Have you been reading his threads?Well I had my attention drawn to then tonight. When reading the threads I saw the eros love of the world in the posts. I will explain quite simply by 1 Corinthians 13.1 Corinthians 13 (King James Version)King James Version (KJV)Public Domain 1 Corinthians 13 1.Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2.And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3.And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. A man may be perfect in everything, but without love he had nothing, even if he gives his life, moves mountains, has all the gifts. For Christ said, the teachings of the prophets, the law could be summed up in to two commandments. Love your neighbour and love God. The bible cannot come to terms with Koran for the bible was Gods truth. John 17:17.Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth and the life." So clearly he is the truth that sanctifies us, taught by the prophets and Moses in the law. We see Moses warning us to listen to only him. Deuteronomy 18:15-21.Jesus said," Not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom."It is those who obey his teachings to love. So do not be tempted to believe that dark can become light, nor Eros love can replace the Agape love of God. 4.Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5.Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6.Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Agape love of God is selfless, it is a love that rejoiceth in truth not iniquity so the Koran cannot become hand in hand with the truth of Gods Love and word. Avoid and shun anything that is not taught of Gods love and word. 7.Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8.Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Truth and love do not fail. But knowledge will vanish, so trust the Lord Jesus. 9.For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10.But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11.When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12.For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13.And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.Love is what God has given us, remain in his love above all things. Love God and others and forget false teachings not based in Gods truth and teachings of his true prophets. Not preaching to the choir, just reminding everyone so they will be grounded in the truth of Gods words against the enemies.Love Faithful.

Oh my, I feel so special. Now I'm the topic of conversation.
rolleyes.gif
Well, let's see what I can say.. I like long walks.. not beaches.. I enjoy chocolate. Yup, definately a sucker for chocolate. hmm.. I have a loving family, and great siblings whom I love.As far as my background in faith, I was raised sort of baptist/Christian. I only began maturing in my faith when I sought God out on my own. I've come a long way, through trials and tribulations. I have gone from being close to Muslim, to being an evangelist among Muslims, with a heart on fire to see them come to Christ.I have gone from being a stark literalist, to being much more informed about the Bible than I was when I was young and naive.I have done my utmost to be respectful to everyone, regardless of how they may trespass and be in err. And even with Superjag.. I hold no grudges. Really, I like the guy,
rolleyes.gif
As far as the false accusations, and slander against me because of my good behavior in Christ, let me make it clear yet again.First, I do not believe in Islam.I am not a MormonI am a ChristianI am not a oneworldismist or whatever you guys call itI am not a relativist.I simply show that there are many true things in other religions. This is exactly the same thing C.S. Lewis tells us in "Mere Christianity".The Qur'an is not the word of God.The Scriptures of the Bible, these are the true testimony. Isaiah 8:20I do believe that the Qur'an has many true things. For example, it praises God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God who gave us Torah, and the God who, through Jesus, gave us the Gospel. Sure, the Arabic word for God is Allah. Just like the French word is Dieu. The terms do not connotate any name. Baal connotates name. Now, I hope we are done with this finally.. before Superjag finds this and splashes colour everywhere.
rolleyes.gif
As far as Evolution. That is a proved fact. But I will not argue that here. Keep it in the thread.well.. I hope that satisfies you all.. Any questions for me?

John 8:44 (King James Version)44.Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.Satan spoke the scriptures when he spoke to Christ. But clearly he did not speak them truthfully but for his own purpose of darkness. Now why do you see the same thing in the Koran? There is no truth, outside the word of God. given to us, it comes through the Holy Spirit and through Gods chosen prophets. Using the words of God as Satan does is not someone speaking or writing truth, but putting their own twists and curves on it for a purpose not Godly.I do not have to defend myself, for the Lord God will do this if he feels it necessary. Isaiah 54:17. The righteousness of God is clearly above your understanding. And the Koran does not fall within truth or righteousness. For the Koran works against the truth of the gospel and God our heavenly Father as Satan in the wilderness did.Faithful.

