The above statement, I believe, is wrong because: -

The are no required negotiations with the sin(s), that have enslaved us, but God does require us to repent of the primary sin that we committed and the sins that flowed from committing the primary sin are taken care of because God's forgiveness of the primary sin wipes the flow on sins from our recorded tally of sins. However, the consequence of those flow on sins still will remain for us to deal with, with God's help/assistence.
