Imo, "No"..... The land where the Temple sits is occupied. I also don't believe God dwells in a Temple anymore. Its a place were a High Priest intercedes for people, no longer necessary, and a place where sacrifices are made, no longer necessary. I believe when the anti-Christ stands where he ought not, its in the place of Christ.

The prophetic Scriptures clearly predict that the Third Temple will be built and the sacrifices reinstated, in the final years leading up to the Return of the Messiah. It is clear, too, that there will be more than just the Jewish people living in the Land of Greater Israel. All the Israelites from all 12 tribes of Israel, will migrate to New Israel soon after the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, the terrible Day of fire and storms, that will clear and cleanse most of the Middle East.
The place of the new Temple, may be to the North of the existing Dome of the Rock, because this is in the direct line of the now sealed Eastern gate. The Bible, the Torah, and Josephus, all agree that the Temple was in that location. The Temple Institute, in Jerusalem, has made the utensils for the Temple worship, including the robes and breastplate for the High Priest. The Ark of the Covenant will be brought from its hiding place. Zechariah 6:15 Men from far away will come to work on rebuilding the Temple.

The Jewish sage, Moses Maimonides, known as Rambam, declared that the Temple will be rebuilt and the exiles from around the world gathered back into the Promised Land.
The Messiah will appear and re-establish the glory of King David.
In the Talmud Yerushalmi, Rabbi Acha says; The Beit Hamikdash [Holy Temple] will be built first, before the advent of the Kingdom of David.
The Pnei Moshe states; The Land will be settled first, then the people will become prosperous, after that they will build the Temple and finally, the Messiah will come.
In the Mar’eh Punim the Gaon Moshe Margolis wrote that when Jacob predicted the future of Judah, he foretold that the Temple would be rebuilt first, then the Messiah would come.

The whole scenario of the end times, has a logical sequence to it. At last, now in 2014, we can see how things are happening that will see a confederation of Islamic states and entities that will be motivated to get rid of the ‘ cancer ‘ in their midst, that is the State of Israel. The moment of their attack, is the moment that God will intervene. This great Day of the Lord, will take the form of a natural event – a coronal mass ejection, a massive sunstrike of cosmic particles, causing intense heat and electrical storms. The attacking armies will be destroyed by their own weaponry, as they all explode before firing. This will literally fulfil the prayer in Psalm 83:13-18
Many prophesies speak of the regeneration of the Land of Greater Israel, “in a very short while” [Isaiah 29:17] after this great clearance and cleansing of the entire area. Righteous Israel- “those who love the Lord and follow in His ways” will then gather “on the mountains of Samaria”. This is described very well in Ezekiel 20:34-38.
Over 40 prophesies describe how all the Israelites will live in peace and security in their own Land. At last, they will be as God originally intended, “a light to the nations”, they will “exemplify My Holiness for all to see”. Ezekiel 39:27-29 [The attack by Gog/ Magog will come during this period]
They will build the Third Temple, and “the splendour of this latter House will surpass that of the former”. Haggai 2:9 & Zechariah 8:9-13 have wonderful promises of restoration and redemption; Courage! Do not lose heart!

You're missing the point, bro'. The Land where the Temple once stood IS UNLAWFULLY occupied by the heathen Dome of the Rock. Jack may be right here! It may be high time for Isra'el to oust the Muslim presence in the persons of those who call themselves "Palestinians" ("Philistines") and raze the interloping edifice to the ground, clearing the way for a third Temple!

God has NEVER "dwelt" in a Temple! That's NOT the purpose for the Temple! What WAS (and WILL BE, again) its purpose?

1 Kings 8:27-29
27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
28 Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:
29 That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

KJV

Isaiah 56:1-8
1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation (yeeshu`atiy = my yeeshu`ah) is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
8 The Lord God which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
KJV

Matthew 21:12-13
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
KJV

Mark 11:15-17
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
KJV

Luke 19:45-46
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
KJV

It's not about God "living in houses of wood and stone" or about "sacrifices!" It's all about a FOCAL POINT, especially during the millennial reign of the Messiah, where people can make their requests known to a God who ANSWERS!

Those of you who are "anti-literal-Temple" need to come to grips with the fact that the Scriptures STILL PROMISE through several prophecies that a third Temple SHALL BE built, whether you like it or not!

