What is the katabole?Did you know there was a an earth Age Before this one?The word "foundation" is "katabole".The "foundation" of this 2nd earth dimensional age came after the 'throwing down' of the 1st earthly dimensional age. This word "katabole" speaks of that which our FATHER did to prepare the world for man to be able live in earthly flesh bodies. The throwing down or destruction of the all things that had been upon the earth in the 1st earth age, in order to build a new foundation that would support man in the flesh in the 2nd earth age was the first step in preparing the earth as a temporary abode for man made mortal. When I see people struggling to answer questions like this, "What happened back then" or "How old is the earth" etc. you know what I want to ask them? If indeed it is how you say it is, how will it affect your faith?...Does it change anything?... We know what the bible says."Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." -Heb. 11:3 That's all we need to know. Ofcourse I have found myself watching and reading lots of Creationists' studies, proving evolution theory wrong and the gazillions of years of earth's creation a fairy tale, and I must say they are impressive and faith-strengthening. But why bother to go beyond that? Perosnally I don't care, because it will not affect my faith to know. God bless.

The thing is its not about your salvation that we need to understand this its about understanding Gods Plan how and why it came about Its the foundations for understanding the Whole of the Word some like myself find that knowing and understanding the foundations of Gods plan is important to keep it all in context. The question is not what do you need to know that is easy the answer is Christ the question is what do you want to know of your Father and his planYou can think what you like I think understanding all Gods plan is important you dont your choice.

I like to take it easy and just believe in a literal 6 day creation followed by 1 day rest.

Do you realize that the Truth makes people keep working, while a Lie makes people rest?I rather work, not rest.JagLovest thou in Christ Yahshua, Lord and Saviour of the world.
