There was a point in History where Praying for America really made sense, but as soon as the 20th Century came, any time after the 1920s, America was doomed! Abraham was also a type of George Washington. Moses is a type of Abraham Lincoln cause Lincoln freed the Blacks but not in the whole sense until the civil rights movement, nonetheless I type them as such. America was a Blessed Nation, but she Has committed fornication with the Harlot, the Word, Babylon and America along with her false god Columbia will burn!

HOW bout this one? If you mean Christian standards then the whole Declaration of Independence must line up with Scripture, and since it Doesn't then it's not scripture. You can't add leavening to dough remember? A little leavening goes along way.

I can't believe how many people hate this country? How sad. I love being an American. I'm so proud of our country and the charitable, hard working, good people who live here. I love our freedoms, I love our endless opportunities, I love our diversity. Our country itself is beautiful. I do believe our nation was founded on Godly principals - and I think we continue to be a nation of Godly people. Perfect? No way - not even close. THAT won't happen this side of heaven. But I wouldn't want to live anywhere else and I know there are people who would risk death to have the chance to call themselves an American. But that's just me...

I don't hate this country, I just hate what it has become.
I love being an American. I'm so proud of our country and the charitable, hard working, good people who live here. I love our freedoms, I love our endless opportunities, I love our diversity. Our country itself is beautiful.
Who Doesn't?
I do believe our nation was founded on Godly principals
That's your Opinion, you can't knit-pick verses or ideas from the Bible and say, HENCE we come up with such and such notion!
and I think we continue to be a nation of Godly people.
Speak for yourself. Las Vegas, LA, the sinful Bay Area, the Racist and Rich Far Right Wing Christians who want to keep their hands clean, leaving their brothers to suffer. New York, New Orleans, just a preview of God's Coming Judgment. Speak for yourself instead of others, cause you only know yourself.
Perfect? No way - not even close. THAT won't happen this side of heaven.
We're never going to be perfect. AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN this Side of Heaven?! Do you remember who Yeshua HaMashiach said was the god of this World? SATAN, this is hell we are living in!
But I wouldn't want to live anywhere else and I know there are people who would risk death to have the chance to call themselves an American.
I love living here too, but not the Spirit of what America Has Become. You know there are people that would risk being called americans, yet there aren't enough people who would risk their freaking lives to Say they Stand for Christ. That's The Irony and that's sad!

Do you mind if I quote you? Speak for yourself instead of others, cause you only know yourself. Most of the Chrisitians I know (and I go to a big church) would risk their lives to say they stand for Christ. They are devoted to Him. They try their best to live a life of holiness and they reach out to their fellow man and try to help, whether it be by volunteering in a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen or donating baby items to the crisis pregnancy centers. These good Christians work for others asking nothing at all in return because they know that we are called to be His light in this dark world. I'm sorry you think you are living in hell. While it's not paradise, I think this country is full of good people. More good than bad - that's for sure. People who step up and are willing to help others. You point to cities such as LA, the Bay Area, Las Vegas - whatever.. I can't speak for them - but I live outside of Chicago (also a big city) and while it has it's share of crime & problems, it also has many wonderful people who try to make a difference. I'm thinking that the cities you mentioned are the same. Are you always so pessimistic? This is my feeling: This is where God put us. He gave us a job to do. Preach the gospel, feed the hungry, clothe the poor - and we need to BE THANKFUL for all of our blessings. This country isn't perfect - but I wouldn't want to live in a country that was 100% Chrisitian. Because it would be who's interpretation of what's Chrisitan? Some Chrisitans think women should only wear dresses - are women's jeans now illegal? What about divorce? Some people think marriage is till death do us part (I'm one of them) but who am I to tell "Mrs. Husband beats her" that she can't divorce him? Some believe that alcohol is a sin? Some believe that "chatting" is unchristian.. are we going to outlaw that? See how ridiculous it becomes? No thanks. I like the freedom to worship God as I please - not as your brand of Christianity dictates. I want a government that will protect the rights of Wiccans as strongly as it will protect MY rights.

2nd Corinthians 6:14-1814 Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness? 15 What agreement does Christ have with Beliar? Or what does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Therefore come out from them, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch nothing unclean; then I will welcome you, 18 and I will be your father, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."Your Honor(Lord Yeshua HaMashiach) I rest my case.

AMEN JAG!!! THE FREEDOM THROUGH CHRIST IS BEING LOST BECAUSE THESE CHRISTIANS THAT WANT WORLDLY FREEDOM ARE LEADING THEM TO SIN, BOUNDING THEM IN SIN! FREEDOM COMES THROUGH CHRIST, ANY OTHER FREEDOM WHICH IS OF THE WORLD IS OF SATAN! WE DO NOT DESERVE FREEDOM OUTSIDE OF CHRIST!