No sarcasm my brother, the spiritual Israel in the sense of Rom.11:25, 26 only for openers.

Old Jack that appreciates your view as still working through it.

That there will be a literal new Temple, is clear from 2 Thess 2:4.
We are given promises and hope of a spiritual nature in the NT for the nearly 2000 year period of the Church age. This does not in any way abrogate the prophesies of how eventually there will be a physical Temple and all of the Lord's righteous people will live in all of the holy Land.

Thank you for your response again!

IIThess.2:4 construed with Jn.2:19, not the use of naos. In Jn.2:19, "destroy this sanctuary" This is a mashal stating He will raise it up again, as one sign to them. The term naos refers to the Sanctuary proper within our bodies = the "Sanctuary" part fo the Temple. Definitely not a future physical building.

You right Old Jack... we must come out from among them and be separate from that old Jerusalem. We
need to quit looking for a physical temple and understand that the temple God is talking about in these
last days are our bodies. God left that temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. and He said, just as I left Shiloh
I will leave you ( Jer. 7:12-16 ).

Now... He has placed His Glory in individuals and when He returns we will be a corporate temple that will
be placed in the New Jerusalem that is coming down from God. There will be no need to build a new temple
for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb shall be the temple of it ( Rev. 21:22 ).

What a God! What a Plan!

Wow! Praise the Lord my brother!

Such a great salvation, the Cross, and our Lord Godman Jesus!

Where's brother RANDOR in all this praising and prayer when you need him?

Old Jack that appreciates even those that agree to disagree with us, and me.

Loling at myself, I stated "not" instead of "note," getting old as even reread it over?

Sorry, bro', but you're missing a few details in your scenario. Before Revelation 21:22 can occur, there must first be the fulfillment of Revelation 20:1-15 and earlier!

Revelation 17:1-20:8
17:1 And there came one of the seven angels (Greek: heis ek toon hepta aggeloon = "one out-of the seven messengers") which had the seven vials (Greek: tas hepta fialas = "the seven bowls"), and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
(Greek: Musteerion, Babuloon hee megalee, hee Meeteer toon Pornoon kai toon Bdelugmatoon tees gees = "Secret, the huge Bavel, the Mother of-the Prostitutes and of-the Abominations/Idols of-the earth").
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings
(He's BACK!): and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent (ancient snake), which is the Devil (Greek: Diabolos = Slanderer), and Satan (Hebrew: Saataan = Enemy), and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 (But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
See vss. 12-13 below.) This (vs. 4) is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ (Messiah), and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
KJV

All of THIS needs to be fulfilled first, and it is NOT going on right now nor is it already started! And, it CERTAINLY is not already in the past!

22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

Hey, we finally can agree to agree, ie, "it CERTAINLY is not already in the past," past. And here you thought I thought it was already in the past, past...see we can agree to agree my brother...sometimes.

Do you mean Jn.2:19 isn't going to come to pass? Or IIThess.2:4?

I agree... but the purpose of the Pentecostal Church in Acts 2 was to bring many mature
sons unto glory in order to bring about a New Covenant, because the Old Covenant was
passing away.

When we think God is going to build another Temple to offer up sacrifices to Him we are
missing the whole point of the Bible. God gave the Jews 40 years to repent and accept the
Messiah, but they refused. In other words, they wanted to continue offering up their own
sacrifices, because they didn't believe Jesus was God's Son. That my friends is blasphemy.

God destroyed that temple and its sacrifices in 70 AD to 73 AD just as Jesus had prophesied
40 years earlier. Now, in 2014 this same spirit of Anti-Christ has made its return in these last
days to deceive God's people into believing this is a good thing. Well, let me let you in on a
little secret... it was blasphemy then and it is still blasphemy today. The nation as a whole
still hasn't accepted their Messiah and we need to tell them to get out of Jerusalem before
God destroys it. Isa. 29:4, 6 says,

4 I will camp against you encircling you, And I will set
siegeworks against you, And I will raise up battle towers
against you.
6 From the LORD of hosts you will be punished with
thunder and earthquake and loud noise, With whirlwind
and tempest and the flame of a consuming fire.

Instead we are sending them money so they can get more Jews to come to Israel to be
slaughtered. Jer. 19:6 says,

6 therefore, behold, days are coming," declares the LORD,
"when this place will no longer be called Topheth or the
valley of Ben-hinnom , but rather the valley of Slaughter.

