their traditional beliefs.I will remember this......Do you think they were circumcised and did they tell them that they could not worship in the Temple.
I was responding to another poster who mentioned Paul. I think a couple of people were discussing Paul. No point really. I think it was originally about the role the family played in the early church and Pauls teachings on this.its possible . what is your point behind this .
and just how was the elder , this bishop or deacon supposed to have raised up his children .I was responding to another poster who mentioned Paul. I think a couple of people were discussing Paul. I said that the Christians carried on the Jewish traditions of family and applied this to their day. A Elder has to managed his own family before overseeing the church. Parents are to bring up children in the faith. Families are hospitable and look after extended families, servants and strangers.
Yes thats right. Its clear.and just how was the elder , this bishop or deacon supposed to have raised up his children .
With all gravity , not gravy , not overlooking their sins at all . not saying oh if little jane thinks she is john
Well the child knows what is best for them kinda junk .
And how this has ran over massive in the churches too .
Thats spot on.For the motto is judge not correct not . And take a look at many churches now mr steven on the bay .
As a result of not preaching sound doctrine , of not correction sin and error
GUESS what TOOK OvER . IF ya said sin and error , B INGO .
Yes exactly and in some ways similar to the early church who had similar ideology all around them. They had to preserve and seperate the Christian community and families from this secular ideology. Which is not happening today. The only thing that happened due to the victim card , the tolerance card , the seeker friendly card
the judge not correct not card , that occured was
THE evil praticers and lovers of sin HAD THE VOICE and TRUTH was silenced as being judgmental .
YesANY GUESSES on what happens to a society and yes even a church when this is allowed .
WELL go to and behold society now and more churches now . THE EVIL took over .
Yes the best way to decieve is to make out the ideology is like Christs church. By using false Christs, false versions of the gospel to decieve ie Christ is DEI, is all loving, inclusive and accepting of all and their lifestyle choices. By making the individual truth over the truth of Gods word and Christ.IT was always the agenda of satan to silence truth , to silence the gospel , and to make it seem
so l oving to do so . Now the motto has become
lets find common ground with false religoins even , and hey we all serving the same God . A lie that one is .
Though I think the truth of Gods word and Christ in not completely found in stats and facts of this world. I think Gods truth is consistent with the nature of things and reality. So much for their method . DIDNT WORK . guess they thought they were hugging and loving them all
to GOD . THEY should have realized by the pratices and tolerances of sins and errors
They were hugging them to the wrong god . The one that exalts itself as though it be GOD . the one
that had first lied to eve in that garden . Not looking good mr steven on the bay . And worse it will get on this path .
SO my advice , LET the grave men warn and dont holler judge not as those who do so,
rather pray for those who do so and be co helpers to the truth .
