Truth is many Christians continue to sin for many reasons.
Yes one two reasons,
1. we have a brain which is hard to tame.
2. we have this thing called the "flesh" in which our beautiful spirit is contained, and they do not get on with one another.

You say only non beleivers practice sin or like sin. So you sin free every moment of your day ? Every one and everything forgiven? No words spoken opposed to the written word of God ? Have not broken the speed limit or feel some forums go to far in their rules ? rofl....

Do Christians sin? Yes. Do they willfully continue in sin? No. Scripture indicates that, while we will always “fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), we have the hope that the power of God is at work in us to “make us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image” (2 Corinthians 3:18, NLT)..http://www.gotquestions.org/do-Christians-sin.html

The difference between a sinning unbeliever and a sinning believer is that one loves his sin while the other hates it. The believer who stumbles in his walk with the Lord regrets it, confesses it, wishes to never do it again and seeks to appropriate God’s power and grace to avoid it. He doesn’t consider how much he can sin and still be considered a Christian. Rather, he considers how he can avoid even the appearance of sin in the future..http://www.gotquestions.org/sin-Christian.html

Saints: the best reply to this was #4: "The letter to Hebrews was written to a specific people with whom God
covenanted in the Old Testament as per Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and
Deuteronomy. So then, in context, the pronoun "we" in the passage above
doesn't target Gentiles: it targets the author and his fellow Jews.

Heb 10:26 refers to a passage in the covenant; which essentially says that if
and when Yhvh's people know in advance that something is a sin, yet go
ahead and do it anyway, they're out of luck because there are no
atonements stipulated in the convent for scofflaws.

"Anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or alien, blasphemes Yhvh,
and that person must be cut off from his people. Because he has despised
Yhvh's word and broken His commands, that person must surely be cut off;
his guilt remains on him." (Num 15:30-31)

Q: What's a Hebrew scofflaw to do about his situation seeing as how the
covenant provides him no way to escape the wrath of God?

A: Switch to a different covenant."

A big key to understanding this passage is in understanding to whom it was written. As well, it needs to be taken in context. The author went to great lengths to describe just what the sacrifice of Jesus accomplished and how it was vastly superior to the blood of bulls and goats. In one place, he states that we are perfected forever, who are being sanctified. He also refers to the promise of the covenant which states that God will remember no more their sins and lawless deeds. I could go on, but a huge key is found in 26:39..." ....we are not of those who draw back to perdition but of those who believe to the saving of the soul". The only way for a Hebrew to have no sacrifice for his sin is if he is still in the old covenant. And the only way that can happen is if he is in unbelief, having rejected the blood sacrifice of Jesus for sin and thus insulting the Spirit of grace.

Some would argue that this interpretation gives license to sin. However, a license in so many words...is permission. There is no permission, but certain promise of rebuke and chastening, which Jesus said would go towards ALL whom He loves....not some....ALL. I would not be so bold or self righteous if I were any of you, to assume that you will never or never have been a candidate for chastening.

That is what awaits the believer who sins. The part of us that is deemed responsible for sin is our flesh, namely the old man. This man, the body of sin, is declared to be dead in Christ, crucified with Him. God did not overlook our sin. He punished it. And the old man, who remains alive in this life, is positionally dead. Sin is paid for in full by proxy. and the old man of flesh will not inherit life, but will ultimately perish. It is not sin that pulls the old man off the cross. It is unbelief...the rejection of the finished work of the cross. If you think sin can remove you from the family of God you are already treading on dangerous ground of not accepting the power of the sacrifice of Jesus. Think seriously and soberly on these things, Saints. Was His blood more powerful or less powerful than the blood of bulls and goats?

Bondage to sin exists in only one place: in the mind of any person who continues to see himself as 'sinful' or as being any type of a 'sinner' even after he has been 'saved from sin'. Jesus Christ came to set us free from bondage to sin. Avery good book to read to break free from bondage of the mind and bondage to sin is "Feeling Free To Be Like Christ" available on Amazon.

This is a direct reference to the Mosaic law which requires sacrifice for unintentional sin only. The remedy for intentional sin was never sacrifice. The remedy for intentional sin has always been repentance and restitution.

Man cannot break free from the bondage of sin. Only the gospel can free man from the bondage of sin. Man must hear, then receive, then respond to the gospel message.

Heb.10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

The book of Hebrews is written to Jewish believers in Christ. They were Christian but were wanting to go back to their traditional activities in keeping the Law of Moses due to persecution. They were not denying Christ, but they wanted the Law also. Paul is exhorting them not to go back but to go on. Leave the Law behind and go on to what Christ now has for them. And in this exhortation, this letter to the Hebrews, Paul is showing how Jesus Christ is greater than everything having to do with the whole Mosaic system. This includes the message, the messenger, the Covenant, the priesthood, and the sacrifices.

Whereas when you sinned under the Law, then you must bring another sacrifice. Again, and again, and again. But under the New Covenant, there is only One Sacrifice, and that is Jesus Christ. And we who are Christian, who have come by the One and only Sacrifice for sin, Jesus Christ, God tells us, (Heb.10:17-18) "And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin."

Did you see that? Your sins have been remitted. Thus 'there is no more offering for sin'. If you sin wilfully, there is no more offering for sin. You don't go and try and find another. You have come by the One which is good forever. Your eternal destiny is sure because you have come by the One which is good forever.

But, we don't get off scott free for having turned away from God and done 'despite unto the Spirit of Grace' (Heb.10:29) We do face the judgement of God against this sin. But even in this God is not trying to destroy us. He is trying and will free us from these sins which are destroying us. (Heb.10:27) "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."

Did you see that? 'Devour the adversaries'. Not you. Your adversaries.

Heb.10:26 is a strong warning to the believer in Christ. But it is not saying the believer will lose his salvation.

Heb.10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins," This is not speaking of "remission of sin" The two are completely antithetical to each other. Willful sin does not equal remission of sin.