So let's start telling them the truth about the real Temple that God is building and not man. It
is the Temple of the Living God which is our bodies. 2nd Corth. 6:16-18 says,

16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols?
For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,
"I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND
I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
17 "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE
SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT
IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.
18 "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons
and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty.

There's the Temple that God is building and He will complete it in due time. Let's begin to put
on the Mind of Christ and the Divine Nature so this Temple can begin to help the enemies of
the cross understand the Mercy and Grace of God. Peter said it this way in 1st Peter 2:5,

5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a
spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

That looks like a 3rd Temple to me!

What a God! What a Plan!

It is quite clear from many scriptures that a Third Temple will be built. Paul states it in 2 Thess 2:4.
The NT scriptures that tell of the spiritual Temple of the Lord's righteous people, is for us during this nearly 2000 year period of the Church age. For now, we Christians are tasked to build up the Body of Christ and to be the salt and light to the nations. But the time will come, when the reality will come to pass and all true believers will gather and live in all of the holy Land. They will bulid the Temple, they will 'display His glory', Ezekiel 39:25-29, and they will send out 144,000 missionaries to proclaim the coming kingdom of Jesus.

What a God! What a Plan!

Logabe

What a God! What a Plan! In fact, it is so big a Plan that it's out of your reach! Sorry, bro', but you are WAY off base.

First of all, let's look at the contexts of the verses that you've quoted:

Isaiah 29:4, 6 (why only THOSE two verses?):

First of all, siege works and towers are only needed and only work against WALLED CITIES! Jerusalem today is NOT a walled city!

Isaiah 28:15-29:24
15 Because you said, “We made a covenant with death,
we made a contract with Sh’ol.
When the raging flood passes through,
it will not touch us.
For we have made lies our refuge
and hid ourselves in falsehoods” —
16 therefore here is what Adonai Elohim says:
“Look, I am laying in Tziyon
a tested stone, a costly cornerstone,
a firm foundation-stone;
he who trusts will not rush here and there.
17 I will make justice the plumbline
and righteousness the plumb-bob;
hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
water will overflow the hiding place,
18 your covenant with death will be annulled,
and your contract with Sh’ol will not stand.
When the raging flood passes through,
you will be trampled down by it.
19 As often as it passes through, it will take you,
for it will pass through every morning,
day after day, night after night;
understanding the message will be sheer terror.”
20 For, [as the saying goes,]
“The bed is too short for a person to stretch,
and the blanket too narrow [to protect him from cold]
even if he crams himself in.”
21 For Adonai will arise, as at Mount P’ratzim,
and storm with rage, as in the Giv‘on Valley;
so he can do his deed, his strange deed,
and perform his task, his alien task.
22 Therefore, now, stop your scoffing,
or your bonds will be further tightened;
for I have heard from Adonai ELOHIM-
Tzva’ot that destruction is decreed for the whole land.
23 Listen and hear my voice;
pay attention, and hear what I say:
24 Does a farmer sowing keep plowing forever?
Does he never stop breaking up and harrowing his land?
25 No — when he finishes levelling it,
he scatters his dill-seed, sows his cumin,
puts wheat in rows, barley where it belongs,
and plants buckwheat around the edges;
26 because his God has taught him this,
has given him instruction.
27 Dill must not be threshed with a sledge
or cartwheels driven over cumin;
rather, dill one beats with a stick
and cumin with a flail.
28 When crushing grain for bread,
one doesn’t thresh it forever;
one drives the horse and cart wheels over it
but doesn’t crush it to powder.
29 This too comes from Adonai-Tzva’ot
his counsel is wonderful, his wisdom great.
29:1 Woe to Ari’el [fireplace on God’s altar, lion of God] —

