What role does gender play in a person's worldview?

Well that's a really difficult question to answer Juggar!
If I were from a Muslim family, my role would be consistent with my beliefs. My grandparents and also my parents, had a set role to play during their early married years. This may be a something derived from past British links but in our country, the Husband was expected to work while the wife stayed at home and took care of the household and children's upbringing. It's not like that today as both parents need to work to make ends meet but that was the norm in our society at one time.
I think that gender plays a significant role in a persons world view coupled with socio/economic and religious factors. JM2c

Yes, I think gender plays a huge role as well. What happens if your religion, in your estimation, historically discriminates against your gender. Whether true or not, would this cause you to hold the entirety of your faith in contempt?

Gender factors into every facet of human life. So of course it will factor into any religion.
But here is the issue with Christianity, The King said for ALL to give the Good News. That meant ALL not just one gender or another.
Levites hijacked this and caused it only to be males. This is WRONG. Contrary to The King.
But then no Levite can give the Good News. Wrong order.
As for a religion discriminating against a gender, my advice like in all heretical things, is to leave the churches that teach heresy and start your own based on the actual teaching of The King.

It is everything. This is why God made help meet for the man. Man's viewpoint alone is not complete without a woman's input. There is a reason that God made it take one man and one woman to produce a child and to raise a child. No child is complete without the perspective of both.
So if the men at your church are giving you a hard time...don't worry about it! We need your feminine input whether some realize it or not CJ!