Well, this isn't a tough one at all. Ok, first of all, the Qur'an is from a false prophet. It teaches false things. However, just as all great lies, it mixes in a great deal of truth. That is why Satan used the scriptures when speaking to Jesus; the Father of lies knows well that to make a successful lie, you have to clothe it with truth. The Qur'an, however, upon really close study, falls apart internally. Why? Because it clearly calls all true believers in God, to go back to the Torah, and to the Ingil {that is, Gospel}. So, what I have done in my evangelical approach to Muslims, is very simple, and much more Christian than the approach of others here on this Forum. First, I have tried to understand the religion, and see through their eyes. Then, in a way they can understand, I present the Gospel to them. I can even use imagery from the Qur'an, such as the beautiful Surah Yusuf, which is more Christian than Muslim, because it is actually based off of oral sermons given that day. I can show how the Qur'an tells of the great authority of the true scriptures, and I can show that often where the Qur'an disagrees with Christianity, it's either completely off of the mark, or, it's a complete misunderstanding. For example, the Trinity in Surah 5, is understood as being "God, Jesus, and Mary"... Obviously that's the understanding of the Trinity which all the verses are so opposed to. That false "Trinity" comes from Collyridianism. This was a Gnostic heretical group. They influenced Islam a great deal. For example, When Jesus makes Clay doves, claps his hands, and then they come alive and fly away. That's in the Qur'an.. but it was actually from the Gospel of Thomas. That's just one example. In any case.. I don't care to prove how "righteous" I am to you. If you really believe your "understanding of the Holy Spirit is greater than I could ever understand", that's fine, I'm not into pissing contests.. especially with so Holy a thing.. I will simply follow the voice of Truth in this; Thou shalt not judge the servant of thy master. Do not Judge a fellow bondservant. I will not judge you. Feel free to judge me of course. I actually don't really mind.I hope I've been clear enough for you.Any other questions?

.But Tyrel, please reconsider your stance on evolution. Because the majority of Christians do not believe in evolution. I can safely say that more than 80% (dare I say 95%) who walk with God are against evolution.100%.I still love you though. (brother)

I know. I used to be a part of that 80-100% remember

However, Truth is not a democracy. I'm quite sure of what I see. Again though, I'm not going to argue Evolution here. Please, please please, if you want to discuss it, to back to the thread where that is the topic, and then observe my evidences, and then give me your honest feedback. However, God is leading me into Truth here, just as he always has. He is faithful indeed. However, if you really think I'm going the wrong way, please feel free to show me why you think I'm wrong... which you can only do once you hear what my perspective is.. So, I beg of you, if I am wrong, show me how I am wrong. Work with me here man. I can't just accept "aww, C'mon, the rest of us Christians don't agree with you, can't you just join the bandwagon and ignore the evidences you brought up??"That's just simply not good enough for me.(Wakka;26160)

yes... Solid point that. Right on.. That really gives me some food for thought.

Wakka, do you see what I have to deal with? I mean, not that I mind being judged unfairly or anything.. but still. Nobody has bothered to work with what I'm saying fairly. I'm just being judged, and it seems there is nothing I can say to help the situation.. oh well.{Superjag, I'm sorry, I'm just using this post of yours as an example, I'm not really addressing you in this post. But if you want, you can ask me questions too. I'm open, and I don't bite.}In any case, this thread is open for you all to ask as many questions as you want. I'll do what I can to answer. I'm still a little flattered, I must say.oh, and faithful, before I forget, I'm 21.

Um, not really. I see it that we judge through the Scripture.John 7:24 - Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.If you say that the Bible shouldn't be taken literally, then you're not taking God literally.