Ari’el, the city where David encamped!
Celebrate the feasts for a few more years,
2 but then I will bring trouble to Ari’el.
There will be mourning and moaning,
as she becomes truly an ari’el for me.
3 I will encamp all around you, besiege you with towers
and mount siege-works against you.
4 Prostrate, you will speak from the ground;
your words will be stifled by the dust;
your voice will sound like a ghost in the ground,
your words like squeaks in the dust.
5 But your many foes will become like fine powder,

the horde of tyrants like blowing chaff,
and it will happen very suddenly.
6 You will be visited by Adonai-Tzva’ot
with thunder, earthquakes and loud noises,
whirlwinds, tempests, flaming firestorms.
7 Then, all the nations fighting Ari’el,
every one at war with her,
the ramparts around her, the people that trouble her
will fade like a dream, like a vision in the night.
8 It will be like a hungry man dreaming he’s eating;
but when he wakes up, his stomach is empty;
or like a thirsty man dreaming he’s drinking;
but when he wakes up, he is dry and exhausted —
it will be like this for the horde of all nations
fighting against Mount Tziyon.
9 If you make yourselves stupid, you will stay stupid!
If you blind yourselves, you will stay blind!
You are drunk, but not from wine;
you are staggering, but not from strong liquor.
10 For Adonai has poured over you a spirit of lethargy;
he has closed your eyes (that is, the prophets)
and covered your heads (that is, the seers).
11 For you this whole prophetic vision
has become like the message in a sealed-up scroll.
When one gives it to someone who can read and says,
“Please read this,” he answers, “I can’t, because it’s sealed.”
12 If the scroll is given to someone who can’t read
with the request, “Please read this,” he says, “I can’t read.”
13 Then Adonai said:
“Because these people approach me with empty words,
and the honor they bestow on me is mere lip-service;
while in fact they have distanced their hearts from me,
and their ‘fear of me’ is just a mitzvah of human origin —
14 therefore, I will have to keep shocking these people
with astounding and amazing things,
until the ‘wisdom’ of their ‘wise ones’ vanishes,
and the ‘discernment’ of their ‘discerning ones’ is hidden away.”
15 Woe to those who burrow down deep
to hide their plans from Adonai!
They work in the dark and say to themselves,
“Nobody sees us, nobody knows us.”
16 How you turn things upside down! —
Is the potter not better than the clay,
Does something made say of its maker,
“He didn’t make me”?
Does the product say of its producer,
“He has no discernment”?
17 In but a little while the L’vanon
will be turned into a fruitful field,
and the fruitful field regarded as a forest.
18 On that day the deaf
will hear the words of a book,
and out of gloom and darkness
the eyes of the blind will see.
19 The humble will again rejoice in Adonai
and the poor exult in the Holy One of Isra’el,
20 for the tyrant is now nothing, the scoffer is finished,
and all alert to do evil are cut off —
21 those whose words make a man out to be a sinner,
those who set traps for the arbitrator at the city gate,
and those who groundlessly deny justice
to the one in the right.
22 Therefore, here are the words of Adonai, who redeemed Avraham (Abraham), concerning the house of Ya‘akov (Jacob):
Ya‘akov (Jacob) will no longer be ashamed,
no longer will his face grow pale.
23 When his descendants see the work of my hands
among them, they will consecrate my name.
Yes, they will consecrate the Holy one of Ya‘akov (Jacob)
and stand in awe of the God of Isra’el.
24 Those whose spirits stray will come to understand,
and those who complain will learn their lesson...."
CJB

God is going to temporarily hurt them, but in the process, He is going to DESTROY their enemies!

