1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is Holy, and that is what you are."John 14:15-17 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandmants. 'And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; That is the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not Behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you."John 14:23 "Jesus answered and said to him, 'If anyone Loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."John 14:26-27 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 'Peace I leave with you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."John 15:26 "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of Truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me."John 7:37-39 "Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If any Man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 'He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified."John 16:7 "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you."John 16:13-15 "But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He shall glorify Me; for He shall take of mine, and shall disclose it to you. 'All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said, that He takes of Mine, and will disclose it to you."Romans 8:26-27 "And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God."1 Corinthians 2:10-11 "For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God."1 Corinthians 2:12-16 "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ."2 Corinthians 6:16-18 "Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, 'I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 'Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate, says the Lord. 'And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. And I will be a Father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty."Ephesians 3:16-19 "...that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God."Acts 2:32-33 "...This Jesus, God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. 'Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear."Romans 8:9-11 "However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. And if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you."John 2:19-22 "Jesus answered and said to them, 'Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.' The Jews therefore said, 'It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?' But He was speaking of the temple of His body. When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken."1 Corinthians 6:14,17,19-20 "Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power," "But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him," "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body."Ephesians 2:4-10 "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His Great Love with which He Loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ, by Grace you have been saved , and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the Gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."John 1:17 "For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ."Ephesians 2:15-16 "...by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments, that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity."Of cource with these verses having come from withen their greater texts as a whole -anything which they touch upon related to the subject matter of those texts and not of this specific study do not aply to this text ( when they are of a different context ) and thus imply no sub point here -if they imply sub or other related points to their original context,if it were to be beside the point of this study of God's Temple and Spirit.May Christ Richly Bless Those Who Truly Love Him, Amen. :bible:

Good post, Mike. As a matter of fact, we are doing a study in our men's bible class about the Holy Spirit. If you don't mind, I'd like to use these verses. I think they are very good dealing with that topic and us as the temple of God.