Sorry... I don't think that makes sense... at least.. I'm not sure I understand. The Bible isn't one book. The historical works are literal.. the Ahistorical works.. are not... Like Job. Job is not literal.. but 2 Samuel is.. It's really not hard to see, just look at the structure and style in Hebrew. Also, the Word of God is a term describing the apostolic teaching, whether written or Oral. Paul never actually wrote a Gospel, but he still had a Gospel.. Romans 16:25The Gospel, The Word of God, The Eternal Torah.. these are synonyms. They don't refer exclusively to text in any case.I can't go much further though, because your post really isn't that clear.. I don't understand it. Please, feel free to clarify.

Alright, let's keep this going then.Anybody have a question about me? I mean, apparently I am so special that I have an entire thread all just to address me, so I thought, being me, I would give back to the community what I could, you know, to help clarify, and give information on this particular subject. I'm an expert of sorts.

The true scripture being the Torah but what about the living word Jesus Christ being made man??? How do you explain that using the Koran. It cannot be done because the only thing they have in common is the ORA in the middle of the T-H and K-N. Satan likes to parade himself as an angel of light so why not have his own version of scripture? Surely no one can be that naive?
For example, the Trinity in Surah 5, is understood as being "God, Jesus, and Mary"... Obviously that's the understanding of the Trinity which all the verses are so opposed to. Righteousness is not bore out of self so you would be sore pressed to prove it since nothing you could do could give it you.I am glad to share this news, we are the righteosuness of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. We have no righteousness of our own. He paid for our sins so we could come before God. I thought you were are christian. Correct a wise man and he will thank you. Correct a fool and he will dislike you. Correction and judgement are not the same thing. Ask the Lord for discerment, you need it.Faithful.

If there is one thing my Spirit is sure of then it is this.God is not a liar. He did not use Fred, Joe, Peter, Mavis or Daniel in the book of Job because the person he knew was named Job. This was the person God speaks about and to whom Satan referred to. The writer may not have met Job but he certainly knew God and was a Holy Man of God inspired to write the book of Job by the power of the Holy Spirit. What part of God being Truth do you not understand? Tell me is it what we know of God or what others know that means we have a living relationship with God? Christ never told a lie not a half truth. If he is truth, then he is his Father Son and more importantly like his Father he speaks the truth. There are only 4 Gospels, there are three sypnoptic gospels which are Matthew, Mark and Luke because they all give the same basic teachings of Christ. Whereas John deals more with the words spoken by Christ himself. They tell of Christm his birth, life and ministry up through his death and resurrection. The disciples being sent out to proclaim the gospel message of forgiveness of sins. These contain the truth about who Jesus Christ was and what he did to save us. They alone are gospels because they contain the truth about Christ and the truth about eternal life and forgiveness of sins. The Gospel contains the good news of the new covenant of salvation through Jesus Christ sacrifice and forgiveness. And is part of the new testament which speaks of how this covenant effects our lives as children of God. The Torah tells of the Old Covenant through sacrifice leading to cleansing of sins. Both contain the word of God. And both speak of the living word of God from beginning to the end. The living word being made man, Jesus Christ and living amongst us, and doing all the things the prophets were told to write about him. The saviour of the world the final covenant where we would be restored to the Father and live for ever. One word and one way, Jesus Christ.Alot more to it, but clearly the truth is there.Faithful.

You CLEARLY missed the point. The Qur'an has mixed truth with lies. This is the most dangerous type of lie, and as Christians, we need to be aware of it.I do not believe in the Qur'an. The Scriptures are in the Bible.. I've said that so many times it's beginning to be not funny anymore. For the last time, if you want the Truth, then start :study:Now, all that said, I believe God planned it so that the Qur'an would be full of contradictions and mistakes, and just enough truth, that Muslims could come to Christ if they are lead using the Qur'an. You should see all the converted Muslims who came to Christ through simply observing the Qur'an. Stop demonizing the book. It doesn't come from Satan. It comes from man. It is no more or less a book than any other in a library. It simply is held to be religious, just like Mormon texts, it has NO AUTHORITY, and is not the source of truth. How thick are you? Do you finally get it?(Faithful;26225)