Jeremiah 19:6? REALLY?!
Jeremiah 19:1-20:6
19:1 Adonai then said, “Go; buy a clay jar from the potter; take some of the people’s leaders and some of the leading cohanim; 2 and go out into the Ben-Hinnom Valley, by the entry to the Potsherd Gate. There you are to proclaim the words I am about to tell you. 3 Say: ‘Hear the word of Adonai, kings of Y’hudah and inhabitants of Yerushalayim! This is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Isra’el, says: “I am about to bring disaster on this place that will make the ears of whoever hears about it ring. 4 This is because they have abandoned me and alienated this place. In it they have offered to other gods that neither they nor their ancestors have known, nor the kings of Y’hudah. They have filled this place with the blood of innocent people. 5 They have built the high places of Ba‘al, in order to burn up their children in the fire as burnt offerings to Ba‘al — something I never ordered or said; it never even entered my mind.
6 “‘“Therefore the time is coming,” says Adonai, “when this place will no longer be called either Tofet or the Ben-Hinnom Valley, but the Valley of Slaughter (Gei' ha-Hareegah). 7 I will nullify the plans of Y’hudah and Yerushalayim in this place. I will have them fall by the sword before their enemies and at the hand of those seeking their lives, and I will give their corpses as food for the birds in the air and the wild animals. 8 I will make this city an object of horror and ridicule; everyone passing by will be horrified and will ridicule it because of all its wounds. 9 I will cause them to eat the flesh of their own sons and daughters; everyone will be eating the flesh of his friends during the siege, because of the shortage imposed on them by their enemies and those set on killing them.”’
10 “Then you are to smash the jar in front of the people who went with you, 11 and say to them, ‘Adonai-Tzva’ot says that this is how I will break this people and this city, just as one smashes a potter’s vessel beyond the possibility of repair. The dead will be buried in Tofet, because there will be no space left for burial [anywhere else]. 12 That is what I will do to this place,’ says Adonai ‘and to its inhabitants; I will make it like Tofet. 13 The houses of Yerushalayim and those of the kings of Y’hudah will be defiled like this place Tofet — yes, all the houses on whose roofs they have offered to all the stars in heaven and poured out drink offerings to other gods.’”
14 Then Yirmeyahu returned from Tofet, where Adonai had sent him to prophesy, stood in the courtyard of Adonai’s house and said to all the people, 15 “This is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Isra’el, says: ‘I am bringing on this city and all its surrounding villages all the disaster I have pronounced against it; because they have stiffened their necks and refused to pay attention to my words.’”
20 1 Now when the cohen Pash’chur son of Immer, chief official in the house of Adonai, heard Yirmeyahu prophesying these things, 2 he had him flogged and put him in the stocks at the Upper Binyamin Gate of the house of Adonai. 3 The following morning, when Pash’chur led Yirmeyahu out of the stocks, Yirmeyahu said to him, “Adonai no longer calls you Pash’chur but Magor-Missaviv [terror on every side]. 4 For this is what Adonai says: ‘I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies, while you watch. I will hand over all of Y’hudah to the king of Bavel (Babylon), and he will carry them off captive to Bavel and put them to the sword. 5 Moreover, I will hand over everything stored in this city, all its valuables, all its wealth, indeed all the treasures of the kings of Y’hudah, to their enemies, who will plunder them, take them and carry them to Bavel. 6 And you, Pash’chur, along with your entire household, will go into captivity; you will go to Bavel, where you will die and be buried — you and all your friends to whom you have prophesied lies.’”

Clearly, this prophecy is about Nebuchadnezzar's destruction of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) LONG ago! Done! Over! Finit!

Now, regarding your theory that ...

Making sacrifices are NOT the abominations that caused the desolation of Jerusalem 40 years later!

Matthew 23:37-39
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Thank you folks for caring again!

Also imo, "No" in the sense of the antichrist's power and authority is already dwelling in the "sanctuaries" naos (IIThess.2:4). Absolutely not future "Temple" ieron is to be built.

Well, here's my three cents. I do believe there will be a future physical temple because the majority of the Jews are not born again and still see the need for a temple to offer sacrifices in. Will God honor their sacrifices? Of course not! I think that aspect of it will be short-lived and that is what the a/c will cause to cease along with the oblations. For the image of the a/c to sit in the wing of a temple, a temple must be there. Yes, we christians are the temple of the HS per 1 Cor. 6:19, NOT 1 Cor. 3:16 but christians are not being spoken of in these particular passages. For this prophecy to be fulfilled, it doesn't have to be a brick and mortar building, a temporary sanctuary that can be erected and taken down would suffice.

During the millennium there will be a permanent temple built in Jerusalem per the guidelines of the latter chapters of Ezekial. Jesus will "rule with a rod of iron" from that throne and David will be at his right hand. This is not the same as the New Heavens and Earth with the New Jerusalem. They are after the millennium and GWTJ, imo.

Thank you for caring and your response again! We're going to have to raise the bar a little my brother!

ICor.6:19, "...that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you,..." Again the Holy Spirit doesn't dwell within one or more of the four courtyards in the temple, however does in the central building in the temple, ie, "sanctuary." One more passage my brother:

ICor.3:16, "....God's sanctuary..." Distinguished from the "temple" ieron which included all the courts again and all the structures. However is the sanctuary naos the structure containing the Holy of Holies and Holy Place.

Only old Jack's opinion, and could be in error, however not that fallacious to insane like many others believe???

Hi Jack, Again a little confusing. I think we agree. Even though a new temple might be built, I don't think any aspect of God will abide there until Christ returns and rebuilds Jerusalem.
