All About the Bible is associated with Berean Bible Society, a controversial sect that does not believe in water baptism.

The Berean Bible Society, sometimes called the Grace Movement, is a hyper-dispensational FALSE/CULTIC BELIEF system that was started by Pastor Ohair in Chicago and Pastor Baker as author.

Not believing in "minor" doctrines (like hell, baptism, etc) this group simply states that all of the Bible other than a few books of Paul (prison epistles, pastoral epistles) is NOT for us today. It redefines the Bible, the Gospel, Baptism, Kingdom etc).

The Society teaches that much of the Bible—including the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ in the Gospels, the Great Commission in Matthew 28, and general epistles like James—is directed to Israel under a different dispensation and is not directly applicable or written as the active church commission for today.

The broader Mid-Acts grace movement features internal splintering and debates among prominent teachers (such as C.R. Stam, Les Feldick, and Richard Jordan) regarding nuances like King James Onlyism, whether forgiveness is universal prior to belief, and whether to observe the Lord’s Supper.

Historical friction has occasionally occurred within leadership circles, such as departures or disputes over doctrinal consistency and Bible translations (e.g., historical transitions involving figures like C. Richard Jordan and the Grace Life School of Theology / Berean Bible Society relationship).

Thanks for that information. I have seen people quote from a Bible translation known as the Berean Standard Bible, but I'd not heard of the Berean Bible Society. It sounds like one to be avoided.

Love the heart behind this. For me the Bible stopped being a book I read and became something that actually talks back when I'm stuck or tired. Psalm 119:105 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." What got you digging into it so deeply?

You may like the graphic meme, but the link to All About the Bible under the meme leads to a controversial website.