actually, you are writing, and pronouncing Qur'an incorrectly.. However, the Qur'an does say that Jesus is the Word of God, who became flesh. Kind of interesting eh? God put little truths here and there to lead the Muslim to Christ, even in the Qur'an.(Faithful;26225)
The Father, the Spirit and the word are one. Can you really divide? We know that the Spirit has always written the truth in the scripture through inspiring the men who wrote it. Guess whats missing from the Koran?
you are thick, aren't you? I already made this clear. The Qur'an is not scripture, it is not Canon, it is not Truth.(Faithful;26225)

Faithful, with due respect, I think you are the one who needs to get on your knees and pray for some discernment. I have clearly said all along that I am a Christian, and that I do not believe in the Qur'an, or the book of Mormon, or the Hindu Vedas. I also know better than to demonize these books. I've likely been evangelizing to atheists, Pagans, Neopagans, Muslims, Jews, and others for longer than you can imagine.. well, maybe not.. since I gave you my age
smiley-channel.de_zunge024.gif
Just the same, do me a favour will you? Just read my posts, and take what I'm saying at face value. I don't know how in the world you come up with such posts as this, but you clearly don't believe I'm being honest when I say I'm a Christian, who knows the Bible well, and has a heart to evangelize the lost.btw, if you would like to see some really cool material, written by Christians who have a heart to reach Muslims, check this out, and tell me what you think;http://www.the-good-way.com/eng/Particularly, I suggest you start with this;http://www.the-good-way.com/eng/book/b01.htm(Faithful;26226)

wow.. time to get on those knees and ask for that discernment time again. You have a very strange notion of what it is to lie, and what it is to tell the truth. If I tell my child a story, such as the Chronicles of Narnia, to show them the truth of the Cross, am I then a liar, because there was never a special wardrobe, or a land so called, or such fantastical adventures?Job is not a Lie!! Job is a poem. How can a poem be a lie? It makes absolutely no claims beyond itself. The only way a poem can be wrong, is if what it means to communicate is actually wrong. In the case of Job, this isn't the case at all.(Faithful;26226)
They alone are gospels because they contain the truth about Christ and the truth about eternal life and forgiveness of sins.
.....naw... you aren't seriously suggesting that I haven't read, and given Bible studies on, the Gospels... are you?? Have you read anything I write? I am an executive of the Christian Fellowship at my school. We do Bible studies. We've done the Gospels before. I actually wrote all of the studies on the Gospels, Romans, and Hebrews, and then a few studies on Prophesy and fulfillment. Who do you think I am exactly?(Faithful;26226)
Ahmen. Truth indeed. Truth so strong that every knee will bow. Truth which sets us free. Truth which brings us life.but I can't help feeling that you think you're sharing something new with me.You have a very silly manner of going about things.. Hopefully you'll start to get the picture soon.I hope you read all of the above before posting in response. Don't worry, no pressure. Take time, sit back, and read it. Please.. no more blind responses. In Hope,~Tyrel

TyrelI know you are not a bad Guy I have seen your good sidebut I want to explain something to you WE DO NOT CARE TO HEAR YOU THEROYS ON HOW WRONG THE BIBLE ISand how right you are. All your energy seems to be in disproving the scripture as the word of God and as narriatives, dreams, vision, based on ancient Eygept and cannanite, pagonism and just about any theroy you can muster up besides God.You have your own site anyone interested in ideas can read but I findyou coming to our Christian Bible study site and trying to undermine our belief thatthe bible is the infalable Holy word of God quite disrespectful and rude. You are entitled to your beliefs but we do not have to listen to themWe will not allow blashemy of God Word on this site from you or anyone Now if you insist on posting this stuff please keep it to non-christian forum or I will move or delete it.as I said I do not think you a bad guy but you are a confused ChristianAnd we are told to discern against your kind of doctrine
