Did you know?

Psalm 149:4-9
4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

This is when it happens.

Habakkuk 3:11-13
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

Revelation 19:11-21
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Eric I am not here to disagree but to give you further insight , I expect we will see (some of) these things soon .... the stage is being set now

The saints referred to are Israel , Psalm 149:7 is in regards to Ezekiel 28:26 , and this happens as an interlude before the end-times (revelation) .

One of the main purposes is for Israel to regain all the original land God gave Jacob , then comes a favorable time of peace and safety (for Israel) .... then some time later comes the end-times

Best wishes

Eric, by thinking that your Psalm 149 and Hab 3 quotes happen at the Return, you miss out what is prophesied to happen before the Return for Jesus' Millennial reign. Martin W is correct, those prophesies relate to the 6th Seal, Psalm 83 event.
God will fulfil His promises to the Patriarchs, their descendants - ALL the true Israelites will go to live in ALL of the holy Land, they will welcome Jesus back, saying: "Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord'.

Thank you folks for caring!

I did know that when Jesus Comes back in Rev.19:11, etc., it's the end of the 1,000 of Rev.20:2, etc. Now what I didn't know for sure is whether we are to look at Ps.149 in the spirit of the new covenant, been awhile hence will eyeball again. You got me on Ps.83, having to eyeball for sure, ie, thought it had more to do with the alliance of the neighboring nations against Judah in the reign of Jehoshaphat.

Even using a reverse algorithem, cannot put together when this is going to happen? Old Jack in need of help?

Old awaiting Jack

I find no translations claiming vs 5 is heaven
I find vs 2 specifies Israel & Zion

..............................

1 Praise the Lord.

Sing to the Lord a new song,
his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
3 Let them praise his name with dancing
and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory.
5 Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.

6 May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands,
7 to inflict vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples,
8 to bind their kings with fetters,
their nobles with shackles of iron,
9 to carry out the sentence written against them—
this is the glory of all his faithful people.

Praise the Lord.

keras,

Daniel 11:36-45
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Start of the tribulation, Antichrist will divide Israel and sign the covenant.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

Egypt and Syria will attack which breaks the covenant and causes the antichrist to attack at the time of Psalm 83.

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt:

After antichrist defeats the Psalm 83 alliance, Russia and her alliance from Ezekiel 38:1-12 will attack and be defeated.

and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

Antichrist will set up his base in Israel for the rest of the tribulation. We will destroy his army there in Armageddon.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Eric, your reply to me from Daniel 11:36-45, is what will happen AFTER new Israel and the New World Order are established. Specifically, at the mid point of the last 7 years before the Return.
But right now, the world is in no way ready for any of the end time events to happen. What must and will happen, is the great 'reset of civilization' referred to by Jesus in Luke 21:25-26, Paul in Romans 1:18, Peter in 2 Peter 3:7 and described most vividly in Isaiah 24.
Your reply to Martin W, above, sounds like you fancy yourself as a cyber warrior, chopping heads left and right!

Ps.149, "It is glory for all His saints, Hellelujah" This was coming to pass way back at the restoration under Ezra and Nehemiah till the end of time, ie, right this moment - praying Christians in the context of Ps.147-149 reconciled. We're way apart on this one?

shurt678, Please, a little less of foolish comments and more sense would be good.
Your thinking that we are now in the Millennium is frankly ridiculous.

Careful reading and understanding of the Prophetic Word, along with common sense and logic, tells us that the world is very near a dramatic change. Another 'reset of civilization' of similar proportions 'as in the days of Noah'.
All the other members of the church that I attend are basically in denial of any possible change to their way of life. They simply do not wish to discuss end times events. That Jesus will return, is enough for them.
I post on forums like this one in the hope of serious discussion, where we can all help one another to come to a right understanding of what God has planned for His creation and what we should do now.

Mmmm, I didn't know that either. Now that I do I wish I didn't. But then if I didn't I wouldn't ....oooh never mind. I do wonder though if the two edged sword spoken of is in fact the Bible, and not the literal blade Eric infers. A matter of comparing scripture with scripture as opposed to taking one man's personal interpretation. Now if the two edged sword was the Bible then that would change the entire context of the post wouldn't it?

Brakelite.............I have no idea what you be talking about :) So this may not pertain to anything...guess I just have to say it.
But the way i see it...............Jesus told the Leper..........go...................and tell others what happened to you today.
I don't think the leper was well phrased in scripture........sometimes scripture is for those after they come to Christ............
Not one scripture saved me......................I just called out in my garage before i pulled the trigger...and WaaaaaaaaaaaaLaaaaaaaaa Jesus shows up.

But...don't get me wrong.....I do also know many where scripture alone has saved them..............especially the warlocks.

Hey.............if that didn't pertain to anything you guys are talkin about..............just call it mumbling.

Not disagreeing with you, but a further comment: This is why it is so important to know the difference between "Lord" and "LORD." This is NOT referring to "the Name of Jesus," as some teach. Rather, it is talking about "the Name of YHWH," being a quotation of Psalm 118:26! It is by HIS authority ("name") that Yeshua` (Jesus) will return!

Shalom, Eric.

The people of Israel are not saints. The land of Israel is not glory. Saints with a body like Jesus that can go throuh walls could kill soldiers with guns with swords because we can't be shot!
Actually, the people of Isra'el ARE saints! That is, they are HOLY unto the LORD! They are SPECIAL and SINGLED OUT as God's people, the "People of the Book!"

"Glory" is NOT referring to a PLACE! "Glory," the Hebrew word "kaavowd" (which you might recognize as part of the name "Ichabod" which is said to mean "the glory has departed"), is talking about the CONDITION of the children of Isra'el!

OT:3519 kabowd (kaw-bode'); rarely kabod (kaw-bode'); from OT:3513; properly, weight, but only figuratively in a good sense, splendor or copiousness:
KJV - glorious (-ly), glory, honour (-able).

OT:3520 kebuwddah (keb-ood-daw'); irreg. feminine passive participle of OT:3513; weightiness, i.e. magnificence, wealth:

(Strong's here lists "kaavowd" as "kabowd," however there is no dot (dagesh) in the "bet," changing it to a "vet." Thus, it should be pronounced as a "v" sound rather than a "b" sound.

I also add an "a" in transliteration to get "aa" for the "aw" sound as opposed to the "a" for the "ah" sound. The first sound, "aw," is the small "T" under a Hebrew letter called a "qaamets." The second sound, "ah," is the "-" under a Hebrew letter called a "patach.")
