CHRISTIAN happiness starts in this LIFE, immediately after,
BAPTISM calling on Jesus, from under…

Isa.35
[1] The wilderness (Israelites)
and the solitary place (Israelites)
shall be happy for them (the Apostles)
and the
desert, (without the Spirit = the Apostles)
shall rejoice (in Christ),
and shall blossom (spiritually, in their inside) like the rose.
[2
] It (the Apostles) shall blossom abundantly,
and (they shall),
rejoice with >> enjoyment and (merry) singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it (them),
the excellence of Carmel and Sharon,
They (the Apostles),
shall see the glory (the great dignity), of the LORD (Jesus, the God of Israel),
and they shall see
the excellence of our GOD (the Highest)
[3
] Strengthen the weak hands,
and confirm the feeble knees.
[4
] Say to them (the children of the Prophets = the Apostles …),
who are of a fearful, (of the oppressive rulers), heart:
Be strong.
Do not fear.
Behold, your God, (Jesus, the God of your Fathers, the Prophets)
will come (to Israel), with vengeance (because of evil doings),
even God (Jesus and his Father, will come to Israel) with a recompense.
He (Jesus) will come (from the Father)
and save you (from the oppressive rulers …).
[5
] Then the (>> spiritual) eyes
of the blind (the disciples of Christ),
shall be opened
and the (>> spiritual) ears
of the deaf (disciples of Christ),
shall be unstopped.
[6
] Then the lame man >> (the disciples of Jesus),
shall leap (spring up), like a hart,
and the tongue of the dumb (the disciples of Christ),
shall (happily) sing
because waters, (the JOY giving, Holy Spirit),
shall break out in the wilderness
and streams (the Holy Spirit, shall break out),
in the desert >> (the dry people who do not have the Spirit)
[7
] And the parched ground (the previously dry inside, disciple),
shall become a pool,
and the thirsty land (shall become),
springs of water (the Holy Spirit)
in the habitation of dragons,
where each (type of land), lay,
there shall be grass with reeds
and rushes (well watered by the Holy Spirit, after Baptism)
[8
] There shall exist a (spiritual) >> Highway
and a >> Way, (during the times of the Apostles >>),
and it shall be called (by the Apostles) :
The way of holiness (= Godliness 1Tim.6:3).
The unclean (Israelite) shall not pass over it
but it shall exist for those
(who are called): The wayfaring (Christian) men,
though fools,
shall not err therein (because of the Spirit leading them)

[9] No lion (natured person) shall be there (in the Way of Godliness)
nor any ravenous (natured) beast shall go up on there,
It (the wrong natured),
shall not be found there (among the anointed, Christians)
but the redeemed (Christians who were redeemed by GOD and Christ),
shall walk there
[10
] And the ransomed of/ by the LORD
shall return (to the Mighty God; Acts 2:38),
and they shall come to (spiritual) Zion (the chosen Apostles)
with (merry making) songs
and >> EVERLASTING JOY, (through the Holy Spirit)
shall upon their heads.
They (the baptized, anointed converts),
shall obtain joy and happiness (from the Holy Spirit),
and sorrow and sighing
shall flee away (They have entered into the good life)

Wow. Amazing. The first two verses of Isaiah 35 were read in church the other day and that is exactly how I saw it too, and expounded it to my daughter.

Very good stuff wordsponge.

Have you ever heard that song "Trading my sorrows"?

I'm trading my sorrow
I'm trading my shame
I'm laying them down
For the Joy of the Lord

Sounds like a good trade, doesn't it? So how do you do it?

Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden(with sorrow and shame), and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Yes Lord
Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Yes Lord, Amen.

Calling on the name of the LORD is customary.

Acts.22
[16] Now why do you tarry (Paul)?
Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins,
calling on the name of the LORD (who incarnated as Jesus Christ)

Pss.116
[13] I will take (happily accept) the Cup of Salvation (from the dishonored Son)
and I will call upon the name of the LORD (Jesus, starting in baptism)

Pss.99
[6] Moses and Aaron were among his Priests
and Samuel was among those (Judges) of Israel,
who call upon his name
They called upon the LORD (Jesus) and he answered them.

If we want to join the Israelite GOD and his children then we must obey his simple teachings.

*
Calling on Jesus, by his Christians, as recorded in the Writings of our N. T. Scriptures.
Acts.2
[21] It shall come to pass,
that whosoever shall