You missed the whole point. *sigh*I want to be able to worship God in the manner that I believe is right. I don't want ANY political leader to tell me how to do it. If this were stictly a "Christian Nation" run by people who want to uphold the Christian Faith - we'd lose our freedom. WHO'S interpretation of Christianity are we going with? Take a look around - there are 30,000 plus different types of Christians. Do you want Baptists to dictate how YOU worship Christ? Methodists? Charasmatics? This one's gonna hurt: Catholics? THAT is my point. So it's much better if the governement stays OUT of religion. The government should protect everyone's right to worship as they choose. If the Wiccan is guaranteed the right to gather & worship a tree - however ridiculous I view that - their freedom to do so becomes my freedom to worship Christ as I see fit. Seriously, don't you see that? It's the same with freedom of speech. I may disgree with what you're saying, but I'll die to protect your right to say it.

To be quite honest with you...there is only one type of Christians. And there is some 33,000+ churches like you say. It is better for me to follow His Word than any men. But today, there is some Christians are getting in trouble to preach Truth? Is that wrong? Yes it is. Is it freedom? Yes!, What kind? Worldly freedom. In short, I repeat we are losing our God-Given freedom...Satan's spirits like to force their ungodliness upon us, while it is forbidden by God for us to preach Truth by Force, as force love is not Love.JagLovest thou in Christ Yahshua, Lord and Saviour of the world.

Jesus hung out with sinners. Tax collectors & prostitutes were his friends. I can "seperate" myself from sinners by not allowing their lifestyle to influence me, but I won't seperate myself physically from them. I would LOVE to become friends with a Wiccan so I can share the love of Jesus Christ with that person. I'll answer the question to v. 15 that you quoted above: What does a believer share with an unbeliever? The good news of Jesus Christ. And if the person is hungry, I share my food. And if they are thirsty, I share my drink. And if they are cold, I give them my coat. I become all things for that so they might be saved: 1 Corinthians 9:22To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.

you think the Apostles cared about the condition or laws against Worshiping God? You think Stephen(a martyr) cared? Of course he did, but did he advocate or for the government, which ALWAYS IN HISTORY WAS AGAINST GOD, NO!Ephesians 6:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.Matthew 16:25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.I would be honored to live a country that would kill me for Christ. But Since he put me here, I would not take that blessing for granted and you by brother/sister are missing the point. You are standing up for a Lost cause, It's like Standing up for Jezebel. She would not come unto repentence, she constantly fornicated with the Children of God. In this Cause this Nation has partaken the Wine of Jezebel(Babylon/The World).

Inquiring minds want to know... what is the one type of Christian? Who do you exclude? Is it me, because I worship Jesus at a Catholic Church? Am I not a Christian in your opinion? Is it the Lutheran? Or the Methodist? What is your definition of a Christian?

Our history says otherwise. Even before we became a nation, we have done many terrible things in the name of God.To point out the sins of the nation and advocate change is not hatred of ones nation. There has come a notion where if one does not wave the flage, hate Muslims, and cheer as we go to war, one hates his county. Now, any veteran who eturrns from the war disillusioned is branded a coward by those who never even served.Name one Prophet who was loved by his people. Every Prophet who spoke the truth was branded a traitor and hater of the nation. Michah had 300 false Prophets spouting patriotic propaganda while he alone told the unpopular truth. He told Ahab "If you return safely, I am not a man of God" Gues what happed to Ahab?

How am I standing up for a lost cause? Because I choose to focus on the GOOD of our nation, rather than the bad? Because I am so very thankful that I can worship God in the Church of my chosing in the manner in which I choose? Because I think we've got it GREAT here in this country.. no bombs dropping on our heads - for the most part enough food & shelter, a free education and opportunity to be whatever we want to be. Look - I think all goodness comes from the Lord. I am happy I am an American and I thank him for all of the blessing we receive by being Americans. Have you visited a third world country lately? If not, you have no idea how good we have it. It's not perfect - but it's waaaaaaay better than most. And I'm thankful for that.

Separating ourselves from the Unequally yoked was a reference to those that would not heed or hearken to the Message of the Lord, which was the Gospel. I pray that you understand that. Jesus would not forbid his Men to not preach to the Lost after all 1st Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the Truth. It's referring to those that reject the Gospel and Salvation through the Blood of Christ.

This is WHY our country is great. Because you have the right to advocate for change. Speak out - shout it from your rooftop!! Tell everyone who will listen how much you hate this government and how wrong the war is. More power to you! And this is the best part: Nobody will come for you in the night, rip you out of your bed and shoot you in the head in front of your family right before they rape your daughter. THAT is what makes this county better than most.

Sorry - I'm going to keep on preaching till I take my last breath. Maybe they will reject it today.. and maybe they'll reject it next week.. but I'm going to keep at them in word and deed until maybe they will listen. I'll let God decide when it's too late for them to heed the Message - only He knows the condition of their hearts. My job is to preach - and in order to preach, I need to associate with those who need to hear it, not write them off as "lost." I was once lost too.
