The book of Romans teaches that God has not forgotten nor cast away Israel--his people which he foreknew--but they have to be saved by the blood of Jesus like anyone else and they have to obey the scriptures like anyone else. We are now one family--the Israel of God.
The Bible teaches that there is a dichotomy between the Jew's religion and the church of God--the Jew's religion is a false religion, NOT the counterpart of the gospel. Paul was a Jewish man, in the Jewish religion. He left the Jews' religion and came into the church of God--
Us sinners of the Gentiles, leave the ways of the heathen Gentiles and come into the church of God.1 Corinthians 12:2 Ye know that ye WERE Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.Galatians 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
First Corinthians 10:32 shows the three groups:
Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
The LORD our God is one LORD. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
