All the republican candidates were asked at the first R debate if they would support the candidate who won regardless.. and all of them agreed. They were asked this question b/c the person asking (Fox News reporter.. the conservatives.. etc) didn't want DT going off and starting some 3rd party b/c he wasn't "supported" in the R party.
Well, he is not supported by many Rs b/c he is NOT a Republican. He is probably not a D either, although he has supported in his past the absolute MOST liberal Ds in history (Pelosi, Reid, Rahm Emmanuel, members of the Gang of 8, etc). He is certainly more D than R but really he is in the party of Me, Myself and I. He couldn't care less about party and all that. He cares about winning. In my (humble?) opinion, he has sold his soul to the god of Winning. And many agree w/ that. In fact, i say that people who vote for him or support him regardless of all the evil he has done--and will undoubtedly do--(fraud, conspiracy to hire illegals.. set up fake school, now closed. the list goes on...) are headed to Hell.
is this extreme language? Not at all. I do not say this without God Himself to back me up. After all, you either believe God gave us the Bible (and also His Word that is not explicitly in the Bible) or He didn't.. It's either His Word or it's not.. The 10 Commandment are either absolutely true or they are not.
I doubt DT cares a fig about the 10 Commandments except whne he is addressing a Christian audience and has to pretend he does, to get their votes.
In other words, if someone knowingly supports someone and helps that person to acquire power (over others), knows that this person is un-Christian and untrustworthy and yet continues to support such a person, you can rest assured that person is NOT a Christian. And furthermore, you should not listen to him/ her (whereas not all non-Christians are of absolute ill-will, but this kind of person very likely is).
I have read the entire bible. I have been a member of a "mainstream" Christian Church (off/on) all my life. I have read the New Testament several times over. And i do not merely believe but KNOW that the Bible is God's Word (whether i can "prove" it to others or not). It may be misinterpreted by humans.. and therefore get a bad rap here and there by this person or that.. but that is the fault of humans, not God..
And i think that even if you don't believe in the bible you can agree that murder (4 example)-- the intentional killing of an innocent person (something the bible condemsn) is wrong? Then you know that abortion cannot be tolerated by a society that calls itself "civilized"--
the point being that even non-Christian people recognize that there are great laws and truths in Christianity that it would do society well to adopt and adhere to. All societies on Earth recognize it is evil to kill an innocent child. That is not merely a Christian belief
In any case, my original point was supposed to be about the R candidates who took the oath to support whomever the nominee would be. Well, when they took that oath, they thought they were agreeing to support a REPUBLICAN! They didn't know @ that time about DT, didn't know what we now know. So they are not bound by that oath. They would not have made the oath if they had known that DT is a liberal (among other nefarious things) in Republican clothing
