The point of Bible prophecy is self evident and can be plainly read.
If, because of false beliefs, you have been blinded to the truth, then there's nothing I can do. Only as the end time events unfold, will you and millions of other deceived people finally understand God's plan. Isaiah43:18-20

Matt 24:40-41 NIV Two men will be in the field; one will be taken (paralambanó) and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken (paralambanó) and the other left.

John 14:1-4 NIV “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God ; believe also in me. 2My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take (paralambanó) you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Rather than thinking that the Wrath of God is the next event (it isn't), we're still awaiting that vertical black ten-king fourth terrible beast formation.

The model has three levels:
The area above the gray line starting on the left is the Heavenly component.
The nations make up the second and starts with the grey bar.
The Church starts with the rainbow swirl because narrow is the way to Heaven.

On the Heavenly level: The fourth Seal is evident with rampant new diseases.
On the national level, America, Russia and Europe have all be attacked by the King of the South (jihad) and they are "mixed" with an invasion of arabs (muslims).
On the Church level, we have the Laodicean lukewarm church evident with the acceptance of sin (homosexuality) within the body.

We have not had the formation of the fourth terrible beast; that's next.
The Man of Lawlessness has not yet risen and "hamstrung" three of them to rise to power from within.
The one 'seven' with a peace agreement - which is also part of islamic eschatology (because they borrowed that from Daniel) - has not been "forced" into being.

What proves the wrath of the Lord to be the next prophesied event, is the quote by Jesus at the commencement of His ministry. Luke 4:18-19 Also how He will 'clear His threshing floor, gather the good grain into His barn and burn the chaff. Matthew 3:12 Note: His barn isn't heaven, but all of the holy Land.
It is a quote from Isaiah 61:1-2, Jesus stopped at mid verse 2 and did not say the Day of vengeance of God, or any more of chapter 61 that goes on to say how the Lord's people will be gathered into the holy Land and blessed by Him.
The Lord's Day of vengeance and wrath is the next event we can expect. It will enable the establishment of a OWG, that will soon be ruled by on charismatic man. But we who 'mourn for the Lord will be comforted .....we will be called priests of the Lord and through His people, the Lord will make righteousness and praise to show forth to the nations'. Isaiah 61:3-11

Why don't you look forward to that wonderful promise?

Luke 4:18-19 and Isaiah 61:2 do not PROVE the Wrath of God is the next prophesied event. That is a not a logical conclusion.

As a matter of fact, if the Day of the Lord includes the Wrath of God, and I can point to verses which give solid evidence for that, then we can say based on Jesus' last Discourse in Matthew that there are things which need to precede the Wrath of God which comes with the Day of the Lord!

What Isaiah 61:2 does is set the sequence of events: first, the year of the Lord's favor. Second: the Day of His Vengeance. It does not necessitate that His Second Advent BE the next prophesied event!

The Jews did not know that Isaiah 61:2 included a Gap in prophecy. They did not understand that Isaiah 61:2 included two Advents of Christ Jesus.

A gap in prophecy can occur when two similar events are linked by a common theme.

Gap03.jpg

The order is always given in the correct sequence, which is an important part of my eschatology, and why I can speak so confidently on what will come next, and why those who do not take a sober, analytical view of the Bible, like rabbi keras here, jump to conclusions of their own fantasy. Beware the fanatic.

Jesus reveals that by reading the first in Luke 4, but not the second even though that is in the continuation of the sentence! He is the one who reveals the mysteries in the prophecy! Jesus reveals the gap in Isaiah 61:2!

And as Jesus fulfilled the 60 or so prophecies totaling some 300 references for His First Advent, I think He can also fulfill the like number of prophecies concerning His Second Advent quite literally as well.

But what I don't do is contradict Paul when he says to encourage each other about the Rapture.
I would never encourage a person to look forward to God's Wrath! That we are not to experience as Paul taught. rabbi keras teaches otherwise...

I would disagree. The words "harvest" and "wheat" pertain to the rapture, per post 6 also.

Rev 14:14-16 NIV I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

Quote Marcus.

In no way do I think the Day of the Lord's wrath is the Second Advent. Quite right, the Day of the Lord is His Day of wrath. His Return will be another Day, a Day of glory and light, not darkness, as is mentioned many times about His Day of wrath.
Did you actually read the rest of Isaiah 61? It tells of the Lord's great blessings to His people as they live in the Holy Land. From the text and other scriptures it is plain that Jesus isn't physically present at that time. His Return for His Millennium reign comes later.

rabbi keras, I do proclaim you spout foolishness saying the Wrath of God is the next thing: Jesus said otherwise in the Olivet Discourse and you're not better than He.

The Day of the Lord is depicted in the Olivet Discourse and the sixth Seal with its precursor event foretold from prophecy: the sun/moon/star event.

The Day of the Lord is the Unknown Day, and it is also linked by the Last Trumpet to Rosh ha-Shanna - the Returning Anew.

Paul referred to the coming of Jesus as the Day of the Lord in 2Th 2:1-2.

With the Day of the Lord, we are gathered up.

Right, the Day if the Lord's wrath is the Day no one knows, unlike the Day of Jesus' Return, which can be known as 1260 days from the desecration of the Temple.
His righteous people will be gathered, but not to heaven. What is the point of that? No, we have work to do here and that is our destiny and our great fulfilment.

Right after proclaiming that the midpoint abomination is in the Temple, the Great Tribulation which is abruptly shortened for the sake of the Elect so some will remain and be alive when Jesus comes, the sun/moon/star event which heralds the Day of the Lord, the sign of the Son of Man - when He comes which everyone sees! - and then the Elect are gathered from all over the earth -- Jesus says this:

Mt 24:32-36 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.

“Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

Now the fool says that he knows to the day when Jesus comes.

Paul, who has more understanding then rabbi keras said:

2Th 2:1-2 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Paul links the two just as Jesus did in the Olivet Discourse. Jesus' Coming and the Rapture are 1-2 events on the Day of the Lord, the unknown Day.

Only a fool can say he knows when the Day of the Lord will come.

As I don't know, yet, the day the AC will sit himself in the new Temple, I have never said I know the Day the Lord will come. My point is Revelation says many times and in 3 different ways the time between the desecration of the Temple and the Return. This time, therefore is NOT the time that will be shortened as Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24:22, He was referring there to His Day of wrath, that will be 'like a lightning flash from the East to the West'.....

You still hang onto a rapture to heaven. Why? What do you think you will do there, as Jesus will be on earth then.

You have no credibility.

When Jesus comes will be on the Day of the Lord. That is when we are gathered up. After that, those left behind suffer God's Wrath.

When that Day is over, in Isaiah 63 is a picture of Jesus returning to our home in Heaven.

The next prophesied event is Psalm 83, Ezek 38-39, then the peace treaty signed by the antichrist and Israel. Are you ready keras?

That's because you don't see His second coming as multiple events. His coming parousia begins with rapture, and rapture precedes wrath.

1 Thess 4:15 NIV According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming (parousia) of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

That is exactly the time that will be shortened. It's called the Great Trib keras Matt 24:22 NIV. Lighting that flashes is referring to the first resurrection and rapture, the twinkling of an eye..

Matt 24:27 NLT For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.

1 Cor 15:52 NIV in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

What will we do? Have our wedding feast with our Lord of course...

Luke 14:14-15 NIV / Rev 19:9 NIV and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” 15When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.”

ATP, please show exactly where Luke 14:14-15 says the wedding feast is in heaven.
When are the dead righteous people raised?
Where will the Kingdom be after the Return?

Its time you stopped making things up and believe in the truth of all scripture for a change.
